I liked the photo #4 the most. Nice shots overall :D Though why is the last photo not in B&W? Kinda misplaced.

It was a piece of blue glass on top of an iron pole. Found it while I was walking around my neighbourhood.

Thanks for the comments guys. I will try to take every possibility to go and play with the camera. ;) Oh btw. I got it with a 18-135mm lens, so it's pretty useful for zooming. Though I wished it could do macro shots better... I'm not too keen to buy a macro lens due to their price but who knows :)

Yup, as the subject says, I finally got my Nikon D80 that I had ordered. Got it on Monday and took the day to read a bit in the instruction booklet. Got to admit that I quickly put it away and tried to figure out by myself how it worked, as it's much funnier that way ;). I've taken some sample shots during the days and I hope you guys will like them. None of them are edited, just rotated.

If we're going with panoramas, does anyone know any good programs to do the stitching? Photoshop doesn't work very well with the photomerge function :|

You don't "eventually" get in. No where in the bible does it say anything about that! What it does say is that you'll be standing before the judgment seat of Christ. If you accepted him or not, it's up to you.

Let's see.. The level for cooking lobsters is at level 40. From level 30 to level 40 it would require 239 tunas. Changing to lobsters it would require 829 lobsters from level 40 to level 53. I don't think "panorama" is such a good choice since it's a bit advanced. I myself don't know how to make one :| How about a "spring" theme? Since we're almost there.. (yeah, I know it's a rip-off the SXC competition, but still ;)) I do like trapical's idea btw. A theme that can have several interpretations surely sounds interesting. It would invite people to be creative and add more variations instead of all looking almost the same. Just my thoughts.

Thanks for the the fun rally :D I can see myself in some of the pictures in that video (which is a very good one - well done!). A bit shame about the spammers and impersonators, but we did well at keeping the rally going for almost 2 hours. I'll be there the next time as well ;)
