I read that too. I'm currently talking to Avalani now but not getting anything about the Cryptic Clue Fest. Perhaps I'm missing something? I have the Investigator's stuff from last year, if that matters? Avalani in the clan camp not Avalani in citadel and the item she gives out is the rock fragment that summons burning chickens and her robes. Odds are you already have them, if not perhaps Jagex hasn't put the code in-game yet. code? We need a code? He means coding the game from Jagex's end, not a code that we need to input.

First post updated with today's answer and Sy's explanation. If anyone figures out the final line of the third clue please post it. I didn't realize the sceptre was for the left hand. Now I can walk around with both my Diamond and my Monkey sceptre at the same time. :thumbsup:

I can confirm this. I just tried with one of my other accs and the same thing happened. Got the cape and the title and everything, but no lamp.

If I remember correctly, you just have to talk to him and he'll give it to you. There is no option for it.

Nope. Just talk to him to get the lamp. Arceus is partially right though, in order to get the cape you have to claim it from your holiday items.

Yeah, a lot of the lower end rares have crashed pretty hard the last few months. If you go to Diango, you can get an xp lamp (which can be banked, btw) and a Cape of Validation. If you right click on the cape while it's in your inventory (you can't do it while it's being worn), you get the option of adding the "The Real" title to your name. As for the Jubilee, the current Cryptic Clue Fest if Jubilee themed. I believe free players will be getting a scepter of some kind as the final reward. Also, check out the main square in Varrock. It's decorated for the Jubilee and you can buy a couple of Jubilee themed items there.

Then we conga'd up to the party room where I bestowed gifts upon my faithful followers. We danced and laughed and made merry with Party Pete and the Falador Knights. That's me in the awesome blue afro Hedgehog gave me. At some point afros seemed to have become the item of the day as more and more of them kept getting dropped in the balloons. They were everywhere! :lol: It was wonderful to have so many of my friends come to share this momentous occasion with me. Thank you. :grin:
