Correct me if I wrong but you created this thread in order to prove that you have "rediscovered" a better method of runecrafting and now you make this statement. All this is telling us is despite there being a better method of runecrafting, you are sticking to your ways because you are "different". I am sorry but hardly anyone cares if you prefer a certain method because you are different, when there are better faster ways available. You know many of us could have tested this method out just to prove you wrong but it would be a waste of our time since it is so blatantly obvious that this method is undoubtedly slower. Sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't think you've rediscovered an ingenious method with the store-running. It was 456 for 30 mins work with loads of lag (including being logged out) with only 2 pouches and no familiar. I didnt want to have "rediscovered an ingenious method" just the gen store method maybe more profitable (due to the lack of buying tele tabs and pouches etc) and much less complex then abyss or Graahks (in my 1st post I never mentioned this method btw) I like to do things that make me the most money even at the comprimise of a few minutes in the most simple manner. like con for example I will make imp statues cos you can do it for free, its not great exp but its free! Tell you what let this thread die out but hopefully not get deleted untill I get the other pouches and the correct summoning level then I'll test it. If every body was like you we would still be living in caves thinking we were the only 1's that exsisted. They could be to busy doing it the other ways. There always has to be a person to discover something (I know Im not the 1st to use this method) so I could be the 1st to re-discover this method. Yes it has been tested before but I'm betting that was before the drummer was placed there. I bet the 1st person to discover the Graahks method didn't have this much trouble convincing people his way was better. Sorry for sticking my head above the parapet. Tbh with you I couldn't care less about my max hit. I really couldn't give a flying fox if my max hit is 10 or 20. Its that type of attitude which makes me say str is over-rated, people hunting the next highest max hit possable and doing everything in there power to get it. I think its a childish thrill, but thats only my opinoin. I would prefer to hit 10 (or less) 10 times than a string of 0's with a 60 mixed in some were. Just look at my stats, do they say to you im botherd about str? Its only only that high cos I had even stats (70, 70, 70) now im going for 95 att followed by 95 def and str can stay were it is till I have finished all the quests, then and only then will I 99 att, then 99 def thn 99 str. This is majorly off topic so im going to stop talking about it :D

Ill get the other 2 pouches, get the abyssal parasite go on during a mid-day weekday and test it properly and see what happens. How did you work out the cost of the duel ring? I think I should re-test that on moday mid-day, atleast that way I wont lose connection, grrr. In 30 mins, with 2 pouches and no familiars (obviously) I got 456 nats. Bearing in mind the lag problems I think that pretty good.

Does that take in to account the new musician so you can non-stop run. Before that musician was put there it was definitely slower but due to the drummer I think it needs to be re-tested, in fact Ill jump online now and try it for 30 mins. EDIT: I do only have 2 pouches though.

Ardy!?!?! Im not assuming people get summoning levels just for rcing, im not stupid. We are just talking about rcing though so mentioning other skills IS stupid. I mentioned getting the summoning levels cos it is a way of making nats so talking about summoning levels isn't irrelevant. 10 seconds is nothing. My combat skills are my 2nd,3rd and 4th highest and my summoning is 28. Thats irrelevant. You could be right and it could be quicker to tele around like Dr Who in fast forward but can't you accept you could be wrong and the way I'm suggesting could be quicker and maybe involve less clicking? You don't need to do this anymore. An npc will unnote your essense for 2gp per ess. Exactly. No matter what method you use, you still have to go out of your way to repair the pouches. Rings of dueling eat in to profit, at 1.6k per ring thats 56 nats wasted per ring. I bet in the time it takes you to recharge all of your glories I could atleast do half a run with ALOT less clicking. You also have to waste time getting level 89 to use that method. The only time I waste is getting my rc level high enough to make nats. The only thing I need to recharge is my run energy, which takes like 10 seconds. Take into account the time it takes to get the summoning level? Plus the cost of shards, pouches etc. Take into account the time it takes to get the GOP tabs? EDIT: I use glories for my method but I only have to use 2 charges every so often and thats to tele to edgeville then run to the abyss to repair my pouches then I tele back to karamja and carry on crafting. So 10 glories will last me weeks, let alone 28!

To be honest I think the ways of getting runecrafting up using nats are so complex and involve so much tele-ing that it would probably be the same number (if not less) of clicks to do the general store way than to tele round the place especially since there is a musician right next to the store now. Think about it, say for arguments sake you buy 1 glory at the ge and run to the abyss, run to the nature portal, click the alter and the pouches, then glory back. You can do that for times then you have to either buy a new glory or run to the guild and dip it in the fountain and start over again. I know people have more than 1 glory but you still waste time doing it and its more clicks. The general store way you get double the amount of gp than ess (1k ess - 2k gp)note all your ess except a full inv then its 9 clicks to the alter (if I remember correctly), click the alter and pouches, 9 clicks back, talk to the store owner (have to use the correct number to convert from note to ess, so if you got 10 spaces click 10 or less other wise it wont work) run to the musician and wait then repeat. It's less complex than it sounds and I bet it's quicker. With my agility level I usually end up with about 30 energy left, you could even cut out using the musician 3 times if you take the explorer ring 3 with you. I would test this out but I don't have the level in summoning and the quests to use the fairy rings. (I didn't know were to put this, it was either here or debate. Sorry if I chose wrong)

Use guthans to get the summoning level :D In the long run guthans will be more expensive due to repairing it but its a cheap start. Summoning starts off being expensive but once you have the level theres no need to carry on paying. Summoning also gets your total levels up and your combat level.

You can get the talisman's from the baby/kid monkey for free like in the monkey madness quest. I think its the talisman's anyway. :? When you tell it you lost it's toy it cries for about a minute then when you talk to it again it gives it to you.

Ive read a few things that suggest that, yes. It seems the best method is to range all the way through so wearing guthans will lower your range bonus and take up inv space.
