  1. I don't know if this is information is anywhere else on the forum, but it seemed to be missing (or I stupidly missed it myself!) from the RC skill guide. Few questions: 1) Is it possible to craft Soul Runes? 2) What level RC do you need? 3) Where is the altar? Thanks guys :
  2. ZOMG You went the WRONG way?!??!??!?!?!? :?: :? :!:
  3. I do hate that! In the UK we call the first storey the ground floor, the second storey the first floor... its nonsensical! It should be first level=first floor. It probably comes from Victorian Brits, being a prim and proper and calling it the "first floor above ground level", and "second floor above ground" etc. Which over time got shortened to just 1st floor, 2nd floor, etc. So now, its silly, floor "zero" is the first level, floor 1 is the second level etc, bonkers.
  4. I'm pretty sure that's only in the stubborn US :P
  5. LOL, tenuous at best.... But I'm very inclined to agree! The UK could go metric, yes it would be expensive, but not impossible, and think of the jobs it would give people!!! Driving on the other side of the road however would be much harder. BUT combining the two in one fell swoop, would be far more effective, because you'd need to change all the signs anyway. Think of the one way systems  ! As for joining the Euro, I'm not inclined one way or the other. I DO think however that the British "one foot in, one foot out" policy needs to be stamped out by the rest of the EU. Either all in (Euro and Metric!) or all out (pound and imperial).
  6. The metric system is part of a whole caboodle called the SI unit system, it stands for Sistéme Internationale (or something like that, its French). This is probably the reason why the Brits have been so resistant to it! SI: Time in seconds, length in meters, mass in kilograms, temperature in Kelvin (not centigrade/celsius!), amount of substance in moles (dammed chemistry!), current in Amp(ere)s light intensity in candela (not that anyone EVER uses that unit). All other things that you can measure will be made up of a combination of those units, for example, speed is distance divided by time, so it will be measured in meters per second. The metric system is the way to go. All proper science - with perhaps the exception of some American institutions - is done in metric. Yes, the UK does use both, but look what using both does: Beagle 2, Mars Climate Orbiter. Enough said. The whole world should be SI, and sooner rather than later.
  7. Yeah, my range is rubbish -.- I think I'll try and get it to 60, then take on barrows? Thanks for the help :
  8. Hi guys, my stats are in my signature, I was wondering if I'm too weak to take on barrows? Any advice? (Preferably that doesn't involve buying expensive items :shame: ) Thanks :
  9. I had no idea I was gonna open such a can of worms!! This is the reason we need a comprehensive "bible" for RS.
  10. Hey guys, the Varrock Museum page is in need of an update I think. The max kudos is now 173 rather than 163 (I think). And there are more display cases, especially now that they took my prophecy tablet.... methinks future quests will provide the other four.... :D
  11. I've actually got a Theoretical Physics degree lol 0 dimensional, is a dot with no size. It is a figment of your imagination. Think of this full stop here >>>.<<< this is a dot, but it does have a very small area. Now imagine shrinking it, smaller and smaller. The area gets smaller. Then take a leap, and shrink it so much that it has no area. Voilá, your zero dimensional "thing" has arrived. Now, imagine extending this dot put putting a dot next to it, then add another one next to the one you have just added, repeat over and over..... what do you get? A one dimensional object.... ie a line!! Repeat this dot-adding process but now with the lines.... add one next to the one before, this time you get a two dimensional object... a sheet...! One again you can stack these sheets next to one another and get a 3 dimensional volume. Higher spatial dimensions are VERY difficult to conceptualize. Four dimensional "cubes" exist, they are called hyper-cubes. A line has two "corners", a square has 4 corners, a cube 8, and a hypercube has 16... although where they all go is a mystery to me! (a five dimensional cube has 2 to the power of 5 (thats 32) corners, and the pattern continues, so for an N dimensional cube, there are 2 to the power N corners...) String theory has 5 different incarnations, but adding an extra dimension combines them all into a theory called M-theory, which has 10 space dimensions and 1 time dimension. Its mad, I hate it. There is a Physics theory out there that works in MINUS 2 dimensions.... but don't ask me how the hell that works.... OK, geekfest over :ugeek:
  12. I tend to go (as almost everyone has said) XP lamp every time.... but I can't help thinking "what if" with the mystery boxes..... Has anyone gone for that option and get anything good? I've tried it a couple of times but didn't get anything spectacular (mith scimitar for example).
  13. I've had a brainwave: tip.it should give you a suggested order of completing the quests you have left over! For example, not just tree following, but ones that might be most helpful/useful for other, later quests. And it should also not let you tick off quests on the quest list, if you haven't already ticked off the pre-requisites.... Just extra spices to the Quest diagram soup
  14. LOL, I can completely understand why you've demolished your entire house, mine looks very very randomly arranged. I think such a helper would be very useful!! :D However I don't think I'd be as extreme as to demolish my entire house..... :o
  15. *hums the themetune* But is that *THE* Springfield of yellow four-fingered fame?
  16. See, this is the reason why we need a definitive Pantheon for our runescape gods : There's so much floating around that is inaccurate! A "God Catalogue" please Big High Tipit Gods  Does anyone know what these gods actually look like?
  17. Hi guys, I was just wondering if there is any compendium on God mythology of Runescape on Tipit? If there isn't someone should make one :) Saradomin Guthix Zamorak Iban Bandos etc If there is, can someone direct me to it please :) Thanks :
  18. Ooh, sounds great  *waits anxiously* 8-) Any... erm... snippits of info as to cool extra features :?:
  19. Hey guys, Was just noticing that the World map on Tip.it is beginning to become out of date. There are places missing: Ooglog (or however you spell it!), Soul wars island, certain quest start points/dungeon icons seem to be missing or not very well placed. Its not a massive problem, it hasn't really affected me in any way, except when I stumbled upon Ooglog and I thought I'd discovered somewhere new that no-one had seen for a moment lol! Any scope for an update? Or is it simply too much hassle?
  20. I can't yet, I only have 48 agility.... I need 56 :( Is there no other way?
  21. Hey guys, I just completed Underground Pass, and want to get into Tirannwn. Can I? How do I get there? I've tried going through Iban's lair, but it won't let me in. Am I sposed to take some other route? Do I need the staff? Just a bit lost, help please :) Thanks!
