It depends on the type of jacket/material but you could easily sew it yourself, patch it, or take it to an local tailer and get them to do it for cheap. I got a small tear in a Patagonia jacket early spring and I fixed with a small piece of clear tenacious tape that still holds to this day. I was cleaning my apartment this morning and in the process I opened up a piece of junk mail form Time Warner Cable that surprised me by announcing that my internet speeds have been bumped from 30/5 mbps to 200/20 mbps for free. I obviously hadn't notice a speed change so I ran a speed test and got this: Obviously not the 200/20 I'm suppose to have, but a huge speed boast nonetheless. To reach 200/20 I apparently need to upgrade my modem but it's currently out-of-stock everywhere, so I'll have to wait..

I feel old reflecting on this, but I remember the first Thanksgiving feast we (brother, a friend and myself) cooked back in our sophomore year of college. We were all nervous we would [bleep] it up, but it turned out to be a really good meal. The Turkey came out great, the pies were perfect, and all the side dish were eatable. It's definitely a memory that I'll keep with me. The sad bit is I can't remember how many other Thanksgivings we've cooked since then. Maybe 2 others? The rest I've been able to spend with my entire family.

It's a Silverado, and yeah, the bags are for traction. If I don't add weight, I basically drift around every corner, or have no control in iced parking lots like at a ski resort or when I'm visiting my parents in Washington. The reason I don't drive a Truck with 4WD is because I've pretty much lived in the Southwest for the past 6 years and there is simply no reason for me to have it down here.

I feel comfortable assuming Arceus The Mysterious lives in either Chile, Argentina, Canada, or the US. I wanted it to be someplace exotic like Chile, but I've managed to find a single tweet that states he's from the USA.

Gotham was surprising better then how I imagined it being. Flash doesn't interest me a whole lot, but it's been getting a lot of good praises from the press as one of the best premieres, so I'll probably give it a chance. I don't really know what else is new this fall.

Yeah, I'd agree if you can't grow to find humor in awkward situations, then you aren't going to enjoy the series. One thing I can say about the show is that it's great at giving you the right cues. A show I've been binge watching on Netflix is Bob's Burgers. I'm really disappoint it's taken me until last month to finally start watching it.

The PS4 bundle was tempting but I couldn't justify paying $450 when the only difference between the two versions are the graphics. However if I do decide to buy a PS4 between now and January, I get a free copy of the PS4 version of Destiny because i bought a digital copy, which is cool to know. We had a $2 beer night on Wednesday too, then on Thursdays at the same place it was 25 cent beers all day with a $5 cover after 7PM. But now my life is all about those $2 happy hour beers.

I put in close to 6 hours yesterday and got up to level 13 (now 14), and so far I've really enjoy how they've been able to perfectly blended a mmo & fps into one game. Control is easily my favorite multiplayer mode. It really makes you move around the map, making for some really exciting gameplay. Team deathmatch is fun if you're placed on one of the close combat maps, but when they put you on a large map it can be a real [bleep].

Sometimes jobs with very minimum requirements won't take people who are over qualified. Doesn't make a lot of sense, but that shit happens all the time. I've been turned away from similar entry level jobs simply because the pay wouldn't make my experience, the work is just busy-work, bs reasonings you don't actually care about, but people feel like they're doing you a favor.

What do you normally do to make people happy?
stevepole replied to HappyNooblet's topic in Off-Topic
I always try to show up to whatever I've been invited to. I'll ballpark my reliability at around 86%. This always makes people happy. -
I feel that if an asexual need visual imagery to stimulate himself, or even simply having the desire to masturbate, shows a sign of sexual attraction. It makes no sense how a person can have a sexual desire, yet lack sexual attraction.
