Were there actually fewer bots, or were we, in our nooby innocence, just less aware of them?

I know someone has been trying to get a private server up and running based on RS from 2006, butI have no idea if they actually finished it and got it online. While I can appreciate the sentimental value that era has for a lot of us (myself included), I'm not sure I'd want to go back there. Now THAT I would be interested in trying.

Yeah, the toolbelt was an awesome addition to DG. Permanently having a Fractite pick and hatchet, not to mention tinderbox and needle, without using up binds makes me a happy Kaida! :grin: I have been using the rune ess on the start table to make some cosmics and laws, but I tend to keep all the food and any armor I find there. It's really come in handy in keeping me alive. ;) Last night I ran through some more floors and got me some more levels! First some melee and combat... [spoiler=58 Constitution and 73 Combat] [spoiler=58 Strength] ...and finally 60 DG. \:D/ [spoiler=60 Dungeoneering] Then I did the last couple of floors available and reset, so I'll have a clean slate to start over with. For now though, it's back to superheating for a while. I'd like to get at least 10k more steel bars done before I do anything else. Of course, superheating means I need urns so this morning I was running back and forth to the Crafting Guild. I also thought "hey, since I'm mining the clay maybe I should be using a Mining urn and get some free xp!" ...that might have been a slight miscalculation on my part. Do you know how long it takes to fill a Mining urn using only clay? :wacko: Oh well, at least I have lots of Smelting urns now. :lol:

I love the outfit the Botany Bay judge is wearing. Makes it look like the whole thing is a late 17th century witch trial (with similarly predetermined outcomes).

That's pretty much what I've been doing, so it's good to hear I'm doing it (mostly) right. :) I even did a floor last night that was nothing but skill/key doors. The only thing I killed was the boss. :grin: I'm ok with loosing two minutes at the end of a floor to gain anywhere from 2-5k Crafting xp, but that's a personal choice. Once I get it up to 70 I'm probably going to stop. Thanks for all the tips everyone. With your help my times are regularly down in the 13-15 minute range now. :thumbup:

I'd sooner believe Tripsis gold farmed than Sonic. (no offense Trip, just making a point) ...and this was a reply to Omali's post on the other page. Stupid iPhone. :P

They accused him of gold farming and unfortunately didn't provide any evidence. Which is rediculous.

If anyone is reading this and thinking that, then they don't know Sonic.

Well, there's the "long braids" the "ring braids" and the "wind braids" which I'll admit doesn't look much like braids at all. There's also a complete list of available hairstyles with pictures on the RuneScape Wiki. What kind of braid style were you thinking they should add? PS - Welcome to TIF! :)

How will you feel when it's embedded in the wrapper of every piece of food you buy? Every consumer product? Sown into the lining of your clothes? Yes, this is most likely just as it appears on the surface, but privacy invasion is a slippery slope. It's bad enough that the mics and gps on our increasingly ubiquitous cell phones can be activated remotely. I don't need them tracking my candy too. LIke Alg, I am also a wee bit paranoid. :P
