If you don't like Aviansies, by which I mean you would rather rip out your eyeballs, some other options would be Abbarent Specters (sp?), for their herb dropping abilities. Going to the Smoking kills dungeon is good, but you will need a slayer helmet, which is very difficult to obtain. Sell the herbs, and you could make something like 140k/ inventory if you get 20 rannars. The only issue is prayer potions, it is therefore a good idea to wear the best prayer bonus gear you can get (Guthix stuff from clues is fairly cheap on GE), take a super strength and attack, and pray Mage at all times. (Dont forget a nosepeg!!) If you want, bring a macaw, but i'm not too sure how well they improve drops.

Getting a virus through Runescape can't be good. I suggest you scan your computer, with the internet unplugged. Not turned off, actually unplugged.

Slayer is sort of decent cash, there are btter methods out there though. What kind of raw cash / items have you got?

Surely anyone looking for 99 smithing would just buy addy bars instead? Faster exp and a ready supply from Aviansies?

I said normal chins, red chins is a waste of money for a little faster exp rate. Also, i won't consider aviansies. I just did them by using a tanking method and i made a small profit after several hours there. I was thinking about ranging something high leveled with full void+mage short. First i thought about black demons but idk a good spot, any ideas? I tried black demons, and they aren't as good exp or money as Aviansies. If you really don't want to do them, Basilisks in the smoking kills place are meant to be good exp, you can even bring a canon for extra exp.

I trained smithing from 63 to 69 by buying my mith and coal. Had no problem getting either. I can see mith having a lower supply than coal, but it was still readily available. And I honestly can't see why coal would be bought out by Merching Clans, there is simply too much of it, and too high a supply. (Think F2P rather than P2P) And i'm fairly sure you're limited to 10k/hr or something anyway? That said, you if you actually can't buy coal, try putting in offers for max, or go to the mining guild in an F2P world, and ask people how much coal they have in their banks and buy it without going through the GE?

But here's the good news: eventually, the prices will become more feasable again, and people will start to buy them, hopefully equalling supply and demand. Chances are they won't get back to their original prices for a while, some may never. Its like a sped up version of the markets in reality. Almost.

Wealth - If your looking for summoning exp (My choice) Seers - If your looking for mage exp (Personally, I don't think it would be worth it) Life - If your scared (first time, don't want to risk it, ect) If you've been before, it's not really a problem staying alive. Bring some blood bursts if you get low on health. Or an emergency shark just in case. EDIT: Also, some people bring Proselete/Ianite (sp?) torso and legs with them to put on when praying, it saves prayer and thereofre your time there: because runes stack and prayer pots don't. Some even go as far to mage in prayer boosting gear and pray the +10% mage spell. It supposedly gives better exp overall, and means you don't have to end a trip to repair ahrims. I have not tried this, and personally, if I wanted to not use ahrims, I would use Infinity. Hope I helped :thumbup:

Saw Carl at Water Is Nat and Deu Terium's F2P maxing out party about a week ago.

No idea about whip, but torstol was glitched and went to something like 400gp, this was just the effect the fix had to get it back to its original price.

Thats what? 600% decrease in one day? Thought the fluctuation was +/-5% at the most? My guess it's a glitch.

Very very nice guide. My only criticism is that the tables for exp rates is too big to actually fit on one screen :roll:, which seems especially annoying as levels 1 - 20ish are blank. Also, do you know of any good clans that would be willing to accept me as a member? I'm not surrently P2P, and won't be until the middle of June (exams...), but after that i'm looking for some major exp.

An interesting read, but I think the idea of srtting in Runescape is to create a boundry in time. For exalmple: it wouldn't be wise to have microprocessing technology here because that wasn't commercialised until the late 1900s, but at the same time you would expect to find some later inventions of the Renaissance, such as the Musket. My point here is that the setting is not for creative purposes, instead its just a nice setting. You wouldn't expect to see castles and unpolluted rivers in a modern day MMORPG, but you would in a medieval themed one. In summary: its so that the game has an appeal factor, setting it in Renaissance times allows for beautiful architecture and whatnot, but at the same time, I wouldn't be all that surprised to see much more modern things because the game functions more on appeal than setting. (Reading this back my argument is very inconcise, but my points are all there.)

Reading through it I was worried the update may suck because they'll put in way too much content and so it will all be underdeveloped. Having read that it will only be a small amount of updates is much better, because it means they will be thouroghly thought out. The race idea sounds nice, sounds like racing over large areas of map in the most imaginiative ways possible? For that they'd probably impliment a stopwatch or something, give it to players and have some nice coding to work out their times and display them in the clanchat interface. Similarly with a scavenger hunt, that will most probably be a checklist of somesort that relays back to your clan chat.

Unholy ashes? Which could be used for...... Sailing, obviously.
