Sy_Accursed
In theory the fact its nokia and lego are irrelevant. All you need is something you can build to do thoose mechanical movements.Motors to power that mechanics that can be computer controlled.A computer control unitA computer system that can work out the required movementsAnd a camera that can pick up the original layout. Still kewl though. rangeor
Wow. My robotics team has been able to do quite a bit with an NXT, but... well, not solve a rubik's cube o.O ^The fact that it's nokia and lego are relevant because it proves that even a kid with a bit of imagination can do this. If it used a more industrial-standard type of material, the viewer would think, "Okay that's cool. Now get back to making technology we need." But no, it uses Lego parts you can buy in an NXT kit for $280 USD, and a mobile phone - things many kids or teenagers are able to receive as birthday or Christmas presents. It was probably also programmed in Labview, meaning it would be more than possible for an intuitive and intelligent child to build something like this. Sy_Accursed
That still doesn't make lego or nokia relevant .You could use almost any smart phone in place of the nokia, and there's a number of different toys out there that you could build it from. I agree its important it is made out of these everyday things so it shows anyone could, in theory, make it; but nokia and lego specifically are completely irrelevant to its working. aquariusman
I don't even think you need the phone, just any camera to take a picture of the layout. And Jaspa, to solve a 3x3x3 the basic way, you'll need to memorize approximately 5-6 different algorithms (Patterns). There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new, better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience. Sy_Accursed
How can tht be difficult (the simpson head) its only in 8 bits aka 2x2x2, they aren't really challenging at all until you get to 3x3x3 so u have more than 2 pieces to complete each row Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
