  1. Are you just going for vyre corpses or do you want to go for the rewards more, because if you narrow it down I can help you more as I have a little over 200 runs on this and am currently making a guide in the AOW beginners forum for how to make money off of this fun minigame.
  2. I will add a tanking setup eventually, but I'm gonna need someone to help me with that cause I can't effectively tank in this minigame yet and I don't really like to tele out of an event unless I'm dying cause then that drops you profit per hour by quite a bit. If your willing to help me test some things, just pm me ingame.
  3. [hide=banner][/hide] [hide=WARNING!!!!!!]This minigame can get very dangerous especially on routes 2 and 3, because if you die during any of the events of the minigame you WILL lose all of your items, except for your 3 most valuable items(all of the events are instances and thus your gravestone will not appear on death).[/hide] Hi fellow tip.iters, I have been using this method for a while now to make some money and have found much enjoyment from doing so. I have therefore decided to create this guide to help all those out there, that are having a hard time making money and wish to make some, while having fun with one of the more under-rated minigames in runescape. The best part about this method is that there is no competition and can on a more consistent basis get 350k+/hr(when compared to green dragons, handy for a different and fun way to make money). [hide=little about myself]I am 18 have been playing runescape since rs classic came out. Since then I have lost my original account back in 2004 and have made my account Thragon13. I always had a hard time making money on runescape, but I have been able to make enough to get basic gear needed for most situations. This is going to be my first official guide I have made so comments and support would be nice.[/hide] Table of Contents 1. What is Burgh de Rott ramble? 2. How to get there? 3. Requirements 4. Setup 5. What you will encounter 6. The Methods and items to keep 7. rewards and profit 8. credits [hide=1. What is Burgh de Rott ramble?]Burgh de Rott ramble is a minigame that takes place in mort myre swamp. You begin by the temple Paterdomus where you meet 6 npc's that you can choose to escort to Burgh de Rott. They are coded with a color that tells you how hard they are to escort. Blue cape: easy, Yellow cape: medium, and Red cape: hard. The blue cape npc's have the highest health and can readily defend themselves most of the time and so they require little aid. The yellow cape npc's have a little less health and can defend themselves very little, and thus they will need some of your assistance. The red cape npc's have very little health and can't defend themselves at all and they will require lots of help and food. After you have chosen which of the six you wish to escort, you then have to choose a route out of 3. Again even these routes are color coded the same way, for difficulty, blue=easy, yellow=medium, red=hard. I will go into detail the events you will encounter in a later section. If you manage to safely escort the npc then you will receive color coded reward tokens(more on these later) that you can exchange to get a random reward.[/hide] [hide=2. How to get there?] *note, these are just methods of getting there to begin doing trips not for repeated usage during, except for the House Teletab and use your house portal to canifis* Yellow path-Varrock bank: just a simple walk east of varrock to paterdomus and either going under the temple or if you have 65 agility you can use the shortcut to go around the southern side of the temple and end up right by the start of the mini game. Pink path-Ring of Slaying: simply just teleport to the slayer tower with the ring and walk south straight to the starting point. Green path-Ectophial: telly to the ectofuntus, walk west to canifis and bank if needed and then continue onto the starting point. Red path-House Canifis portal: this is the best method for speed and efficiency as you can recharge your prayer in your house and the house portal drops you right next to a bank.[/hide] [hide=3. Requirements]For this method there are gonna be quite a few quest and skill requirements so if you haven't done many quests or just don't like them, then don't continue on. Quests: Priest in peril Nature Spirit Desert Treasure In Search of the Myreque In Aid of the Myreque Darkness of Hallowvale Legacy of Seergaze Required Skills: 43+ prayer 90+ combat (w/o summoning) 50 construction for portals and altar 66 magic Recommended Skills: 60+ prayer 100+ combat (w/o summoning)[/hide] [hide=4. Setup]Gear: Helm: Any snelm* > Helm of Neitznot > Proselyte helmet > Initiate helmet Cape: Fire > trimmed skillcape > God cloak >skill/obby Amulet: Fury > Glory Weapon: Whip > dragon scimitar Body: Bandos plate > Proselyte plate > Initiate plate Shield: Falador shield 3-2 > Spirit shield > Rune defender Legs: Bandos tasset > Proselyte legs > Initiate Legs Gloves: Best RFD gloves > Combat bracelet Boots: Dragon boots > Rune boots > White boots Ring: Explorer's ring 1-3 > Ring of life > Berserker ring > Warrior ring The reason being for having the high prayer boost is so that if you run into trouble during one of the events you can pray piety or use a protect prayer for a longer amount of time and considering how you will be recharging prayer at your house you can even use it to speed up your events. *When not in a snail combat event you can decide to use another inventory spot for another better prayer/combat helm if you wish.* Inventory: The items in the red boxes are required in order to beat any and all of the events that you encounter while doing this minigame. I have EE (enhanced excalibur) for specing to save on some food. The holy wrench is optional, but I strongly suggest having at least 1 prayer pot with you at all times in case you need to pray piety in order to save your follower from a monster or if you need to pray for a longer time than what your prayer level can sustain you for. I typically use tuna's to heal with because they are quite cheap and you also can give them to your follower before each trip thus saving you time in the long run on banking. Make sure that you keep generally between 4-8 inventory spaces open for drops or items used to complete each event. For food it's up to you really on how much you wish to spend on your own personal healing, but with tuna's you can keep the costs down to less than 10k-20k/hr. It's up to you whether you want a dds for some of the events such as the tentacle beast because more inventory spaces=more money. [/hide] [hide=5. What you will encounter] The events that you encounter can be split into two types: 1. Non-combat 2. Combat I have found that the more combat events you get, more often than not, you will get better rewards. Non combat challenges usually present you with an obstacle that you have to get past in order to move on. Enough of this though lets get on with what you will encounter. I. Non-Combat Events 1. Abidor Crank This event you run into a kind man by the name of Abidor Crank. He will heal your health by some and if its close enough, it will go over the max, as well as boosting your defence level. If you got attacked by some ghast's without filled druid pouch and some of your food became rotten, then he will also turn all rotten food into stews for you. 2. The Bog In this event you have to cross the bog in front of you. In order to test the firmness of the bog you need to get some sticks from the thorny bush that is next to you. In order to do so you have to take a knife and on it and you will get a random number of sticks in your inventory. To test the space in front of you, all you have to do is use a stick on the square in front of you. only walk on squares that are "firm" as anything else will cause you to fall into the bog and put you back to the start. Keep doing this until you get across and your follower will quickly cross over to you. 3. Vine River Crossing This obstacle has you at a river and you must figure out how to cross it. The first thing to note is that if you did not bring a knife with you, there is a backpack lying nearby that contains a knife. Now that you have a knife you need to use it on the tree that has 3 vines hanging from it. Once you have three pieces of vine, use one piece on another to get a vine rope. You must then use the rope on the long branch of the tree that is hanging over the water. You must then RIGHT click the vine and use the option to swing across to the other side. After your follower does the same you may continue on your path. 4. Broken Bridge with and without trees W/trees For this event you need a hatchet(for those of you who did not bring one you can kill the wandering zombie to obtain one). You must go chop down the trees nearby to get 3 logs. Once you have these, EQUIP your hatchet and then use the logs one after the other on the bridge until it is fixed. Then you must right click and choose the option to walk-across. W/O trees This is similar to the previous event but instead of getting logs, you must kill the undead lumberjacks that come out of the river. They drop planks and in order to move on you need 3 to fix the bridge. Another thing is that the undead lumberjacks, each time can drop a random piece of the coveted lumberjack outfit. They will only drop one piece and of the outfit each time time you get this event. Other than that the event works the same way. 5. The Campsite The campsite is a unique event in being it can turn into a combat event if you don't act in time. Based on which follower type you chose to go with you, there are more people at the campsite(blue follower=3 people, yellow follower=4 people, and red follower=5 people). In order to complete this event you need to feed a piece of food to each person before they turn into ghast's. You have one of two options, give them food from your inventory or kill the nearby snails and cook their meat. For speed-wise its better to just feed them food from your own inventory, but also if you need to conserve better food then you can get the snail meat, start a fire to cook it and give it to them one at a time. You have less than 3 minutes to do this in before the people turn into ghast's.[/hide] [hide=6. The Method and items to keep]coming soon![/hide] [hide=7. 4. I'm tired of all the usual methods, I want something different with good exp (at least 65k atk exp/hr) if at all possible at least 100k/hr. thanks and i will check this in the moring.
  5. I'm only gonna comment on firemaking as it is my highest skill plus I'm working on getting it to 99. The most efficient method for training it is burning maples with the ring of fire and fire gloves on, but the fastest way is magic log but costs something like 31.5m from my current exp while its a little under 2-2.5m for maple logs. Hope this helps.
  6. Yeah well I have been there since lvl 82 atk and now im getting close to 84 and I went there 2 days ago.
  7. Im currently using full void melee at lvl 80 skeletons in shadow dungeon and just wanted to know of any other places to train other than that and AZ's... thank you in advance
  8. Also if your more interested in faster exp for hunter than you can trap red salamanders as they are the best exp til 80, in which case red chinchompas become better exp and money
  9. Yeah well for one the parents of those penguins are trying to take over runescape, just thought I would point this out.
  10. Topic says it all just wanted to know the exp per hour.
  11. Hmm...I don't have anything to expensive as I only have about 5m in cash right now so can anyone recommend a good crush atk weapon for me? Thank You
  12. Just wanted to know since i just got a task of em.
  13. For the safes do you have a stethoscope in your inventory? That may be the reason you fail so often.
  14. I find for best exp doing pp you steal from all of the gold chests and when you get to your second to highest room then you check for snakes in all the pots and in the last room you loot all of the pots. Gets me close to 10k exp a round.
  15. Just want to know the exp rates for the different methods of thieving training at my lvl thank you all for your help in advance
  16. Yeah profit is like the high 60's and breaking even is at about 65.
  17. Ape Atoll is the fastest til you can do gnome, with the update you dont need any super energies anymore at ape atoll at around lvl 70.
  18. I just want to know the fastest EXP possible for it not going for profit as i have plenty of money to work with.
  19. I support this idea as it will help everyone in f2p get more interested in training some of there skills higher and would be a good selling point for them to go p2p as you would have access to antifirepots and such making this a little easier. supported...
  20. Just started doing this today and within like 3-4 i got up about 3 almost 4 thieving lvls. 10/10
  21. learn to read the ops post before responding, he said he is getting the money for his armour...
