I did good in my placement games (6 wins, 4 losses) putting me at a reasonable Silver V. But then my games started going horribly wrong. Now I have more losses than wins :( As a person who mains support (and Sona at that) I guess that could be the reason I lose more often than win...

Finished Toradora today. For a romcom it's actually really good. I usually hate the genre for being too cheesy, but the characters are lovable and the storyline doesn't get overly dramatic.

New ranked system for League of Legends has been released. To people who play ranked, is it easier or harder to advance through the "tiers" compared to the ratings from before?

The first two movies are just basically plot summaries right? Any major differences to speak of? Spoilertag them if you wish, but usually I don't watch movies that sum up anime episodes :| Also, started watching Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai. Hilarious harem anime with a theme I can easily relate to - it isn't called "I Don't Have Many Friends" for nothing.

Just finished watching Puella Magi Madoka Magica. #1 anime of the decade. Actually, more like #1 anime EVER. Too bad I can't convince my friends to watch this because they think this is another typical mahou shoujo on the outside -_- I even told them it's made by SHAFT, the same company that made the Monogatari series, still not convinced. Seriously, screw the haters, I have yet to find an anime series that can top something of this quality.

So I started watching Steins;Gate last week. I'm 14 episodes in currently. And all I have to say is. Holy. Shit. Never knew time travel could get THIS chaotic... I've always been a fan of sci-fi and this anime basically defined what a sci-fi anime should contain. The characters are well-developed, its take on time travel was interesting, and it gets REALLY serious when it needs to. One of the best shows I've watched, definitely. I wonder if Chaos;Head and Robotics;Notes match up to this. Heard both were pretty bad though... should I watch these?

Don't see why F2P needs it - currently in P2P duel wielding is vastly inferior to two-handed weapons. Unless something is done about duel wielding, it's pretty much useless.

My melee/mage setup: Bryll top Bryll bottoms Air staff Fractite 2h Laws (225) Seems to work really well for me. Two-handed weapons are SO much better than one-handed ones, seriously.

So I got banned for macro goldfarming back in September partially due to the faulty bot detection system that banned over half the RS population... but wait a minute, people are STILL getting perm banned from this system? This is so laughable, flawless bot detection system you say? Then why is RS still run rampant of bots and innocents like me get not one but THREE goldfarming ban messages in a row? I've had enough. I just don't feel safe playing this game anymore. It's as if Jagex WANTS to ban me. Holy shit. And I thought I had hope in EoC and the new updates. I guess not.

The faster time it takes to complete the DG makes up for the negative level mod%. This is pretty much better than obtaining 10% levelmod 100% of the time and has been proven that killing GD only monsters is the superior method.

No. Getting the max 10% level mod is pretty much never worth it. You have to kill around 90% of the monsters in a floor. ONLY kill monsters within a GD. Nothing more. Skilling should only be done when completing your low complexity floors (1-29). Should only do fishing/wcing tbh. Also, a c6 med solo is supposed to take ~10 mins for the average player, give or take. Maybe even less as more EoC tactics are discovered.

Probably not. Can't be bothered to go to one of those anyway. I'm also glad that the xp penalty has been lifted for parties of 5 combatants and imposed if there were too many low levels. This had always been the case in P2P and I'm glad Jagex made F2P the same way. Just wondering, what's the ideal hotbar setup for melee, ranged, and magic?

Ok, every time I go into Lumbridge, Falador, Port Sarim, Al Kharid, Wizard's Tower or ANY OTHER FREAKING NEW GRAPHICALLY UPDATED AREA. The game shows "Loading (50%)". And then it FREEZES. And then I have to spend an extra few minutes reloading the game. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. This glitch has been present since 2007. Why isn't this dumb thing fixed yet.

If you want an anime that makes you sad, try Kokoro Connect. Surprisingly mood whiplashing for such lighthearted concepts like soul switching, exposing inner desires, age regression, and mind reading o.O Especially episode 5. Manly tears have been shed.

Wow haven't been on here in forever o.o did not realize the existence of this thread! For the past few months I've decided to revisit anime that I've only seen several episodes of on TV. So far I've managed to finish: - SKET Dance (really hilarious show, both anime and manga, can't wait for OVA and 2nd season!) - K-ON! (cute slice of life anime, too bad KyoAni won't animate the university arc or Azu-nyan's Light Music Club :( ) - Bakemonogatari (excellent story, one of my favorite supernatural anime of all time, but I hate those frames that say red/black...) - Nisemonogatari (story isn't as good but excellent pacing and visuals, and no more stupid frames that say red/black) - Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu (love triangle much? loved the concept of test scores = summon power XD ) - The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (SOS Brigade is one of the most awesome clubs ever, period.) - Kokoro Connect (Heartseed is one epic troll, nuff said. Also the mood whiplashes in this show... oh god...) Right now I'm watching the 3rd season of Zero no Tsukaima. I'm not the biggest fan of tsundere type characters, but what really got me into this series is the story as well as the character development. Tui's post pretty much sums up my thoughts. After taking a break from RS not long ago due to a dysfunction in Jagex's banning system (I'd rather not go into it), I decided to go back to things that I used to do all the time before RS took over. During this time period, I revisited anime, something that I've enjoyed long before RS came into my eyes. Surprisingly as it turned out I had much more fun marathoning 50+ episodes of SKET Dance than say, grinding out 1m firemaking xp in a day. Heck, when I revisited League of Legends, the intensity of the game just told me the amount of effort I really need to put into it. RS fails to achieve this level of intensity, for obvious reasons. There are probably specific reasons why very little sites are even mentioning RS at all. But because it's protrayed so very less in the media and relatively unpopular to the masses of the internet, RS will inevitably get this kind of view towards itself. Heck, I used to think my classmates were just spouting bullshit when they said that RS is just a terrible mess that will never become popular again. And slowly I'm starting to think they're right. I don't really want to shun other people's opinion here, but if one opens their eyes just a wee little bit, it's quite obvious the shunning non-RSers see this game.
