Have you ever tried to fetch thousands of arrows at a time or sold thousands of items to shops? Hows about firemaking? do you think they have something in common? No? well they do! THEY BOTH REQUIRE EXCESSIVE CLICKING! Hows about a sell X option in shops? I think that selling 30K fire runes to get tokuul 50 at a time is kinda ridiculous considering it takes an hour... Making 1500 arrows right now is a nightmare And firemaking... can I please use my tinderbox once like i can use a fish on a range?

I like it and i like the untradable parts idea... perhaps you could make the requirements for putting the halves back together the same cook level to create. That seems like it would balance it out

This may belong in rants (if it does mods please move it) but I was wondering Is it just me and my friends computers having bad ping or are the servers affecting everyone. I have been lagging to the point where I log and i have never done that before. If this problem affects more than me please let me know and if you have a solution short of a new ISP or other drastic measures, do tell

Im going to make a petition against merch clans in the official RS forums tomorrow if anyone is interested

I am tired of the spam, I cant even play with my public chat on in the ge anymore, its ridiculous. As for banning merch clans, I think that would be sweet but there is no way to see if someone is indeed merching unless Jagex sends in like undercover mods :shock: maybe they have those already? :? either way should there ever be a way to detect it other than the horrendous spam ads (which after banning merch was declared would disappear from all but the stupidest bots) then I would be down for that

I think that the merch clans arent the only thing affecting this particular aspect of the economy... with school starting tomorrow, a lot of casual P2p members (those that buy members when they have the time and are typically not super high levels) are going back to F2p. these people would be the main ones doing things like flesh crawlers, basilisks, cockatrices, roaches and other easily accessible herb and seed drops. Meanwhile those that got very good at the game are sticking with members and are probably trying to buy pray pots (competing with merch clans) to do pk, gwd, and barrows. I think that that along with the merching is driving up the price... I personally am getting a little tired of the merching because of the price disparity between stuff "nooby" like a granite body and "decent" like d chain. Maybe, just maybe this could even out. It will teach people to not only get some more of their own items but if enough people take advantage of the merching (lets use the ranarrs for example) and do things like flesh crawlers, the market will once again be flooded with ranarrs when everyone realizes the profit they can make. Hopefully if the second part of that last paragraph comes into effect the market will bounce back down but whatever way it bounces, I'm sure its not going to be gentle

I dont really like the idea of the armour personally.... the newer armour would be jacked up in price by merch clans and rich, costume seeking members to ridiculous prices that even your high level f2p players wouldn't be able to afford without some serious no life work. I know they are currently pvp only but free players can use em and they degrade so.... why not have this boss monster drop corrupt dragon items?

obby shield is for the str bonus... i was thinking something with higher melee def. Spirit shield... more millions that a lot of players dont have. Rune defender isn't tradeable. If you look at it like that I want it to be just a compromise... Personally im a little tired of the huge gaps between what is considered "low level" member gear like a granite body and "decent" gear like d chain... or "high level" armor like bandos and spirit shields. My concept was something in the middle

I was kinda hoping it would bridge the gap between a 300K dragon square and a 20 million DFS...

I definitely use mine for combat, sorry if im not one of the upper 5% of RS that can afford bandos yet...

The players gallery is just that, A player submitted art gallery, not a development concept art. @ hedgehog, I like your idea but the difference between materials changes at each interval so it is impossible to tell. I personally think my calculation is more accurate, and you obviously think yours is so I would like to agree to disagree for the time being. That said, I would like to look into the sq to kite ratio for addy and see if they are roughly the same as the rune ratios, that would settle our disagreement. Expect a post from me soon on that end

I have the following suggestion to make a dragon kiteshield. Yes I know a lot of people have talked about it but hear me through. STATS: Attack: -Stab +/- 0 -Slash +/- 0 -Crush +/- 0 -Magic -8 -Ranged -2 Defense: -Stab +58 -Slash + 64 Crush +61 Magic -2 Ranged +61 Summoning +57 Other: Strength +/- 0 Prayer +/-0 Ranged Strength +/- 0 Quest Requirement: Monkey Madness (Not only another motivator to finish that darned quest :? but a fairly hearty requirement) Creation: Since the Dragon Sq Shield has left and right halves, hows about this one has top and bottom halves? Lv 70 smithing to put together. These halves can be found as monster drops from all slayer monsters that already drop d square halves. I used simple math to create the stats, I simply used the ratios from the rune sq to the rune kite and applied them to the dragon sq. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK

I support this but I have 1 comment, the T-Rex's special ability of giving a +3 to slayer could undo soul wars as a person with 97 slayer or higher could ava rush at the start... maybe jagex would not allow it in soul wars and I know it would take ridiculously high levels on multiple ends to get this but still, we have players out there that will do it.
