I was wondering if anyone could tell me the drop rates on tokkul and obsidian charms off of the lvl 149 guards. Either hourly or per kill would be great. Thanks in advance for the help.

Going to start toward 99 farming on Sunday, and this is no doubt going to be a help. Should take just under 11 weeks. What fruit tree would you reccomend? I'm stuck between orange and curry. Curry is more xp, but bananas are hard to get, especially because of the double xp weekend and the high demand for summoning. Or, do you think pineapples would be better?

This. Every update is bound to have (and in my experiences, has had) at least one complaint. This one was definately over done though. From what I heard there was a riot in w66 Falador. I didn't check as I was at ZGW, but that's what I heard from a few clan members.

There is an extremely slim chance of that happening. If they reach 20m, which I don't see happening, they will be grabbed up extremely fast, as they are sure to rise to their current price soon after they fall.

I have to say, I thought this "double xp weekend" was a rumor or some kind of scam put up by some group or another, untill I saw the developer blog. This is something I never tought Jagex would do, especially with certain skills, like summoning in particular. Summoning has always been a skill that takes a long time to train, as charms cannot be bought. Even when giving bonuses, they preferred to give charm bonuses, not free xp, an example being the recent familiarization d&d. The triple charm drops made the skill a little more managable to train for lower levels, who cannot do the top end methods to gain charms, such as waterfiends and rock lobsters. Work is still needed to put in to get the reward, unlike with this update, where stored charms for, roughly quoting Aeil (I belive he is the one who said it), "nearly 88 becomes enough for 96." No effort is put into getting the charms for the difference, the charms currently stored become all you need. Jagex has been careful of balancing updates like this in the past, like brawler gloves, which were only available for certain skills, and took time to obtain. To me, this seems like it is a ploy to get more players to get membership, is it is only available to members. Once again, I have lost more respect for Jagex. That's my two cents. And yes, I do plan to partake in this event, despite my position. It would be rather illogical not to, considering the time that can be saved.

I'm trying to get a SOL via trades (almost 77 slayer, so no Ice strykewyrm tasks for me) and I was wondering what I would need to trade fot one. I currently have a focus sight and cash, but I don't think that will cut it. Any ideas on what I would need?

I always used piety, and recharged it when needed. Drink one dose of your potions everytime you re-aggro.

I also have some experience when my stats were actually lower than yours, and I did just fine with B2P, especially since they tend to drop Uganthi (sp?) Kebabs that are pretty decent for healing. It's Ugthanki =P

Right, so my mate needs to get his summoning up. His stats are: 60 attack 50 strength 60 defence 57 hitpoints 46 range 43 prayer 46 mage. Where would be the best place to get charms? His summoning level is only 16. I was thinking slayer, any other ideas?

So reds 246 per chin @ 705gp mid Greys 184 per chin @ 481gp mid 800000/246=3.25k of reds 800000/184=4.35k of greys 3.25*705=2291250 4.35*481=2092350 So 23m with reds, 21m with greys. All excluding prayer pots, familiars and range potions. O_o I think I'll stick to knives...

I only read the first and last page, but going back to the d skirt v d legs example, I love the way the skirt looks and find the legs to be crap. yeah, I'm a guy, and yes, I'm straight. What's wrong with a guy in a skirt <_< Also in a side note, In my experiences, skirt drops are more common than legs. 5 skirts v 2 legs.

I get my bananas from casting fruitfall. Probably not the fastest way to get them, but has ~650k profit, so =p
