Hey, im contemplating downloading a cs4 trial but im tossing up between photoshop or illustrator.. the reason im not gonna get both is cus i have 12gb a month limit and ive use 6gp already and got 20 days left in the month -.-

Took me about an hour and a half of taking different techniques and stuff did use a few tuts on how to blen text and stuff. Hope you like it

Could someone please make me a small pixel sig like maybe 400x130px Just of a tree as the focal and a nice sunset and river as the background? would love it heaps if any could and would credit you to the max :D

see its tuts like theese which look great but really confusing.. i find most sig tuts (8/10) are like this I tried to follow it and ended up with this... very.....ewww

wow i appreaciate it alot! i currently am using gimp -.- wich is probably helping me suck at digi art. But im saving for fs hopefully the CS4 Collection wich costs alot lol. I would love some links and such. i do find it hard to use nearly all the laws and rules of art, as much as i want to and need to it just slips my mind. I cannot find a tut that is advanced but easy to understand.. The main aspects i think im missing (due to c/c) are: focal, positioning, light and shadow, contrast, smudging and blending. i Think ive grasped text and borders but i still to this day get told to master everything else before text. But i do appreciate all your help. P.s - Gimp is a pain in the [wagon], cause every now and then i will hit say...colourize and it will close gimp down... -.-
