Yeah it was a big deal the first week with everyone and their mom posting a SGA on the reddit page. I also just dug through the weekly hot fix posts on bungie.net and it looks like they only patched the ship issue, so the ship is just a random reward, but the shader and emblem appear to hold true to requiring a free slot. Going to have an opportunity to play tomorrow for the first time in like 2 weeks, I'm super excited, I've got the itch.

My unofficial, just now math, says 66+ hours for this week and if my understanding of California's double OT law is right, I also nailed 2.5 hours of double OT today. Also is anyone planning on trying out the Black Ops 3 beta? I thought about it, but the more i see game-play of BO3 the more i lose interest. I think BO3 is overhyped purely because it's a Treyarch game, and everyone is expecting another BO2. I expect BO3 to be the same disaster AW is/was.The game looks pretty terrible at the moment. Yeah, I really liked the BoI. Got platinum god but haven't actually touched Rebirth. Honestly surprised Rebirth got on the 3ds Eshop I've been watching BoI on Youtube for the past 2 years or something. For some reason i never bothered getting it. It's kind of a bad thing, because i know more or less what everything does but i have no personal experience with it. So i play far to risky for my current skill level. Deaths have been plenty. What part of Ops 3 looks bad? (sorry not sorry for the double post)

So I officially worked 71 hours 44 mins last week. My max hours available this week are already down to 60, but I'm ok with that.

The first week of Destiny's release I was always one of the highest leveled players walking around the tower because I played so much pvp to start, to the point I to stop grinding bounties because I was blowing through story missions playing with my brother who was at the recommended levels per level. I don't remember If they've fixed this or not, but if your emblems & shader slots are full you won't be rewarded the emblem or shader + ship.

Yeah the lack of checkpoints had the same effect on myself too, so even though I had reached 33/34 in the first two weeks after the expansions release on all 3 of my characters, I didn't want to find myself having to give up a bulk of time for nothing. I still don't enjoy run it, because I'd rather be doing something else but my buddy is really determined to get the scout rifle with a void burn.

Skolas isn't horribly hard, like the first time we did it, we completed it with only one wipe because we needed to learn the method of it so the whole 35 PoE took us no more then 45 minutes. The second time we tried, our third teammate was awful and we wiped like 30 times before I had to give up to go to sleep, total time spent in that PoE was like 3 hours. The biggest challenge is the perks/burns for that week, so if ads have the aggressive one where they don't flinch, that sucks, if their melee is increased, that sucks. So it's really how well you and your team can adapt and work together. It's just annoy that if you are on a time crunch and you hit that mark where you have to given up, you lose all your progress because of the lack of checkpoints. It's only 17! (the Last Word was 23 last Friday). Weekly heroic strikes, and prison of elders will get you that in no time. I got 70 strange coins from last Saturday to this morning, but 12 were from Nightfall... Primary exotics are 23 coins, secondary & heavies are 17.

I never really understood why they lower/removed the Husk of Pit drop rate and the random swords of rota that would spawn around the moon and old russia.

You could move items around on the iOS app, or there is a awesome chrome extension, Destiny Item Manager v3, that makes moving items crazy easy. Black Hammer will still be OP after the nerf and IB will become a glorified special ammo generator for BH.

I've been busy with work this week so I haven't had time to get any Destiny in, but I can usually finish all but the melee bounty and the 2 heavy bounties by the time I finish that earn 10k xp bounty. If I don't get the 10 kill streak one within the first 3 games, it's almost guaranteed that I'll be at it for another 2 hours before I can get it.

The iPhone finder is great, I used it a couple years ago to find my phone at a tweaker motel in Palms Spring after it was stolen from our hotel room in the middle of the night, which is also extra weird because we were in there, but that's another story. Shitty yours wasn't turned on though, but it also doesn't work if the phone is turned off.

I kind of like the extra stability I have on my Party Crasher because it feels more in control for that second shot if you've going 1v2 around a corner, but my Matador also has full auto and lucky in the chamber too, which is always fun. I forget what it's called but the HM Crota ship is one of my favorites because it looks like a flying dragon, but in comparison to the release ships, all the expansion ones look way better. I currently have Birth of History (the IB ship) on my main, VoG on my Warlock, and that fancy PoE one on my titan.

At 26, I still bike as much as possible, but currently I'm limited to cycling around my neighborhood on my days off, so to make up for it, I skateboard to and from my office and the parking garage.

What shotgun are you using Saru? I've been trying out both the Madator and Party Crasher, both seem to be great for that quick slide/long range kill.

:o I've actually not heard of the 4th horsemen. I got my Thorn a few weeks back. My main goal now is Black Hammer and Ice Breaker. For the record: how high was Bungie when they released the Dark Below? I mean, Crota's End is pretty great, but everything else is just... what? Grind out a thousand bounties for the chance to get... an Embalming Orb at like Rnk 4. Nice. I would point my brother at this thread if he still had any interest in Tip.It. He's on XBone but I think he's got a pretty permanent group set up. meanwhile I'm learning everything about the game's meta through osmosis, somehow. Thorn bad, Gjallahorn good, something like that Sith <3 Yeah Thorn used to be pretty terrible, but now it's op. Sooo OP. but my KDR shot up up up the moment I got one. Too bad everything is getting nerfed :( You also got to miss the Dark Below's horrible exotic upgrade system, which cost you an exotic shard + 7k glimmer to upgrade and then you had to regrind the gun's experience. The 4th Horsemen is another one of the PS4's exclusives. It's an Arc shotgun that shoots 4 rounds like lightning quick. It destroys on Arc burns. But one of the best piece of advise I can give to anyone having trouble finding a raid team is to use a site like DestinyLFG.net and make a post to form a new party. It's so much faster finding people by saying "Need 5" "Need 2" then it is to join a random party.

Hawkmoon is great, it takes some slight adjusting to get used to if you're used to using Thorn, but in a one-on-one battle I feel like Hawkmoon has the edge especially if you get one of those lucky in the chamber/Holding Ace bullets for a one shot precision kill. Thorn is still great though, I split my time between the two hand cannons, Red Death and Multitool. The most underrated exotic is 4th horsemen and it just happens to be the only one I don't have yet. :(

I've played Destiny regularly since it's release, but I'm on PS4. The story wasn't anything special but where it becomes addictive is when you start getting into all the end game content like the raids and gear collecting. I didn't get my first Fatebringer until a few months ago, but when I did I got a Vex, Vision, and the Fatebringer all in the same run.

BUT i'm going to capitol hill block party this weekend so i'm stoked. particularly excited to see DIIV, flatbush zombies, deafheaven, jamie xx, and father john misty. Jamie XX is amazing live, saw him at Coachella.

yeah pretty much. weights are weights. only the gym noobies care about all the fancy gym amenities that they won't actually end up using lol When I search for new gym locations on Maps, I always get a kick when I see the reviews and people are complaining about normal gym tendencies. Yes gyms are crowded in the afternoon, locker rooms can get musky when there are a bunch of sweaty naked people using them, machines tend to need repairs from time to time.

I've been a LA Fitness member for a few years now, the part I enjoy most is that you know exactly what you're getting when you walk-in to any location, but at the end of the day, fitness chains are all the same, the employees are trying to meet quotas for new enrollments and stuff. They'll try to tell you their better then the other place, but they're all using the same equipment.

Not worth it.

I would imagine if it exists, it'd be in some core directory that contains your user profile data. I would try to poke around myself and be more specific for what to look for but 1. I'm on a Mac and 2. I no longer have Skype, but in all honesty it's probably faster to just re-request friends.
