I personally dont think that there should be a tech. max as well we should be allowed to find something that works or simply research the bloody internal combustion engine and go from there (you could not have a jet engine under steam power)
  3. Get out hex.
  4. [bleep] keep forgetting to do them one sec.
  5. Hopefully they use Windows. or norton. I am starting the construction of a massive amount of praetorian class ships (14) and this should take roughly 15 years to do. When I am done I could send over 65,000 fighters against the urk orz...

Okay then I will have at a 10% use of research rate roughly 90 man hours per year (I can do a fair bit of math in my head and cba to get a calculator )

I think it was 150k and if I remembered correctly yours was 50k? EDIT: That was starting armies never mind. EDIT2: I was under the impression that I had 3x as many people as you but then again I could be very wrong...
  8. And where may I ask would you get the higher quality explosives. Also I am doubtful that certain explosives would be very useful as it is generally the shrapnel that does the damage not the actual explosion.
  9. Mather if you are coming into sol I politely ask you to stop and leave.

Retech I doubt it though you can infer it from the page on the actual thread.
  11. Dusty I meant that for every ship I created on earth I created one on nova lux. While I cannot do this anymore due to certain restrictions I do have a rather large fleet there.

Merry Christmas *takes off beard* Anyways I am going for the 2% growth rate and I think I will put 10% of my population (yes I am copying ross in the basics but I can probably put alot more if the need arises) into research so that should give me 234 million man hours per year...
  13. oooooooooooooookay then I guess now would be a good time to tell all of you that almost everything on earth was doubled on the eresu system (not anymore until cloning kicks in however) so I have a fleet the size of the one destroyed in the sinabo system waiting there...
  14. So they were a victim of the infinite improbability drive archi ;)

Your egg laying race would also have an infant mortality rate of 90+% most likely.

Right now I am confused... Do I control the whole british empire (and play as the United States of Britain) or just the north and south american bit? If there are no objections I will be taking the whole empire...
  17. Grim_ replied to archimage_a's topic in Falador Tavern
Yes my ship numbers are rather high but if you check I have a rather low amount of infantry forces (it should be around 40,000) and in my defense the british did have the most powerful navy in the world at that time period. Still I will probably nock it down a bit.

Bah I am finally going to set up production rates. Okay so I am post industrial revolution america... I would say 50 tanks a year 75 fixed wing aircraft 100 ships and 7,000 infantry a year should be reasonable. EDIT: I will start with 225 fixed wing aircraft 200 war ships and 40,000 infantry a year as well as 7 air ships.
  19. I'm doing the urk orz's but there are few parts of them that I really want and the matter cannon is the only part of the ship that I want.
  20. Its not quite dead yet. Anyways I am fortifying the islands that I got from sere and Starting the reverse engineering of the tech in the ships/exo suits. Also where did the strange matter bombs that I sent to the sephar system go?
  21. I am starting a massive effort to rebuild citites on the land that I bought from sere now that I have the people to populate it with. Simply put I am starting a 7 year campaign that will rebuild infrastructure and create factories/entire cities, this will consume roughly 750 billion dollars a year.
  22. Wow...I think I will not be playing as soldier any time soon... (just checked the update) http://www.teamfortress.com/war/victory/ EDIT: That reminds me I have a guest pass to give out...
  23. or hide in the tunnels as a demo man...
  24. See we all just saved you a whole lot of time and anguish ;) .
  25. I'd say that it would depend upon the gun in question. Probably the easiest to aim would be a bolt action rifle with a laser pointer strapped to the barrel (put the red dot on the nose fore head goes boom!) But then again I have no real knowledge of firearms and so I will be the crazy guy with a dump truck... EDIT: Sorry meant a garbage truck but a dump truck would work as well...
