Dungeoneering
After regaining his sight grim attempts to throw carefully aimed fireballs at the dogs.

Dungeoneering
Grim starts attempting to throw fireballs blindly in the general vicinity of ares. While he does that he blinks rappidly in an effort to regain his sight.
-
Dungeoneering
Realizing the futility of that attack grim sets his sights upon the god and again trys to throw a fire ball at it.
-
Dungeoneering
Grim mutters [bleep] it and then uses his staff to try and throw a fire-ball at whatever was at the top of the pillar.

Oh yay! Tighter airport security
It depends which smaller airports. Some airports open up your suitcases and search them completely because... I don't know, their equipment fails or something. Though I doubt this happens in the US. One in the lehigh valley and the other one was Sacramento (The capitol of California [granted that was on christmas day though])

Hegemony Argument Thread
Yes there is a limit but it also takes time for the ships to be built under that system. However also that system accounts for the resources you do not buy yourselves and instead import (it takes down the cost of the ship but not its build time).

Hegemony Argument Thread
I was complaining because the logistics of it were impossible. The whole game is built around building bigger and badder toys, though. I agree it's kind of stupid that everyone thinks their stuff is unbeatable, but that's [bleep]ing human nature. You want a system where people accept it as universal truth so there's no arguing. But there will always be arguing, especially since this all text/imagination based, and all our ideas are different and we don't have a game engine that forces us to play a certain way. Just for the record I know my things are not unbeatable they just take a slightly unorthodox defense... On topic while I agree that there will always be arguments on the thread I think we can have several systems. One would be the pp system. Another would be the monetary system in which if you have a sufficent number of shipyards and cash you can build whatever the hell you want. The third... Well I havent thought of a third yet.

Retech there does not have to be a universal system. I use a monetary system because it is simplest for me (capitalism ftw! ). However if you have a society that does not use money then you would have to use a moral or pp based system.

~ The Arena ~
I simply fly into the air ((I still have the wings remember)) the aura flares but currently I have no targets... Bored grim starts juggling explosive flaming battle axes...

Honestly I am going monetarily based... But I take off almost all of the cost of the mateirials simply because I have close to 1,000 asteroid miners and 4 mining colonies working round the clock. Speaking of which I am now expanding mining operations on said colonies.

[bleep] it I am disregarding the production point system. I am instead going back to my old system of a certain number of ships per five years. EDIT:@Dusty: Kekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekeke!

Also this is my number of X-304s: 835! - Just felt like posting it. you do realize that through conventional methods (Think coilgun) it is impossible to get anything close too or faster than the speed of light.

Oh yay! Tighter airport security
I was surprised at the lack of security in between smaller airports... To put it in perspective my father accidentally brought a pocket knife in his carry-on and no-one said a thing.

Actually He may own some duna... I know me sere and ross at least are sharing a duna producing planet (It appeared right at my door step) On a side note how should I calculate the time for tachyon travel? I was thinking Time= .25years + ( lightyears/250) + .25 years + .5 years Would that work?

:o so with my multi purpose ships (battle ships) I can produce 20 from a station and wait 3 years (specified time from archi for some balance of transformation) and then have 20 production stations. Seems a bit overpowered but I am not going to complain... Wait, what did Archi do? That's not how it works. A single station producing another station would take 25 years. Okay my multi purpose ships were my colony ships and had several other uses (Ie. really bad battle ships and production stations) if you want I can alter the ship cost but that would be it's "note" so I would only be willing to make it say... 300 pp at maximum. EDIT: Disregard said statement...

Pest control
what give you the [bleep]ing right to call me a nooob you [bleep] the fact that youve actually come into a rant proves my point about how much of a [bleep]ing [bleep] you peram pc's are. so please [bleep] off. Hate to point this out but killing brawlers does make you at least appear to be an inexperienced player (take that as you will). On a side note if you essentially scream obscenities you are not helping your case...

Eh, my space fleet is pretty damn strong. The way I have it set up currently is so that 3/4 of my stations are making ships, then 50 are set aside for making stations and any stations that 50 make will make more stations and so on. Originally it was 3/4 on station building, but now I'm focusing on getting my fleet bigger. I don't think anyone could really stand a chance against my fleet, except for things pulled out of nowhere (random events like the orz) Okay so the average station takes 200 pp right? The average battle ship costs 50 pp? So for the cost of 3 years after production I can produce a station that gives out 200 pp a year for 50 pp... Also while my earth fleet would not be able to stand up to your fleet my total fleet (from every system) would be able to at least put up a good fight.

Mutually Assured Dusty Never mind I will have to overcome my laziness. On a side note the only person who could possibly stand up to you right now would be doom. Though I can call you a young whippersnapper because I have been in this game slightly longer than you. PS. Malaysian scientists with the aid of industrial presses and several other tools have succeeded in folding a piece of paper 10 times (It is unkown if they were under the influence of certain chemicals at the time though this is supported by a lack of hemp and cheetos at the testing facility)

Hey dusty could you post a link? Also the malaysian empire has bought that valuable form of entertainment and the money has been wired to your account. On a side note I use nanites to keep control over my prisoners. Simply if they try to escape they are knocked out, if on parole they they commit a crime (or are suspected to have) then POW! they are knocked out, and if the prisoners try to riot they are knocked out. It also occasionally happens that when the prison guards are bored they knock the people out as well.

Just for the record your people can get all the hemp they want (within reason of course).

Tavern Tussle
I land the C.S.S. Longcat on mathers roof and then open the doors. A flood of mudkips come out and eat your face.

A plot on nova lux is being given as an embassy. Also you will have all the gold and hemp that you need for the building of said embassy.
