Typical [bleep]y F2Per. The reason that you want something new is because you arn't satisfied with being given a decent quality game with a variety of different things to do for free. You want updates that reward you for playing (mostly with no gain for Jagex). 85 in F2P doesn't take long in any skill other than Runecrafting.

I know, but i tend to post on the RS forums a lot when trying to buy mass amounts of items. I may add a signature, it depends how i find the forums.

You're welcome.. Why the mysterious hiding RSN thing? :shock: :? I signed up to another forum and started getting scammers contacting me daily with a signature like yours. I didn't ever fall for it, but it was like an annoying buzz that would never go away. Not so mysterious :P Well, i had noticed they had been at 17gp each (they are currently 8 market and 9 max) and thought that they should continue to rise for atleast 1 - 2 days at 2 - 3 gp a day. If they were traded a lot, i could just buy 500k seeds and leave them to rise for a few days. And thanks also :D

Oh, i am P2P but i would rather not give out my RSN. The main reason i wanted to know is so that i could merchant them. They rose 33% today and don't look like they will be stopping anytime soon. But it seems that they arn't traded much and therefore arn't fantastic to merchant with. And thanks :P

Hi, i remember a while back you could range ice trolls on Jatizo from behind some mining rocks. I tried to go there yesterday, but i couldn't safe spot them. Have Jagex patched this spot? If so, why?

What is it since the PVP/trade limit updates? They have fixed one thing only to make another horrific [bleep] up. They are idiots and would be better off just reverting to the 2k5 game engine and fixing PVP. That way the game is the way it was best and there are no credit card issues for Jagex,

You may think this, but the truth is that Jagex are baby sitting players too much. When it comes down to it, people don't have a clue who is a scammer and who isn't. Jagex have all of these dungeons and crap to try and teach people how to protect their accounts, but no one comes out any better. I could go make a phisher right now and get just as many accounts as i could 4 years ago. The in-game players may be better off but once Jagex is out of the equation it is far easier to fool people now.

Hi, just wondering about what shop stocks you guys think need to be changed. Personally, i think the amount of bone bolts is outrageous. 10 bolts isn't even enough to kill most monsters.

I did it on my old main with 32 prayer and only 36 range. I had no help from friends, i just had a little higher HP, defence and more cash to spend on it. Perhaps if i got a cannon the demon would be no problem, but it is the archers that i am worried about...

at least 20k def exp for completing it. No you can't do it with those stats.... Lies. You don't have to accept the experience.

Hi, i have just finished Tree Gnome Village and The Grand Tree on my pure. I am 46 attack, 37 strength, 27 hp, 33 magic and 20 range. I am 1 prayer. Do you guys think i stand a chance at Monkey Madness? Have you had any experience completing it on a low level account? If so, any tips?

People like to think they do, but the majority of sane botters that don't 24/7 it will hardly ever get banned. EDIT: I have several accounts that i bot on and i am yet to be banned on.

Me too, I'll always prefer the 2005 graphics over the new graphics. I like HD, but don't play on it that much because I prefer things looking the old way. It does nothing to SD but create more glitches usually. I mean look at the chatheads: before the huge HD update they looked completely fine, but now after the update Jagex added shading to the chat-heads making them look worse (in Standard Detail) then before imho. In that picture, I prefer the image on the left more because it looks alot more detailed and "Runescapish" imo. The ground and walls look alot more textured, and the standing/walking/running animations looked better (the current ones are good, I just prefer the old ones) ~Darth Totally agree. I think that graphic updates have also changed the feel of the game in general. It seems less medieval in my opinion (which ruins a part of the game for me).

I agree with a lot of the points on this thread, especially that it is good graphics for a Java game. But for me, the updated graphics on RS are FAR more laggy than the old high quality. It is now as if i am being forced to play on a laggier game. Do you guys think it would be a good idea to have the option of old graphics?

People say, "Runescape, yeah, it's good...it has terrible graphics though." Well, now it doesn't have terrible graphics. So yeah. Plus, the graphics team and the content team are comprised of different people, so it's not like content is just being sacrificed for graphics. Nothing wrong with making stuff look nicer if it isn't getting in the way of new quests and stuff. I suppose you have a point, but it is still behind in graphcis :S. It is one of the best browser games, but you can get games such as Shaiya and Last Chaos that are 100% free with amazing graphics. I just feel the only thing keeping people from those games was the gameplay, which has recently gone to crap.

But does improving the appeal of the game actually improve it? RS has been behind in graphics for many years, it never stopped it from becoming one of the top MMORPGs around.
