I didnt say it isnt smart marketing, but people seem to love BXPW and hate refer a friend, when the basic concept of the two is exactly the same, they offer extra exp to entice more memberships..... The difference is one is perceived as the greatest thing in the world, and the other is seen as greedy and immoral, I am trying to point out that they are the same, but people still dont want to see it. BXPW is NOT part of your membership, there is no guarantee of it, so anyone who says it is part of their membership is incorrect, and just trying to justify why they love BXPW....

I think you are missing the point, YOU may pay for a full year, but many of the RS community are kids that only pay during summer months and during breaks. It isnt a coincidence that BXPW happens in september, it is a way to entice these kids to pay for an EXTRA month memebership when normally they would only be members for June-August and cancel their members account in September, that is the whole point of BXPW to get those kids to pay for AN EXTRA month of memebership.... How do you not see that?

so you like BXPW cause you pay and get extra experience, but you dont like refer a friend because you have to pay and get extra experience??? Either way both are marketing ploys to boost memberships buy giving more experience for members.... how do you not see the parallel?

I havent done berlore habitat, which I would like to start, but the guides I have read dont make any sense.... I will have to look up spirit trees and see where to plant them and how much exp... Thanks

My standpoint has been the same, all Jagex cares about is making money, and BXPW makes them money as the kiddies going back to school will keep their members accounts longer to get the BXP. But for all the people threatening to quit cause of Refer a friend and how this is microtransactions. how is this any different? If you are against refer a friend and microtransactions, isnt BXPW the same thing? You pay them for membership that many would have not because of the school year in exchange you get to take part in BXPW... Isn't that the same thing.... Am I going to play during bonus weekend, sure, but I play every weekend anyway and have a paid membership for the last 4-5 years without stopping, so it makes no difference to me

not everyone on the forum plays.... what I was curious to see is if all the people threatening to quit are the same ones that now cant wait for BXPW..... that would show that you are just as bad as them, you can be bought for a XP boost, as they can compromise their game for more money. And all the people complaining about microtransactions and refer a friend, how is XPW different, they are buying your membership for extra exp, vs you buying exp for your membership??? It is the pot calling the kettle black....

Everyone is up in arms about botting, RWTing, Andrew selling the company, and people are threatening to quit and making you tube videos...... and then bonus experience weekend is announced and everyone is in love with Jagex.... Are you bought that easily??? If you were really pissed at Jagex and really had a set, you would boycott BXPW to show them that you cant be bought out buy cheap ploys for your money by getting a little faster exp..... Let's see how many people really put their actions where their mouths are???

yes some people will say that is makes supplies cheaper, but it also makes my profits cheaper, as I cant gather those supplies to make money either... So that is negated... So I am very anti bot, as it makes a lot of gatheriing skills like rcing, wcing, fishing, mining, etc... useless as it used to be that they were boring skills that leveling didnt help you do anything but make more money, now there is no point as these skills make little cash and have no point to them...

My plan is to use the herbs that I have saved from MTK since last bxpw and the seconds that I already bought, to get 99 herblore. I am going to sell the 7K snap weeds that I have farmed and in bank, hopefully for 10K each to get 70M to put into buying infernal ashes for turmoil.... If BCP and Tassets fall to less then $30M combined, with people selling stuff to get bxpw supplies, I am thinking of getting a set...I have $120M in bank already... I will do a mage tree run at the start of bxpw to get the maximum farming exp.... what else should I plant along with mage trees??? The rest of the bonus, I plan on using for ZMI rcing and maybe some firemaking, as I have 300 yews and over 1K mage logs saved. And when my counter is down to 1.1, I will use all my charms to level summoning, I have 1800 greens, 2800 crimsons, 100 blues and 2000 golds.... hoping to get at least to 93 on my way to 96 for yak... Any other good ideas for me??? Or I am I all ready for the BXPW???

I am hoping to sell my 7K snaps for 10K each for 70M, then I can buy infernal ashes to use for turm... I also hope that people will be selling bandos armor to buy supplies for bxpw, and I can get the BCP and tassets for under $30M That would be a nice bxpw haul, cheap BCP and tassets, 99 herblore, and profit to get me to turm....

I still find it funny that people wait for bxpw to be announced to buy their supplies, when the pattern is every early March and September they have one. I have been saving my high level mtk herbs since last bwpx, and buying the secondaries in bunches along the way. The only thing that I didnt buy were all of my summoning seconds, although I did put in an offer last night on a few of them, let's hope it took. I am sitting on 6,700 snapdragon weeds, and another 100 seeds. so I should be able to sell my over 7,000 snaps and buy turmoil. I hope it is as good as everyone says it is.....

no turm yet, maybe in a few weeks after bxpw.... if the have it, I do enjoy killing mithril dragons, but with no yak my trips are shorter

they dont care, they want to win the award to try to get more people to play F2P with hopes of enticing those people to eventually pay. Maybe they could offer P2P to be bot free to try to convert F2P to P2P

either way, the correct way to handle the situation would be to engage the person and try to address their concerns because as a pmod he is close to the game and the other players and may have a unique knowledge of the gameplay problems that someone sitting in a board room starting at a monthly P&L trend, does not....

but by pointing our their flaws, you are giving them a chance to fix them. The best customer lets a business know what they did wrong so that they have a chance to fix the problem and retain the customer The worst customer doesnt say a word and never purchases from the vendor again. By pointing out their flaws, for free, you give them an opportunity to fix the problem, and as a business you can take two actions, one thank the person for the loyal support and make an attempt to address your customer's concerns or two dont care and do your best to suppress their opinion and act like they are in the minority. The issue of mod or not isnt what concerns me, the issue of how the react to being shown their own flaws, does concern me....

actually Jagex should applaud people like Jiblix. He is helping them to improve their product. If someone bought an iphone and posted a youtube video pointing out the flaws of the phone, that person has done the work for Apple for zero cost and they can now fix the problem that they didnt hve to spend any R&D expense to find. But that relies on the premise that the company cares to make their product better....

How do I activate famialiation? I have never done it before, and then what do I use it on? Bork, slayer tasks that have charms like waterfiends, or just go to black demons with a cannon?

they dont care and you making a video isnt going to help, they are now owned by venture capitalists that care nothing about the game, the only thing that matters is bottom line profits, and bots=profits, if anything they will encourage more botting if it makes them more money. and VC's couldnt care less about the game long term VC are only make investments for 1-2 years make their profits and get out

What is best to make to get me to 93? I mostly have gold, green and crim charms. Is it wolfpteinger or whatever it is called, how do I make those, it seems like they have 2 secondary ingredients.

I have $120M in cash, and 6,300 snaps waiting to sell until after bxp weekend is announced, so that should give me about $180M cash, some of which will be used to buy infernal ashes, but I am thinking of buying a BCP while it is "cheap" How much better is it then my current set up of torags? I already have fury, dfs, dragon dagger. Also same question for tassets.... Or should I just try to solo BGWD???

I am getting bored with RS and debating taking a break, but I keep hearing everyone rave about TD's, I have avoided them since I first tried and only could kill like 2-3 per trip. The things I hate the most about TD's is that I play RS passively, so I never pay full attention, which means I hate luring, prayer switching and I dont like mini games so I dont and wont get void. Can I reasonably kill Td's with my stats, overloads/extremes, and just prayer, without prayer switching or luring?
