With Jagex hosting real life events now, it seems Runescape has more life than ever. I don't expect it to fully die down within a decade, barring a huge shift in the gaming market or stupid decisions made by Jagex. Just because there is a real life event doesn't mean there will be anybody going to it. You have got to be one of the most cynical posters on these forums. Who wouldn't want to go? If I lived in the London area I know I would go. You get to meet the creators, see a bunch of concept art, in person Q&A, get to talk about runescape with people who aren't little kids. Plus they're gonna be serving drinks which sounds great to me :thumbsup: With any luck they'd be RS themed too ( I want to try a real Greenman's Ale) On topic: Most of all the reason why RS will be around for a while have already been stated but I'll just throw in my two cents and agree that it will be bearing some catastrophic event like: 1. jagex makes a better game/source of income 2.Another game comes out that draws massive amounts of RS players away. 3. Some update jagex makes and refuses to budge on makes MASSIVE people quit for good 4. or (god forbid) something tragic happens like Andrew passes away, becomes a vegetable or something terrible like that.

Bit of an eclectic Nech task, the rune 2h and one of the pairs of boots were back to back. Two snap seeds and a lanty in there too. D med came toward the end. All in all around 600 some odd k of loot

Bonecrusher could be useful for slayer tasks like blue drags where if you're like me and dont have 96 sum yet you're just burying them on the spot. They're so weak and easy to kill it becomes a hassle to keep up with bone burying and keeping a healthy killing pace.

You really don't know much about computers, do you? Unless they can guess your password, they can't hack your account without first infecting your computer. (Unless you tell someone IRL, or use your RS password as a forum password and they get it there.) They can't just magically pull your pass out of their arse, although that is where you pull your info. Kinda been done talking about this for a while... anyway [hide][/hide] no more greenman's ales for my extreme strs :thumbsup:

No direct affect on me since I only use RSOF for Canada's penguin threads. I can see how this will for one, confuse a lot of people, and two, frustrate and put a lot of people off from using them again. Long live TIF!

Jagex kept the game "balanced" on the issue of extremes when they banned them from pvp/minigames (whole other rant, kneeling to the complainers etc...) so allowing BoBs to carry them would be a fair trade from that nerfing. I support and will even up the ante to say they should be notable too, I've got around 3k spec restore(4)'s that will forever be in my bank because I: 1. never use them, and 2. don't want to take the time to drop/empty all of them. Also you can't split (4) potions into (2)'s so if I want to take some half filled potions on a dragon slayer task so I can drop the vials for inventory space, I better have some already because otherwise....SOL.

No, it really isn't. Just don't play. When you think "I want to play RS!", do something else. Get and xbox or ps3 or something. Go out with friends. Play flash games, watch videos. Anything except RS. Replacing Rs with other video games doesn't seem to me to be any improvement, and if you're gonna waste time on flash games you may as well be playing RS where your progress amounts to something over time.

Ever since I got my fire cape It's the only cape I've been wearing for combat/slayer. Before that it was my defense cape, I don't think i've ever actually worn an obby cape =s but that's just 'cause I was too cheap to buy one when they were the best alternative to a legends.

Finally got me a fire cape :thumbsup: Been trying since the fight caves came out, too bad i had to wait til ancient curses the slayer full helm and enchanted bolts before my noobness could take 'em down.

Weird glitch from switching from safe mode to high detail and then resizable from standard. I could walk around and move camera like normal but with obvious restrictions.

Let's have another compromise then; spend all your remaining slayer points and never get any more nor ever have access to updated content. That way people who can't seem to deal with the updates wont. On a serious note, I bought the auto kill the first time i visited Kuradal for a new task. A long over due ability. I haven't gotten any gargs yet though <_< But! I finally got a chance to take on Jad for slayer xp so I try yet again for a fire cape. I'm glad I got a focus and hex to make my own full helm to use. This time I will be victorious, and of course ready for 93 slayer no matter how many points I have.

That's more legs that I've ever gotten in 7k+ Metal dragon kills, without counting Bronzes. And it's only "decent". I hate you :evil: I've had plenty of trips with nothing, it was partly why i quit slayer for a while, absolutely no drops for ages. You must understand though, i say decent because even though triple legs is a freak of a task it doesn't come close to the net gain of other tasks i've had. Say, the time I got 3 whips in one task. Right now 3 D legs doesn't even cover the price of one whip.

Task of 68 steel drags. Not a visage but decent.

Anyway, first dark beast task had two bow drops. This is the second (and second to last kill too) which was nice since i've found out they're a pain to kill. Might as well get something good out of them. :roll:

I dont know about that Fremnnik-Void Knight connection. To make them the same symbol the fremnnik one has to be reversed. As you can see on the shield it looks like an "S". But the symbol on the Knight is clearly a mirror image of the shield symbol. I will give it though that the symbol on the shield is very serpentine.

Pray melee and afk :thumbup: Could I get by with a pony and some melee armor?
