  1. I mean mine then sell it.
  2. Take advantage like I am, just go and mine ess and sell it instead of buying it. I am doing the same with yews atm.
  3. It seems the 26k trick is pushin prices up soon they will drop like a stone though, I bet
  4. No, no, no. Rune defender is BETTER than Dragonfire shield. You are taking less damage due to faster kills, and gaining more experience as well. Dragonfire shield is, for all intents and purposes, overpriced crap. Dear god, 90% of the Runescape community is deluded. I don't claim to know which is best but it seems it's a case of every body else is wrong and your right ... [/hide] Simple fact is: Extensive testing by myself and other people have consistantly showed rune defender far outwieghing Dragonfire shield. Well I could say I have done extensive testing and a few other's have come to same conclusion that the defender is crap, were is the proof? This is off topic since the headline of the thread is about dragon armour. You could...but you would be lying, wheras many people ACTUALLY have tested the two with the result that a rune def is better. But you are right, this topic has gotten off track. I thought the fact I was lying was implyed, sorry.

  7. Why do people ruin the irony of my name? Its perfeTC. On topic: nerf means to make usless or less powerfull, so nerfing armour would be the total opposite of what you want to happen.
  8. Not really a show off item, every body and there dog seems to have 1 ... except me of course lol
  9. I might give it a shot and see what its like ... never hurt to try it.
  10. The only reason they're useful is the specs - to be honest, a whip and defender or obby shield is by far a better option. I used an SGS for a short while yesterday on attack and the attack rate is much slower than a whip (i thought) and i kept getting owned by my slayer assignments. Unless you have Bandos/Barrows armour for defence bonus, i'd stick with the whip. I think the obby shield is crap tbh, its only used cos of the str bonus and the defender seems like way to much trouble to get. Too much trouble? Damn... What on earth do you use then? A rune kite?... A god book?... The defender is the best shield slot weapon in the game... Not only does it give a huge boost on attack, it also improve strength. Its really easy to get... Just kill stuff, then more stuff, then be patient. I have never cared for str and never will. 1) I never said they were hard to get just to much effort. 2) they don't seem worth the effort to get.

  12. I applaud you for that. xD I actually laughed at my computer. Yes, yes it is. Its the word filter.
  13. second off all rune defender is not a shield, third off all its only gud for str bonuses, forth of all dfs is better then defender it got str bonuses and defence bonuses I agree the defender isn't a shield in a conventional sense but it deos go in the shield slot. I think that is what is meant by it being a shield. On the topic of how good a defender is I cant comment cos I don't even have a bronze defener but I am aware that defence is more or less a usless skill so all out attack doesn't seems like a bad idea.
  14. Thank you. I have got a whip but I was just wondering incase I want 1 of them in future cos they are "the ultimate weapon", apparently.
  15. Can you train attack and defence with a godsword?
  16. I have heard you dont need ep for decent drops.
  17. Oh so similar.
  18. I agree with this part of your post. So you want a armour which improves an already extremely underpowerd skill to improve that skill less ... the title of the thread is "Defence Apparently is Useless" not "how can we make defence more usless" People are already dieing in a few seconds and you want to decrease that time even further? Why not just get rid of armour, its already bearly effective as it is. Some people think denfence is that usless they dont even train it! Why not just nerf str that would solve all our problems, we wouldn't be able hit over 1 so fights would last hours! Or have no str skill and just have str bonuses so we could maybe hit 5 or 6. God think of the outrage that would cause with so many people drooling over there high hits
  19. Dragon full helm and plate body has 30 (ish) defense less on all 3 melee, about 60 less on ranged and about 20 summoning than guthans. (all barrows are about the same def) Dragon plate has about 30 (ish) more defense in stab and slash (10 more in crush), about 30 better in range and 2 better in summoning than dragon chain. Hope that helps. :
  20. I would try alching it gives constant exp (no splashing) and some items mean you lose very little, if your lucky you may even profit.
  21. Like making animals wear clothing :-# A fine example ... another is little britian. OT: I was having an argument with a noob who thought the legends cape was statistically better than an obby cape but worse than an untrimmed skill cape ....
  22. How the hell do you use them? just place them facing the correct direction right next to the enemy squad? cos I placed mine a few squares away and sweet F.A happend.
  23. There the forrest looking things around the map just scroll your mouse over non-grass looking parts and you should see a special terrain or something. (I am going off the memory of 1 game over 12 hours ago though!)
  24. I've only played 1 game so I wasn't sure. Seems chompas are the best then.
  25. From what i've read gliders hit 1 squad and chompas hit more than 1 squad. Im not sure if there all stood on the same spot it will just hit the top 1 or not.
