Gearing up for a hellhounds task now...Should I be using ragefires instead of steads because they have a greater melee defence? (Sort of goes back to the "how siginificant is ~30 def rating" question)

Prestige is one of the biggest things that determines how much xp you will get from a floor. It used to be that if you completed a floor after it was already checked off your prestige would be 0, which would pretty much halve your xp. But since doing a floor will now check off any other undone floors of the same theme, your prestige will only be 0 if you complete a floor and all the other floors of the same theme are done too. You should reset your progress only after all of your available floors are checked off. You can complete lower floors quickly by doing them in small c1 mode. (You could also try c6, I don't know how good the xp is now with the dungeoneering xp adjustments.) Tl;dr: Reset after all your floors are checked off.

I have all chaotics including shield etc. so that's not a problem. But how significant is a ~30 defence rating? (eg: 42 mage defence for glaivens vs. 13 mage defence for steads - as far as I can tell that is the only difference between the glacor boots.) Also, how much of a dps increase will 0.3% crit bonus offer?

I haven't really been keeping up with RS in the past few months so I don't really know what gear I need now. :< - Should I keep all 3 glacor boots? - Are the 3 imbued fremmy rings worth it over onyx (i)?

Hello Tui, I enjoyed reading about your progress thus far. Your achievements are very impressive. I remember when I did a large dungeon in less than fifteen minutes with you. :') Anway, you're bad at this game. I hope whoever planted that Belladona kills you because it would be hilarious! :)

None of my deaths have been particularly expensive/embarassing, but there are a few bad ones from my noob days (inb4 you're still a noob jokes) that spring to mind. Once I was at the wizards south of Fally when someone told me that he would pay me 10k after I killed a certain number of them. Every time I reached the number he would raise it. When I got low on HP I ran to my bank in search of food, but the only thing I had was a cup of tea. However, I was desperate (and stupid), so I went back to kill more wizards. I eventually died and lost the majority of my bank (green dhide/mithril sets). :wall:
