While this is indeed engouraging news, especially about the possibility of returning free players to the hiscores, I can't help but feel like I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Remember when the Bot Nuke happened, and while we were still on a super happiness high, they took free players off the hiscores shortly after like we wouldn't notice. Something really good always seems to precede something really bad in JagexLand.

The new site looks awesome! Thanks to you and your team for all the hard work restoring the list to, and even surpassing, its former glory. =D> And since I'm here, I guess it's time for an update. btw - I'm also Canadian. There certainly do seem to be a lot of us.

Wizard 101 (my kids got me into it, don't judge :P ) has a similar pay as you go option that allows you to unlock areas whether you're a subscriber or not. In fact, you can permenantly unlock every area in the game for less than the cost of two year's membership. This business model has worked so well for KingsIsle (the makers of Wizard 101) that they're starting a second game. You don't do that if you're losing money.

You're the one who got 99 RC before RuneSpan. :P Thanks. <3: Life has been busy and I haven't gotten around to sorting out my image hosting yet. I know there's lot of pics there I can delete to free up space, so hopefully I'll either do that or start using Imgr as Itsa suggested. It hasn't been so busy that I didn't get to play for a bit. I'm up to 67 RC now, and about halfway to 68. :grin: I was only planning on getting 65, but RuneSpan is so quick and easy that I'm going to stay until at least 70 and then drag my pixelated butt back to Varrock and get superheating again. I also started playing Pocket Planes on my iPhone. It's simple and surprisingly addictive. :thumbsup:

That's right. It was rewarded to the first 25 people to finish the Deathcon event at RuneFest last year. Made a lot of people upset too, as they didn't tell anyone that there would be rewards for finishing first. That, and it seemed pretty pointless to go through the trouble of creating an item that only 25 people would ever have.

Wow. It looks incredible. <3: Now that's a loyalty reward worth buying a game card for.

I'm only familiar with two, Total F2P Skillers and Free Players (which used to be Babylon), as I'm a member in one and have friends in the other but I'm sure there are many more. If you look around in the RS clan listings I'm sure you'll find something that suits you. :)

My guess is that it refers to either the mysterious Roanoke Colony in what is now North Carolina (where according to legend everyone just up and disappeared), or the former home of William Faulkner in Oxford, Mississippi.

This is both one of the funniest things I've ever heard, and the most egregious example of how truly far out of whack our litigious society has become. I can't wait to see how this unfolds next. So much more entertaining than reading about drunken starlets crashing their cars or which quasi-famous dilettante they're shacking up with.
