You should always join a clan though, so you can get a vexillum that gives you free teleports whenever. Still, there are plenty of other clans out there. There's a reason why I joined the clan I'm currently in, it's because of the people in it. I love to chat when scaping even if I know it will distract me quite a bit.

You don't need your own runes for the box. In fact I was too lazy to even charge it, and one day I was like "hey let's try to see if it works". And surprisingly enough, it did. However, if you REALLY wish to mage, you must have the following items: - arcane blast necklace - gravite staff - magical blastbox It's to maximize DPS on magic, as it is the worst out of the three ;)

I do it if I meet a level 110+ opponent, against people who only mage I just stand in the middle and don't even bother healing lol. I just bring my bow + rapier, addy arrows, amulet of zealots, and blastbox/necklace/staff, and I'm ready for the kill :twisted:

Fist of Guthix is sooooo much fun. Easy rating and tokens for most opponents. And when I don't get an easy opponent, houses are ftw. Drives them crazy each time.

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN :blink: I'm so ashamed of still not able to get sub 10 minutes ;_; Anyways, a few tidbits I found out in FOG. The blastbox works just like it would normally, as well as the extra damage splat every 5 turns. Also, trapping your opponents behind a rock is so useful if they are meleeing only, with a fast weapon. It decreases their DPS so much it guarantees me a win no matter what level :thumbup: Houses are surprisingly useful to hide from your opponent, in fact I made a level 124 quit because they can't find me :D got 1.4k charges that round too.

Oo dicing. Good luck with that. Countless people I know got their bank cleaned from that haha.

Tiaras give faster exp rates and should be considered if you don't mind losing a few gp's. Earths with runecrafting gloves are a good way to gain decent experience as well as keeping your gp pile intact though.

I'm kind of short on money at the moment and I suck at merchanting so I have to stick it out through the slow but profiting way <_< oh well. Thank goodness Fist of Guthix is something that is actually fun, even if it is doing the same thing over and over again.

May go for 99 rcing. However it would take me over 1750 hours, a good portion of it playing Fist of Guthix. LOL WAT DO.

I'm kind of thinking to go for 99 runecrafting, but I don't really know yet. It will help me obtain lots of FOG ratings, tokens, and combat experience in the long run though. At a rate of 100 tokens/hr and 150 rating/hr, and with each pair of gloves costing 75 tokens (13k rc xp), it would take me 1000 pair of gloves to earn enough for 99 which is 75k tokens and around 100k rating or so. That's roughly around 750 hours spent FOGing alone. Now the actual rcing is around a 13k xp/hr rate too if I did earth gloves. That means it's around 1000 hours of time to get to 99, maybe a bit more to keep going back and forth for those gloves. Crazy rates eh? <_<
