  1. This is the other special attack. I noticed it was included in the Bestiary, but not the guide. I'll update in a while for max void mage with SoA on Glacytes.
  2. Buying BA! My horn has been empty for about the past month. This is simply not acceptable :wall:
  3. Wow, didn't expect to see that at all lol. At least when I inevitably get it, I won't be COMPLETELY shocked :^_^: Seeing this thread did make me curious though, and I saw the Bestiary is missing two of the drops I have logged. Aaaaand I just realized I didn't screenie the noted Dwarf Weed herbs. Does anyone else have a pic of those to confirm?
  4. The RuneScape Gamebar is only supported on Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. Oddly enough, they promoted playing RuneScape on Google Chrome, and the Gamebar doesn't work with it.
  5. Setups aren't bad at all. The suggestions mentioned above are good. I personally use the north spot at Tormented Demons because it's an easy lure, and if you run into trouble, there's quite a big safe spot to hide in.
  6. Yes, absolutely get a surgebox. Every 5th hit adds 50% more damage at glacors rather than 25% more damage that a surgebox usually does everywhere else.
  7. I don't believe Void Mage should be used only if "you're completely broke." Also, if you're using a PPS/SoA for Glacytes, the extra switch argument is moot. I don't know why Seeker was so opposed to Void Mage. It's been noted before that nobody is sure exactly how Void Mage works even on Xp-Waste, so I doubt Seeker's calculations are accurate. I get 55 Kills/Hour in Void Mage, and that's with looting. The only way I would upgrade from Void Mage is with full Virtus. Also with Ahrim's, you have to worry about degrades, having a spare set if you die, etc.
  8. It was in the most recent patch notes. They increased the task amount because a lot of people suggested adding more to the task. 8 Mith dragons is pretty low for a task
  9. Contrary to popular belief, Void Mage is actually pretty good. Definitely get a Surgebox. If you use a Unicorn, you shouldn't need to use a safe spot. Not praying melee on the Glacytes ends up bringing you down about 200 lp at most, unless you get hit by Unstable's special. I use a Steel Titan without luring right now, and surviving off Soul Split is pretty easy. But you're right, a Steel Titan adds a lot of apm, but brings much faster kills. If you're using PPS or SoA for Glacytes, go for max mage gear (Seer's (i), Ragefires, Arcane Stream). Ardy Cloak 3/4 is a pretty good cape because it gives mage and prayer bonus, and doesn't disappear when you die. As mentioned before, the farther away Enduring is from the main Glacor, the more damage you will hit on it. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask :) Merry Christmas
  10. Congrats on 99 Magic and max combat!
  11. It goes with it but a penance horn is better. I'm bad :(. But nobody wants to BA and I was 30k from 90. Omg, I know right? I've been out of horn charges for the last two weeks. I did last weeks rocks without horn charge, and I felt horrible lol. I'm always willing to BA
  12. I've been doing Glacors quite a bit since their release, and after becoming quite experienced at them, I noticed that a few things need changed in the Glacor guide. Worn items: First off, a Celestial Surgebox from Dungeoneering should be used with all setups, as it saves 3 inventory spaces as well as doing extra damage on Glacors/Glacytes. A Deflector should not be used in any circumstances over a CSB. I should also mention that a CSB does extra damage on the 5th consecutive hit on any monster, but on Glacors, it does higher extra damage. Normally a CSB does 25% damage of the 5th consecutive hit, but at Glacors, it does 50% damage of the 5th hit. Also, a Chaotic Staff would be optimal, as would an Ardougne Cloak 3/4 paired with a Chaotic Rapier. I noticed that the current setup picture has dragon boots, a fire cape, and a berserker ring. I think a fully mage based worn setup is quite a lot better, with a few switches during the Glacyte stage. This is the optimal setup. Possibly a Seers (i), but with a Berserker (i) switch for Glacytes. I use Onyx (i) though, as it gets the job done just as good, with one less switch. Inventory: It may also be note-worthy to add that you can sustain your health just from Soul Split, and use a DDS for one special per kill on Enduring, rather than use an EEE. With 3 Prayer Renewals, 10 Regular prayer potions is enough for 3 overloads, assuming deflect/soul split and leech magic/turmoil every kill. This is the optimal inventory for the previous setup. I get ~55 kills per hour with this setup. Other than the gear, the guide looks absolutely wonderful. Good descriptions of what to do, what to avoid, etc. There is one attack missing though, but it is extremely rare. If by chance, the Glacor uses it's melee attack, sometimes it will perform another special attack. This attack is similar to To'Kash the Bloodchiller's special in Dungeoneering. You will be incased in a block of ice, and if you don't "escape," it will hit a fair amount of damage on you. As rare as it is, I don't think this is game-changing by any means, but it does happen once in a great while. I can provide images of this attack if needed. That's all I can think of for now, hope this helps!
  13. I recall you saying the Arcane didn't go well with the Gold Mining Suit when I wore it :shame:
  14. Definitely do all the spells on Livid Farm, even if they don't give you xp. At the max rate of 18,960 produce per hour, you will already be spending just over 7.5 hours there. Not worth the extra time spent at Livid to not do the basic spells. As mentioned before, the distractions don't help, so you won't need to do them.
  15. It may be worth noting that on Livid Farm, the most Produce you can gain is 18,960 per hour. There is no way to go faster, as the the minigame is based on 60 second cycles. To unlock all spells, a total of just under 45 hours of gameplay must be spent at Livid Farm.
  16. Congrats on 138 combat and all max melees! 99 Magic right around the corner I presume?
  17. I'd like to comment on this, but I still need dreadnips
  18. Yes, very different than convential mage spells. PPS has next to no delay. It's amazing using Steel Titan with PPS + Rapier, because you can Titan spec pretty much whenever lol.
  19. But but but but, gold looks better! Anyway, I dunno if you do TD's much anymore, but it appears PPS is extremely good there, more effective and cheaper than range
  20. Did Beacons the other day with oaks, had plenty of time left. As long as you have all logs in before you start lighting, and a Goblin Village Sphere, you can probably do them with normal logs.
  21. I got one of these the other day. You can tell it's fake just from the e-mail. They start out with "Dear Player." Jagex e-mails have "Dear *specified nickname/username*." Also, as said before, another giveaway is the .com.cm link. It almost got me
  22. As stated above, pick two favorite worlds, and keep to those two. Other than that, possibly go to a world a friend is on, that way when you log into lobby, you can see which world he/she is on.
  23. Congrats on 100 dg! Good luck on BN/Hex :P
