  1. I'm working on it. For the life of me I have no idea you are meant to stop him from eating the roots. He gets to all of them in 2 steps and I can't click them fast enough even knowing where they were. Took me 3 (4) pray pots and Falador Shield prayer-restore because of that. oh and Deflect Melee helped *a lot* on him. -edit- The Decaying Avatar that is. I succeeded destroying the 3rd root in time. He got away with the other 2. I suggest keeping the screen in a horizontal view and keep switching between the corners. It's not like you have something better to do :P I'll have you know I'm looking at porn thank you. Can't blame you for that.

  3. Perfect description of how you get the molisk thingy in the durgashon caves to attack. It is also a perfect description of those caves.
  4. Which if true is funny because the Soul Wars cape destroys it. BTW, does the Soul Wars cape you get as a reward only get used in the minigame and do Delfect curses deflect damage back on Avatar? I know they don't on Nomad. They work on the Avatar. But the most I've seen reflected was a 4. And the cape works outside of Soul Wars.
  5. I totally agree. They should have made this into a miniquest that you eventually have to do in order to start a real GM quest.
  6. This quest feels a bit like Dream Mentor with some added puzzles. Puzzles are good, though not too difficult. First fight is boring, second fight is too hard (for me :( ). Storyline is close to non-existant and I think that stinks. WGS truly is the better quest.
  7. I'd say he looks like that Sith fellow from The Old Republic trailer.
  8. Nope, still happens, a lot. One thing I hate is getting all prepared to do something (I'll give my last Fire Giant run as an example) then forgetting a key item. Had the slayer gem, glariels amulet, rope and food. Ok fine, went into the middle room and started attacking. *Punch* Err.... Wut? I'd forgot to lift my whip out of the bank after I had done a spot of fishing. :wall: I once noticed I forgot my Anti-dragon shield while I was at the Irons and Steels
  9. I remember reading that the chance of a random during combat got lowered. Don't worry though, I'm much worse :P
  10. I see that you are a sadist. Anyways, the fact that I never had a Dragon drop sometimes pisses me off. Thanks, I think  Anyway what's that supposed to mean :!: You find other peoples' misery funny.
  11. I see that you are a sadist. Anyways, the fact that I never had a Dragon drop sometimes pisses me off.
  12. It seems that a possible new Mahjarrat quest is coming up. That is, if Nomad is one.
  13. Why couldn't it be real? And I think Forsakenmage succeeded here with her joke. 1) jagex aren;t going to give it to tip it and not put in their front page 2) jagex don't plan an entire year at once and also it didn't include anything of the new skill or quests 3) 1 update a month no i think these reasons are good enough to suggest it was in no way realistic enough for it to be serious You're no fun
  14. Sounds like player-made-up [cabbage] tbh. It even contradicts itself in the following paragraph.
  15. I doubt it will be a GM quest though. According to the New Year message, the Jmods would give some more information before the release of the next one.
  16. And as we all know, wiki's are an excellent source of valid information  Saradomin has never been a human. Most of the info on the RuneScape Wiki is true actually, and I'm one of the people who try to keep it that way. If you write something new, you will have to give a source, otherwise it will get deleted. And I have read the Saradomin article and it never says anything about Saradomin being a human, that's just rubbish. That was just me being a bit too sarcastic. I personally love the RS wiki and I use it a lot, but I sometimes stumble upon articles that are just silly.
  17. A Runescape Oktoberfest sounds fun.
  18. AARGGGGGGGGGGGGGLLLLLLLL! No Fairytale 3 :( I thought there were no updates last week <_<

  20. From my understanding and reading the past few pages of the thread to come up to date Zaros doesn't seem to fit into that category of "chaos" everything said here and by various NPC's makes it seem like Zaros was actually a God of order, and a God that Guthix actually approved of. Maybe Zaros could be one of the original Gods? I mean through speculation and lack of proof I myself believe that Sara and Zammy both came into power through the same type of thing - stealing another God's power. Now some semi-interesting questions for you all - It seems that everyone is saying Zaros power is being felt now back on Runescape and that he is coming back to the plane with more power than before; But what about Guthix policy? If you're a God then GTHO my world. Surely that should apply to Zaros? Or is it that everyone thinks that because Zaros' reign built, peace, harmony, and paradise that Guthix might unlock the gate for him? Oh and another thing when will Guthix stop snoozing? Surely with Zaros retuning Guthix' alarm clock should be going off right about now? And also with the return of Zaros will there be God Wars: Episode 3; Revenge of the Zaros? Zaros wasn't banned. EBLISCOUNTER: http://www.runescape.com/kbase/guid/postbag_27 And could you find that 'Saradomin was human'-part. I seem to have missed that.

  22. Ta Quir Priw is actually the Grand Tree instead of Guardian tree. Also: I have researched these accursed creatures of mithril ore, the results are disturbing. Analysis leads me to believe that they were created by a higher power, what sort of creature could be so powerful? ...metallic for missiles and magical energies...green for close combat and magic...both have their breath weapon for which they are infamous...next I will try reason and logic, may Guthix watch over me. I must caution against offering the wrong gifts to the spirits inhabiting the world beyond this. They seem quick to anger if the offerer was in any way responsible for the offering's death. Item 1 - mithril present in large quantities as suspected. Item 2 - guarded by vast dragons of the same metal. Recommendation - this has potential to undermine our monopoly, suggest we keep the location secret. The combination of each of these prime ingredients will result in a fine pie, heightening the reactions of the lucky fellow who eats it. Sadly, most demand in my establishment is from scruffy fellows who make the place look untidy. no one I know of has access to an onyx amulet, the cost is just too immense. Enchanted, charged dragonstone amulets appear to be able to increase the perceptions of the wearer, at least when mining rocks for ore, they can increase the yield of precious gems. ...because her coach was a pumpkin. The Baxtorian Falls are well worth investigating, in my opinion, since water leaves the lake above this area yet none appears to flow into it. What could be the source of this quantity of water? My investigations show that water temperature in the Baxtorian Falls area are substantially higher than might be expected given the local climate. The source of this heat will now be the focus of my studies. Our best guess is that some sort of heat generation process is occurring in the tunnels we have scryed, though the denizens are proving quite a hindrance to our free travel. Research was never this dangerous for my teachers. Barakur has proved his worth, as we were forced to slay several dragons on our way to inner regions. The caves are clearly of artificial manufacture, though the excavations must have been thousands of years ago, to judge by the... Our theory of artificial origins has been vindicated! We have discovered a sturdy door, which seems to be a similar age to the original excavations. I am sure that there is a magical or mechanical activity behind it, though it may be simply be a great rush of water. The door resists all of our efforts to penetrate it, even the Fishing explosives which Derril suggested were tried with no success.
