  1. Welcome to TIF. I'm sure you'll find plenty of people to talk to. :)
  2. Welcome to TIF. :) I posted some money making suggestions in your help topic.
  3. Except the food store only stocks 500 pots, so you'd only make 75000gp before they were out of stock. The best way to make money in F2P is learning to flip on the G.E.. There's any number of guides out there that can show you how. If you want to try skilling ways of making money, you could try: cutting Yews (which would be pretty slow at your level) - currently 486 per log buying gold bars on the G.E. and crafting them into amulets in Al Kharid - currently 60gp profit make urns in the Crafting Guild and sell them - most of them go for over 400gp, but check the prices first as at least one is as low as 81 mine gold and silver in the Crafting Guild (which again would be kind of slow at your level) - gold ore 227, silver ore 118 you don't mention what your fishing level is, but if it's high enough you could fish lobsters on Karamja and either sell them raw or cook them first - raw 131, cooked 145 it's not exactly skilling, but you could pick up the ashes left from firemaking bots and sell them on the G.E. - currently 211 I hope this was helpful. :)
  4. Well, I'm only 53 DG and already bought a gem bag so those 4000 tokens were a big chunk of what I have atm. Still, it was definitely worth it. I'll just have to wait a bit longer for my Arcane Blast Necklace. :P
  5. Thanks everybody! :) Star, I will definitely mine you some Fractite, you have but to ask. After all, mining is what I do best. :P Zzzupernub, glad to see you're back. So it's been a week, and what a week it has been. I now know why people make so many posts with nothing but a level up pic in it, because the levels come so close together it's hard to think of new stuff to say. I have gained...get ready for it...12 levels this week. So here's a whole bunch of level up pics for you to enjoy. [spoiler=Total 1012 to 1023][spoiler=Crafting 60] [spoiler=Crafting 61] [spoiler=Magic 70] [spoiler=Runecrafting 59] [spoiler=Runecrafting 60] [spoiler=Runecrafting 61] [spoiler=Runecrafting 62] [spoiler=Magic 71] [spoiler=Crafting 62] [spoiler=Magic 72] [spoiler=Smithing 76] [spoiler=Magic 73] Dag a lot of stuff opens up at 70 Magic, doesn't it? Shortly after getting 60 Crafting, I also crossed another milestone: 20M total xp! So, as you can see I've spent this week doing a little bit of just about everything. Mostly though, I was standing around in the G.E. superheating steel bars (which explains all the Magic levels). I picked up a coal bag to help make things go faster and I don't regret it a bit. I've got over 6000 bars made now. I think when I hit 10000 I'll take a break for a while and do something else. RuneSpan is loads of fun, I can't wait to go back. I also miss Fishing and Woodcutting so I'll probably do them as well. I'm not planning on doing much combat outside of Deamonhiem for a while as I don't want my cb level to get too high just yet. I'm still soloing dungeons and really can't afford the level 90 xp nerf. <_< Other than that, it's mostly been getting to know my new clanmates (who are awesome btw ) and trying to get back into the swing of flipping. Anyway, all that ore won't superheat itself. In the future I'll try to post a little more often so there aren't quite so many level ups. :P
  6. As far as I know merching is the best option. I don't think there's been much of a gambling market since they removed the dice, but I could be wrong.
  7. Dag. A level a day in the high 90's? You're a ranging machine! Early congrats on 99 Con. =D>
  8. I see what you did there. Gratz, Eco. 1200 total is right around the corner.
  9. Yes. Dear God, yes. Know what's even worse? Realizing you don't have enough on you to buy one. :wall: That's why I always have a half dozen or so spares spread out through my vehicles and the coats I regularly wear, just in case I brain fart and forget to put it in my pocket.

I think that would be considered vandalism at the very least. Either way, I still wouldn't recommend it.

Just as an FYI, I looked it up and barricading the door like that would be at least criminal mischief. Under section 387 of the Canadian Criminal Code:

My advice would be to calm down and get your ID renewed. She's just doing her job. If your ID is expired and anyone who asks to see it still sells you anything age controlled (ie: alcohol, tobacco, lottery) they could lose their job. I'd probably have done the same thing.
  13. You're hitting the right reply button, but if you want to reply to more than one post you should use the 'MultiQuote' button. Double posting should really only be done in blogs. Just click on it for every post you want to reply to, and then click on on 'Add Reply' at the bottom. Don't worry, you'll get the hang of the forum pretty quickly. :)
  14. ^ This. I can't even load the game in software mode anymore, it just straight up crashes. Were you having problems before or is this recent? A lot of people were having problems after the Bot Nuke, but the first stage of Optimus seems to have corrected this for the most part. I have some lag issues, but my laptop is pretty old so I've just been assuming that's the issue.
  15. Or go mining. Everybody loves mining...or is that just me? :P
  16. 1200 total? Very impressive. And gratz on the Black Ibis!
  17. That's a pretty good setup all on its own for a pure skiller. Why not get the wizzy g hat to go with it? Unless you've got mad stacks of cash, then get a yellow phat to complete the ensemble. :P Perhaps you should see Thessalia in the Varrock clothes shop. The basic clothes can look pretty good all on their own and don't weigh anything. Ultimately, it's up to you and what you think looks good.
  18. Welcome to TIF. Glad you finally decided to make an account. I'm sure you'll enjoy it here. :)
  19. You were right, levine. The coal bag is making this much faster. Thanks for the suggestion runelower, but I'm going to stick with making steel. If it's not quite enough to bump me up to rune by the time I'm done, then I'll definitely look into mith.
  20. Congratulations on the recent levels.
  21. Nobody likes a quitter. :P Welcome back. :)
  22. Congratulations! =D> Even with RuneSpan, that's still very impressive.
  23. There was actually a suggestion thread on making Elvarg into a repeatable F2P boss a while back. (edit: found it) I have to agree with you about the coral crossbow, but not the QBD. The initial quest (I forget the name) that gives you the coral crossbow could have been made F2P, but the QBD herself left as members only as an incentive for people to sign up. That, and the crossbow could have been very useful in F2P. I like the coal bag suggestion as well. Spend coins or DG points to charge up the coal bag so that it will hold the same amount of other ores. I don't know about redoing quests, but I'd certainly love the option to review the cutscenes from quests. Some of them are pretty cool.
