Israeil isn't willing to negotiate on East Jerusalem either. Would you be willing to neogtiate on half of Paris? Half of London? How about Berlin? Washington? Brussels? Moscow? Any other capital city?

Same-Sex Marriage
The fact that (you think) it's selfish doesn't apply here, people are entitled to be selfish. Also, I'm thinking the other way around- Having children is selfish. I know many wouldn't agree with me here, but the world we currently live in is a terrible world in many ways. Brigning new life that will 100% be either a cause to a terrible world, or harmed by the terrible world, or both, seems selfish to me. Remember that giving birth and parenting are both biglogical (and as for tradition and the consensus of most societies, possibly pyschological aswell) needs, and the only way to fulfill said needs is to accomplish them (obviously without asking the child in advance- that's impossible, but still, no one has asked me or you if we ever wanted to live), which also seems selfish to me. Lastly, most of the rest of your post seems pejudice, and frankly, primitive aswell. I'm not going to argue that here, so don't bother commenting on my last sentence.

It's not... Claws of Guthix maxes 30, +21% from Wolpertinger, +10% from Void Mace, max hit of 40. Fire Surge maxes 28, +21% from Wolpertinger, +15% from Staff of Light, max hit of 39. So for raw damage, Void Mace > Staff of Light. Void Mace also provides prayer bonuses. Miasmic Barrage maxes 32, +21% from Wolpertinger, +10% from Zuriel's Staff, max hit of 42. Ice Barrage maxes 30, +21% from Wolpertinger, +15% from Staff of Light, max hit of 41. For raw damage while using Ancients, Zuriel's Staff > Staff of Light. Rune-saving sounds really nice. It probably is very cost-efficient for rune-intensive activities like bursting. But when max hit matters (bosses, where you need to do as much damage as you can to beat out crashers, or PvP, where you need to kill your opponent before he or she can heal), Staff of Light comes second whether you're using the standard spellbook or ancient magicks spellbook. Finally, Black Salamanders provide very cheap magical damage for single target combat. Prayer isn't particularly expensive if you're geared right either. It takes me less than three prayer potions for an entire hour of killing Rex with protect melee and a Black Salamander. If the Staff stays above 10M, it won't be because it's "the best", it'll be because it's rare. It may as well be Abyssal Whip rarity... except you need 8 more slayer levels, you must be on task, which also means you can't use wild pies to reach the level (doesn't work for slayer tasks), and you need a fire cape (lol-worthy requirement but I thought I'd mention it anyways). Or it could be because it's an incredible melee weapon, but rumors I've heard imply that it's the same speed as a Godsword (4 speed, or 20 attacks per minute)... You're forgetting some things- The Void Mace isn't up for other spells, unlike the Staff of Light. Zuriel's staff can't last longer than an hour (which basicly makes it a lot more expensive than SoL, if you're going to use Zuriel's staff regularly), and is basicly only used in PvP worlds (and perhaps BH worlds too). SoL has an amazing special attack, and for it, it is probably better than Zuriel's staff for PvP. SoL makes rune-cost degrade by a whole lot, especialy when combined with the FOG robes (pretty awesome for things like Castle Wars, bursting, and any other comat Magic-training). Lastly (although it doesn't make it better as a staff, but it still is a major role in the staff's price), it's great for melee (for it's special and not so bad melee stats), and, combined with the Elysian shield and a melee-protection Prayer, can almost completely negate melee PvP damage (imagine that in Castle Wars for example...).- Same-Sex Marriage

If Archimage gets in, I think me and him are going to have a very tedious multiple-page-debate just like the New Jersey one... Lol... OT: I believe same-sex marriage should be legalalized, yes.- 08-Feb-10 - Musical Update & Strykewyrms
After reading a bit here and chatting with some friends, I can guess (don't take my word for it, it's just a guess) that the staff isn't a rare drop from the Icy Wyrms. Sure, you still need 93 Slayer, a Fire cape, and to be assigned them, but other than that, I'm thinking after 5 Ice Wyrm tasks you should be getting atleast 1 staff. DO NOT TAKE MY WORD FOR IT.- Team 'A' vs Team 'B' ~ A - 42 B - 37

No you didn't, you bombed their villages and what's left of their schools and hospitals. Massive war crimes were committed, and white phosphorus was used. Stop being apologetic to your war criminal government; not like the US is any better with our torture regime not being investigated in favor of political expediency, though. and also maby the reason they were bombing you is, oh i don't no, destroying their olive fields, forcably removing people from their homes so israelies can move in, demolishing mausques (sp?) that are dozens of years old because they can't find the building permit? And we could just keep going on and on. I can assure you that destroying their olive fields wasn't the reason Sderot was bombed, that's just plain rediculous. Both because it wasn't civilians that launched the bombs, it was the Hamas, and because the reason- is the Hamas' principles... "Forcably removing people from their homes so Israelis can move in"?! I'm shocked, who told you this? Not only is it not true, but during the 'Hitnatkut program' in the summber of 2005, Jewish and Israeli citizens were taken out of THEIR homes (by the Israeli government) so that Palestinians could move in, and in the promise to achieve peace. (As you probably already know, no peace was achieved). Oh, you may also like to know that Israel preserves all religous and historical places and even has several laws that protect such places. Man i really, really hate getting suckered into these debates because it almost always ends in anyone accusing israel of being called an anti semite or the people who are pro israeli are just media drones and don't do any research for themselves. So if i'm gonna actually debate this for once i'm gonna take off the gloves and go all out. Lets rumble. 1) Yes they did withrdraw but no where near to the previouse borders and they were still blockading gaza, controlling all fuel, food and water that went through the border. if I invaded your home, then I decide to give you back your pool but not let you have any water for it what would you do? 2) yes however there is one loophole in that. Holy sites can and have been demolished if buildings that are hundreds of years old are not up to code or do not have building permits. Of course its kinda of hard to repair homes let alone mosques when israel doesn't allow any building supplies to actually enter gaza. proof that israel does demolish mosques. And i'm still not used to the new url thing so sorry if it takes a few tries for me to post any links. http://www.qassam.ps/occupation_terrorism-2207-Israeli_violations_of_international__humanitarian_law_16_22_December_09.html its near the end but its worth while to pay attention to the rest of it. And that was only the most recent article I could find 3) And if you want me to really to start playing dirty then heres a "fact" for you. Israel's admition into the U.N. was conditional on the terms that they stop building settlements in the gaza strip. Since they have not stopped and have actually increased israel's membership in the U.N. is effectivly null and void. I have numbered your answeres and my responses. 1) After seeing the amount of bombs and rockets continuously launched at Israel full power from the "pool", I'm not sure giving the rest of the house would be a good idea, especialy because Israel is geographicly "narrow", meaning any bit of land can cover much more of Israel's with rockets and such. Also, you must understand that, yes, Israel did conquer the Gaza strip in the first place, but that does not mean it has to give it back. Israel did give it back for, guess what? Promised peace (wasn't achieved, i.e. Israel got nothing in return). Israeli citizens were forced out of their homes with no choice but to do as the government wishes, once again, for nothing. As for food, fuel and other necessities- You may wish to know that through underground tunnels from Eygept, weapons amongst other things are delievered to the Gaza strip on a daily basis (although Eygept is currently working on blocking said tunnels because of the weapon and ammo smuggles, I'm not sure how far they've gone, it's possible they're already finished). You may also wish to know that Israel does supply Gaza with food, fuel and other needed materials, only because the coutnry is aware of the residents' needs and no other reason. If it wasn't for things like the tunnels, Israel could let supplies come from other places, but that's too dangerous at the moment. 2) The homes were not up to the code, what did you expect them to do? I'm 100% certain that Jewish homes would have recieved the very same treatment if those weren't up to the code. 3) I can probably fill 2 whole pages with "dirty" facts much worse than this one, lol. Anyway, Israel is currently trying to achieve peace through negotiation, and have tried it through Turkey, Germany, the USA and even directly. The other side wouldn't agree to even start negotiating without pre-declared terms (the main one is stopping any illegal settlements). Personaly, when I'm looking to make up with someone, I don't expect them to put terms to talking to me- first talk, and then we'll see what we can do (fun fact- The settlements were temporarily frozen and no negotiations were made). The Israeli government is whole-heartly trying to reach the other side, and have not set ANY pre-declared terms, even though certain issues are well in the air (such as Gilad Shalit, who, by the way, is captured against the Red Cross code for over 1,100 days) Lastly, I can assure you that if illegal settlements were the only problem, Israel would never have went to war, and no one against it either.- Team 'A' vs Team 'B' ~ A - 42 B - 37
