You need to know when the item will rise , i didnt just get *lucky* with those merches , i watched the market and saw the melee peices going up in value, so i bought the plates and then next *valuable* 3a with the ammys. Plus solo merchers do nothing bad for the economy they just go along with the normal price wave. Try solo merching and tell me it doesn't take skill ;) Fair enough then. I can't argue with that. I would try it myself, but i have about 3m in cash, and roughly 11m in cash + items. So i don't think it's worth the risk. I still maintain that Clan merchers are scum though. They're right down there with PJers and free loaders (but thats a different argument).

The catch 22 of runescape these days is that in order to make money, you need to have excessive amounts of money already (or epic amounts of luck, but i'm sticking wiht the first for this argument). For exalmple, but im not isngling you out, you spent ~107m on 2 amulets, and then resold them for ~118m, a 11m profit. Your briefly satisfied, but chances are, before long you'll do it all over again and make even more money. THAT is why markets crash and THAT is why people hate merchenters. The underlying fact of Runescape is that everything these days requires some greedy merchent to keep it running. That is the main reason we are in a global economic crisis, so will people please learn that in Runescpae it can't do much good. I'm not saying that the RS economy will collapse, because it's only a game after all. BUT pretty soon JaGex will get wise, put in some impliments like they did with RWT, and then you'll be on the floor crying. Actually markets crash when noone buys anything. People hate merchers because they have more money than them , people hate manipulators because they missuse the ge for their own personal gain. And what do you think ive done wrong ? You sound to me like your saying using the ge to buy low sell high is wrong ? Please look at my post above yours (2 above this) to see what i was getting at. Clan merchenters are scum. I don't hate solo merchnters, if you were to put them on a moral scale, they would be in the grey area, not right, but not exactly wrong. People that buy low/sell high i'm not sure, because at the end of the day, that doesn't sound like it takes much skill. (forgive my naieveity with that as im not sure about it's mechanics)

I prehaps wasn't clear in my writiing, by Merchenting, I would define it as a massive group of people such as A C I D Y (if that's still going?) who regularly manipulate the prices of items to squeeze every gp possible out of the public, then dump that item, causing it to crash, leaving it in ruins. And then move onto another item. A sole merchenter I have less against, as they do have to have copious amounts of skill to make their money without the "help" of 60 clan members.

I've had similar ideas. I've settled on a new hot spot in the quest hall of the POH, which would be instead of stairs or a carpet. It would be a big orb kind of thing which would let you see past quest cut scenes. I got the idea from the banker in Draynor who shows you the Wise Old Man robbing the bank through a security orb or whatever.

Firstly; take monkfish, 2 prayer pots, 3 super energies and a super defence. Its cheaper with the same effect. Secondly; Run around the room clockwise, hugging the walls, when he attacks, move away and cut a root, repeat this and you should be fine, but it may take a few attempts.

^^ The loot they give is like Glories, Dragonstone gem tips, baby dragon bones, dragon arrowtips and dragon darts. As well as other stuff. Most people loot them, then pay the scout a percentage of the loot. This however can seriously hinder your profit. (Generally its like ~20% to a scout - well thats what my friend pays at least, and hes a bit of a cheap skate ;) ) You could also sell them on the GE, it's more reliable for money. I'm not sure if you lose/make money, but if there is always a demand, there must be some profit to it. As of 6th April 2009, Dragon implings are 294.4k at Grand exchange medium price. I'd like to point out however, that I have NEVER seen a D imp outside puro-puro, and i've only seen ONE inside, and that was just after the mini game came out. And thats from quite an active player. My advice: Stick With Chins, Keep a few jars handy, some bind runes and equip a net, if you see an imp, catch it. Browse the RSOF forums and see if you can find any imps near your location.

I was just browsing through forums and stuff (some outside tip.it : ) and i noticed the acronym 'IRC' comes up a lot. A quick search on wikipedia shows me its like clan chat, but more efficient? Please could anyone shed some light on the program? And is there a place I can download it?

I don't particularly mind people smoking it, I haven't tried it yet, but chances are I will in the future. Both my sister and brother smoke it, and I think so does my other brother. To be honest though, at the end of the day, it works out less dangerous than alcohol. With alcohol (generally), you want to go out, start a fight and generally cause a mess. You also wake up the morning after with a blinding headache. With weed/pot/green/pole/leaf/hash/zoot/spliff/marijuana - whatever you want to call it - you want to stay at home or with your friends and just chill out. Mainly because your able to do nothing else. I do however, disaprove of it's ethics. Mainly because you have to go out and buy it from drug dealers, who are usually in gangs, or have gang connections. This means that eventually you hard earned cash supplies gangs, and I remember reading a study that showed after you buy something like £4500 worth of weed, you contribute through that gang to weapons of some sort, which will eventually kill someone. Not a nice thought. Personally, I think the goverment should legalise it (By the way, i'm British), but only in certain places. Such as Amsterdam does with 'coffee' houses. They would also distribute it, and so be able to keep tabs on it's THC levels and whatnot. They would even make a nice profit. Some restrictions should be put in place as well, but if a 14 year old can work out the above, i'm sure the people that the government actually employ to think it through in much better detail.

Wanted to post proof but I assume it's whilst your doing the quest/mentioned in a previous postbag - General Khazard mentioned something about an alignment before and it has a connection with the Mahjarrat. "The starts are almost perfect" I seem to remember that the Mahjarrat are waiting for the planets to allign so they can perform a ritual - Maybe that slumberdeath ritual we were discussing from the last Chaos letter? I love the Myreque storyline! \ Submarine, penguins? There might be a use for the HUUUUUUUGE penguin suit in their base? Or the penguin suit for their submarine? I'm not planning on doing this, but has anyone tried to use the fairy rings for it? Theorietically it could work, as you see Chimpchomchas that have been teled by timing through the rings? Cabbages may work on the same principle? It would make the walk MUCH shorter. DKR in Edgeville to XYZ in Feldip Hills? 20mins work? Or 30mins going from wizard tower? As there are noobs in edge who would stop you -.-
