  1. The guys at RuneVillage have managed to port the Chronicles style to phpBB3. Maybe if we ask nicely  Also found this style that could be used instead: ThorLargeX demo And these other were the ones I liked the most, included ThorLargeX: [*:1rh6l2qh]Blue Moon demo [*:1rh6l2qh]NWO_Orange demo [*:1rh6l2qh]GlossyBlue demo
  2. Darko and Marshalrusty, you really deserve all the credits for getting us back again. Thanks a lot! :D
  3. Here's my contribution for the street lamp theme. Took it today while going out for a walk :)
  4. Sorry. Couldn't find time to go out and take photos. :( Will try this week.. And with the risk of sounding dumb: what's Tootsie?
  5. So when is this over...?
  6. Are photos that you've taken before allowed to be submitted?
  7. Count me in as well!

  9. I liked LP's entry a lot. Good work! =D>
  10. Here's my last minute entry for the manipulated section. Tried to do something abstract, but perhaps I overdid it.. I guess it's up to you to judge. :XD:
  11. Updated the new version with changes to the text. Please let me hear your opinions!
  12. Thanks for the input, but regarding the border - it already has one. White, 1px. Is it that difficult to notice? I'll see what I can do with the text.. Stay tuned!
  13. Thanks for taking your time to reply. Glad you liked it!
  14. Made this simple manipulation from a photo I had taken a few months back. The theme is a simple one, the environmental issue of today. Not going to plunge into that area but let the photo speak for itself. Hope you like it. Feedbacks are appreciated. *Edit* Uploaded the new version [hide=Manipulation version 1][/hide] [hide=The original photo][/hide]
  15. Here's my entry for the unmaniplated section:
  16. I believe his question has already been answered and there's no need to continue the off-topic discussion. *Lock*
  17. ^ That's what it means.

  19. Just wondering, when is the last date for entries?
  20. It's sad news that you're quitting, but I respect your decision. Thank you for all you've done. You've always been there when needed. More words are needed to really express the gratitude and appreciation, so this will do. *Big hug* THANK YOU!
  21. That's exactly my way of seeing it. If I see a rock ready to be mined next to me, busy or not, I'll still mine it. Though most people still have the "my rock, don't mine it" mentality and really gets mad at you. I simply ignore them and/or friendly remind them that no rocks have labels of anyone's name. I also expect people to do the same towards me and mine the rocks I'm mining. The person who gets the rocks wins and moves on towards the next rock.. That's what competition is all about and that's one of the things I love with mining. Besides, I haven't spent years on mining for nothing. ;)
  22. Very nice photos =D> You're really good!
  23. I don't mind at all! And jak, it's not like I have stopped being into photography ;) I just haven't posted for some time.
  24. I bought mine with the 18-135mm lens kit. It's very good! Thanks for suggesting the macro lens. I'm very interested in macro shots and I've considered to buy one since it doesn't work well with the current lens setup. I'm going to see if I can get any good offers from them. Thanks again for the feedback :)
  25. As some of you know, I've bought my first DSLR camera, Nikon D80. It's the first time I handle such advanced cameras but I'm getting the hang of how it works. I've made this topic to show my progress and I'm also hoping to receive feedback/comments on what I could improve. I've added short comments on the photos and I hope you'll like them. #1 - A close shot of stone bird sitting on a tomb stone. #2 - Was testing out the shutter speeds on a fountain and this is how it can freeze the drops on very high speeds. #3 - The same fountain as the previous one but with much lower speeds. #4 - Same as the previous shots, just from an other angle #5 - My try with B&W. The original didn't look nice so I added more contrast to get this effect. #6 - An other B&W shot of my 5-stringed bass. A joy to play btw ;) #7 - Found this beautiful building while walking in a park. The small path added a nice touch. #8 - A simple shot of a sunset. Not much to say :) #9 - Taking photos in the city is fun, especially if you can find good subjects to take photos of! #10 - Playing at night with shutter speeds, focus lenghts, zoom levels and rotation combined can get you interesting and sometimes amazing results. #11 - A typical summer photo. Would probably fit as a postcard. #12 - A generic nature photo. Nothing more to add. #13 - Close shots of some flowers. Again, nothing more to add. #14 - Insects aren't really my thing, but on this occasion it managed to stay still for this shot. #15 - A macro shot of a beautiful rose. Add some water drops and it's perfect. I love how it turned out so deep red. Well, that's all the photos I have to show for now. I hope you likeed them and as I said, I appreciate it if you can post any feedback/comments. Thanks! :D
