Just got back to 'scape again
I'm wondering what's the best ways to make money in F2P? I need money to buy bonds. Currently mining iron, but the competition is fierce... are there any other alternate money-making schemes? I'm 50 in all stats, except 93 dg, 67 magic, 60 wc/fm and 59 mining. Help is appreciated!

Well I'm back I guess
When did I last post in this forum? Like April or something? Anyways I just felt like coming back here because of a certain Hyt'er in Tvtropes who reminded me of this community. Naturally I felt inclined to come back to post. I probably won't play Runescape ever again though. So hey guys.

Manga/Anime Discussion
So now that the fall 2013 anime has finished airing... I'm thinking of watching Kill la Kill, Golden Time, Noucome, Outbreak Company and Log Horizon. Opinions on these? Got any other recommendations?

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
Friend recommended me Binding of Isaac. I've been playing it ever since, for about 2 weeks now. Unlocked around 80 of the 97 achievements so far.

Returning after 6+ months hiatus
Don't forget to do The World Wakes, also a good way to get you on track in regards to EoC combat. Your agility level also guarantees that you will never run out of run energy no matter how long you run, so have fun ;)

F2p Dungeoneering Binds
You say it's pointless to have a higher HP cap, yet you bound a fractite plate. Bryll top is still the better choice because magic > melee. Unless you are making full fractite armor... but shouldn't you have the GP to make full bryll too? Meh. If you're doing levels only in dg, then ditch the shirt and try finding a spinebeam bow from rangers I guess. Or ask someone to spawn you one.

Observations from a "Noob"
I had also recently trained up my account from level 1 in all combat stats. It wasn't all that bad honestly - training on men in Edgeville or cows in any cow pen is actually really nice xp earlygame. And then there's also items like chargebows and mindspikes for people who don't like melee. Although, I do agree that the Burthorpe tutorial is sort of messed up.

F2p Dungeoneering Binds
Don't bother ranging in f2p, it's not as useful as you think it is. Get 64 magic, so you can use the group gatestone teleport. Get 54 runecrafting, so you can craft laws. Depends on if you choose to bind laws or cosmics, but always useful to have. (Yes, unbind the arrows too.) Get at least 50 in all skills as to open all critical rooms easily. For some reason, the upper bound for critical paths in f2p is level 49, which implies crits are between level 40-49. Replace the bow with a bryll top. If you are 90 dging bind bryll bottom too, extra HP is OP. Magic should be your primary style with melee as your secondary. You shouldn't be skilling in dungeons. Open all doors and ignore all monsters not in guardian doors, and finish the boss. But if you really insist on skilling, add a fractite pickaxe and hatchet to your toolbelt.

The F2P General Discussion Thread
Not much has really changed, but... - rune and gravite 2h swords are best now - blue dragonhide, magic bows and rune arrows are f2p (although gravite bow is still better) - new mage armor called batwing is available for use, in addition to the bat wand and shield (although gravite staff is still better) You will probably be overwhelmed by EoC but it's worth exploring the depths ^_^ By the way what's a good place to train melee, ranged and magic?

The F2P General Discussion Thread
I've recently come back to this game on my skiller account, and I really need some help with moneymaking D: What are some good ways to earn some gps without engaging in any combat? Now, here are some considerations: - all my non-combat skills are in the 50's right now; which ones should I train first? - I'm aware about some of the rewards in the Great Orb Project - I want to know alternatives to that. AKA don't say buy water talismans from GOP. Also, I'm really bad at anything Runescape-economy related so don't suggest flipping. Unless there really is no other option. And finally, how should I train combat, if all my combat skills are currently at 1? It's a possibility that I might level combat on my skiller as well. Thank you ^_^

"The next Runescape update will be in approximately 30 minutes."
I've seen this message at least three times per day, for the past few days I've been playing. And it's super annoying. Why in the world is Jagex updating their servers so many times in a day anyway? Unless some game-breaking bug is popping up every single minute...

Manga/Anime Discussion
Just wait till you get to the second half, you'll laugh your head off. --- What spring 2013 animes are you guys planning to watch? There aren't that many interesting titles for me asides from Oreimo season 2 and Railgun season 2. People have been saying Date a Live and Hataraku Maou-sama are pretty good for their first episodes, though. And also, JC staff's new work, Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko has a pretty good premise.

Started watching Nichijou. HOW THE [bleep] DO PEOPLE CONSIDER K-ON BETTER THAN THIS? Nichijou is among the BEST of KyoAni's works, following Hyouka and Haruhi. Seriously, since SKET Dance I have never watched a show that made me laugh so hard. Its cuteness, randomness and the ability to make mundane things awesome is WAY OVER THE TOP. NICHIJOU FOR THE WIN.

League of Legends
It is highly recommended to play and own several champs of each role (bruiser top, jungler, AP mid, AD bot, support bot), as well as getting runepages for them before even considering ranked. Make sure the champs you want to try aren't permbanned on ranked. The champs currently being Malphite, Shen, Amumu and Blitzcrank. (Why do people ban Blitz over Thresh, geez...) Don't start buying runes until summoner level 20, where you have access to tier 3 runes. Buy the following. Marks x9 (red): - attack damage for lasthitting as an AD carry. - magic penetration for tanks, supports and AP mids. - armor penetration can be useful on some AD carries and junglers. - attack speed for junglers. Seals x9 (yellow): - mana regen PER LEVEL for AP mids. - health PER LEVEL for AP mids that don't require mana. - armor for everyone else. Glyphs x9 (blue): - ability power PER LEVEL for aggressive/burst AP. - cooldowns if you are Nasus, Veigar or Sion. Some supports might find this handy earlygame too. - magic resist for defensive AP. - magic resist PER LEVEL for everyone else. Quintessences x3 (big ones): - attack damage for AD. - ability power for AP. - gold per 10 sec for supports. - movement speed for everyone else, tanks and melee characters mainly. - health if your abilities benefit from HP, this is mostly an earlygame benefit though. - armor penetration can be useful for jungling, but not too sure. - magic penetration can also be useful for jungling, but again, not too sure. If you really want to get one kind of rune first, I suggest you get these first. Red: a choice between attack damage, magic penetration and armor penetration, you decide. Yellow: armor Blue: magic resist PER LEVEL Quintessences: movement speed I'm normally against making ingame purchases with real money, but buying the 7 rune page bundle will save you a LOT of much needed grinding, so buy that if possible. Spending IP on rune pages just takes way too long. Spend IP on runes and champions instead. Did I confuse you enough? :3

Manga/Anime Discussion
I always thought the porn was an ancillary sort of thing, to get money from the stereotypical anime market. It's actually kind of an interesting idea to fund something that otherwise would be strapped for the cash production can require. Maybe a different incentive would be better, though. I think the anime produers are doing this because without anime stepping in, H-games and visual novels probably won't have a market o_O I'm not saying it's a bad thing for anime to be based off VN's. In fact I find it better as such. Anime is also how I have gotten into light novels for a while. I never knew they existed. Watching Hyouka now. Seems to be a pretty good mystery slice of life anime so far. By the way, am I the only one who prefers JC Staff's works to KyoAni's?

How long would it take to get 70+ all stats in f2p again? I might come back to this game assuming Jagex doesn't perm ban me again. Playing on my skiller, of course. I'm already 50+ all non-combat stats & 85 dg. How long would it take to get BOTH the non-combats and the combats to 70? (Moreover, is it worth it?)
