  1. Got this last night  Any tips on killing dark beasts?
  2. Got these over the past few days. Finally getting around to posting. And this; thought it would be a bit longer before I got it but I used up most of my charms and went for it. Had enough greens left to make about 20 ponies with scrolls
  3. EDIT: I spoke to a tree within sight of people crossing a log- obelisk right next to gnome stronghold spirit tree. On the D&D it's self, the raw shard collecting could be more interesting, it's not that hard to avoid the familiars that are after you, just keep going around in a big circle picking up all you see. Pretty easy to get all 60 for me but i'm not sure if your summoning level affects your resistance to damage. And triple charms is pretty nice if you have a waterfiend task ready to go. I got 201 crimsons (67 crim drops) before the 40 min was up, not to mention 6 blue and 15-21 of each gold and green. Not earth shaking but nice for those collecting crimsons. Only triple and for only 40 mins keeps it from being overpowered but it's the once a week that makes it from being really usefull. i think twice a week would be fair, but then again I dont get to make the rules.
  4. Certainly! not very efficiently though. I have a friend who's a skiller with ten 99s, no ranked combat skills (he is level 23 cb to be fair) and all other skills 92+ with the exception of slayer, which is level 68 purely from xp lamps from randoms.
  5. I've gotten such bad loot from slayer recently (minus the hex) I dont know whether to laugh or cry about this
  6. you have to have both (at the same time) to make a full slayer helm?
  7. Just got this on my first jungle strykewyrm task, anyone got advice on whether to sell/keep/hang on to it and sell it later/ or try to sell on the streets? I never slay with magic so i dont really want to add it to my slay helm and just an after thought: minus the hex the loot from 98 was about 250k. Awesome
  8. I can't recall exactly what they had on but they were dressed the same that's for sure.
  9. Jagex humor Also, what the fudge? I think they were a married couple.
  10. Uh..... your farming invy has no organization? :-P  Seriously tho, did your screen put on like pentafocals? haha
  11. yes... yes I will. hopefully they will give the same feeling i get when i hear the "S" word.
  12. One more obscure hint that transitively leads to sailing....
  13. Had no Idea these guys showed up on F2p worlds
  14. Fun in F2p.. I miss membs, I need to get back to farming.
  15. I'd imagine the IRS would have a few questions. What if humans could see sound waves instead of light?
  16. I'd imagine we'd need more gas masks. What if everyone got one actual wish?
  17. Banned for hating on math
  18. Granted, it's a urinal cake! I wish i could draw.
  19. Here's pretty much my only oldie pic left for anyone who's feeling nostalgic, This is from a little while after farming first came out, also the first and only time i've seen a JaGex mod in game ( he's to the right of me in plain black and bald, I have the white hair and glory and legends, best cape ever), I was excited haha.
  20. This is the whole point of this high level update. Combat and Skilling are not meant to completely separate in any sort. Why do you think players with high combat in RSC trained their mining and smithing high enough to make rune items?
  21. HOOOOOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No.. not hooray. This just means more people will just steal your spawns instead of being courteous and switching servers. Not sure but I think this may be dealing with Mini-games rather than day to day combat stuff.
  22. Ok here goes: Main tab: Money, tokkul, trading sticks, most basic tools, mining/smithing/crafting supplies/ enchanted jewlery, random and quest item stuff 1st tab: Magic stuff (runes, staves, robes) 2nd tab:Ranged stuff( hide armor, arrows, bows, etc.) 3rd tab: Melee stuff ( armor, weapons, glories and wealths) 4th tab: Summoning stuff ( charms, pouches/scrolls, seconds) 5th tab: Herblaw stuff (potions, herbs, seconds, vials, and partial used potions) 6th tab: Farming stuff ( seeds, tools, tree seeds/ products, tree roots) 7th tab: Hunter stuff (the few hunter related stuff I have) 8th tab: Thieving stuff (lock picks, pyramid plunder artifacts) Well there it is! Hope I didn't bore you to death. haha
  23. [hide=] Hey aren't you the guy that said summoning would involve ashes? i laughed really hard irl and got milk on my dask, thanks :wall: [/hide] Hey to be fair they said a long time ago that summoning was supposed to be more akin to dark arts, summoning skeletons, demons and the like to fight for you. On topic night and day may be a possibility but as for the actual function for the new interface slot I think the idea of timers for the various things that are daily or the farming clock to be visible is pretty plausible.
  24. It's all luck and depends on the total amount of seeds you plant, really. If you plant 50 seeds you could have a really bad couple of runs that result in those 50 seeds only averaging like 5.5 herbs each. But if you plant a good 500+ seeds you'll notice that the bad runs will always be negated by the great runs and you'll most likely end up with 6.5 herbs per seed. It's true that you need to farm a lot of seeds before you really see this all begin to happen. That's why when someone with a low farming level or who has admitted they don't plant many herb seeds says that herb farming is bad cash I don't take them seriously. Anyone who has really done their fair share of the farming of herbs knows about the average herbs per seed. For sure, I found my average herb to seed ratio to be about 6.5/1 over many many seeds. I started playing not too long before slayer was introduced and when farming came out I loved it from the beginning because i've always been into herblore a lot too, can't explain it just am, :D . I love growing my own herbs and making potions out of them, way more than I ever did collecting them from monster drops. I feel envious of people who start farming and herblore at the same time now, I never had so much trouble collecting low level supplies as when I was killing druids for guams haha -.-
  25. Also, whenever anyone says something about dying herbs they mention toadflax like it never dies. Maybe it's just me but it seems to me that my toadflax have been biting the dust more often than they used to, sometimes 2/5 on consecutive runs. anyone else having this problem from time to time? Farming ftw :
