What do you hate being asked the most?
"Don't tase me bro!" is one of the more amusing ones I get occasionally. Other than that, most annoying is people asking to borrow/barrow/lend my claws. They're MY claws, I'll lend them out if I want.

The Back Room
There have been worse. Like the day when there was peace in Hegeomny and Ross had a day off from Dungeoneering. And those were the only two games anyone really cared to play at the time.

The Rising of the Undead
Have humans build bridges.

The Rising of the Undead
Simple. You have to operate a Ponzi scheme. Keep invading cities and making troops and sending those troops to invade more cities, before you run out of corpses. Then the whole game crashes because all the cities are destroyed. Which is why you make your humans build more cities. And invade the cities of everyone else.

The Rising of the Undead
I made that rule to keep myself from being overwhelmed by massive numbers of corpses piling up everywhere. And because humans are annoying and rebellious, and the undead are morons. And Edel, you gave most of your undead commands they could not understand, i.e. "Turn into ravens and hypnotise people!" Your vampires misunderstood you, and your zombies, being the morons that zombies are, decided to just convert everyone. Hey, at least you got some units out of it. Icu, research into new units is basically "I have my scientists mess around with genetics on X number of corpses and see what happens." (I was going to make a wolverine unit later anyways, though.) Mather, you gotta pick a city to start in. Everyone: Human rebellion odds are calculated with all the humans you have and whatever monster units are not invading/doing recon/diplomacy. Oh yeah, and I would much appreciate battle plans being PMed to me instead of posted on the thread, so I don't have to go thread digging.

The Rising of the Undead
Alright, finished crunching the numbers for what everyone's corpses and such are. We've got: Icu - 720 corpses, 5t1Vamipres, 2t1humans Earth - 425 corpses, 5t2Vampires, 3t1Humans Iey - 625 corpses, 3t1Zombies, 2t1Vampires, 1t1Mummy, 2t1Humans, 1t2vampire Edel - 0 corpses, 5t1mummies, 4t1vampire, 3t1zombie, 1t1human Icu, you didn't get to buy 5 t1 humans and 5 t1 zombies because you didn't have the corpses for that. Plus, I'm thinking about making humans non-buyable with corpses...

The Rising of the Undead
New units must be researched before I add them. And believe me, I have plenty to add. Mwahaha. You start with 1000 corpses, a capital city, and 10 t1 starting units of your choice. You missed the first year though.

The Rising of the Undead
Earth. Crunching the numbers is MY job.

The Rising of the Undead
Costs 50 corpses going from t1 to t2. You still have to have the unit in the first place. Plus higher-tier units use up more corpses. And I did a year-update, meaning people got some extra corpses from their human armies as well..... Oh screw it, I'll just have to go thread diving. Because with the initial corpse-count and human units giving extra corpses, I don't know if you guys know entirely how many corpses you have XD

The Rising of the Undead
Aw crud, I forgot to save my Notepad document with everyone's stats and stuff.... Crud. If people wouldn't mind saying what armies they currently have...?
-
The Rising of the Undead
A t2 unit costs 50 corpses, and gives the following: +1 to any stat that was at 3 +0 to any stat that was at 2 *0.5 to any stat that was at 1 +1 to all stats regardless +50 corpses/year needed to maintain +5% to positive occurrences +2.5% to neutral occurrences -5% to negative occurrences In the order of that list. Of course, those are for the undead units. Human units are different - they can only be upgraded with time.
-
The Rising of the Undead
You still gotta feed your units from last round, but you gain some from your humans this round. If you manage to get control over enough humans, you can get a crapton of units. Considering that a t1 human unit produces 50 corpses/year, and that higher tier human units would produce even more...
-
The Rising of the Undead
100 corpses per new t1 unit.

The Rising of the Undead

The Rising of the Undead
I FEEXED EET. The way I calculate rebellion is (number of humans/number of undead) * 0.5 = the chance that your humans will revolt. You had 3 human units, and 3 undead units. So you have a 50% chance of a revolt. You were unlucky, and they revolted.

The Rising of the Undead
Icu's vampires are taken into the city, where the nurses treating them for the "unknown illness" are promptly used to spread the vampiric virus. Soon, the city has surrendered to Icu's vampires, giving him another t1 vampire unit and 2 more t1 human units. Meanwhile, the humans in Icu's capital revolt and slay their zombie guards, rapidly taking over the city. Word of the fall of Icu's capital reaches his vampires, who set up the newly enslaved city as the new capital. Earth's vampires attack the city, easily removing its leaders and placing themselves there instead. Earth gains 3 t1 human units. However, all the humans slaving away in Earth's capital with no guards decide to revolt. See Icu's report for what your vampires do next. Edel's vampires think he's on some funny drugs for thinking they can turn into ravens and sedate people. However, they fly into a nearby city at night anyways, and, using some odd tactics that include launching a zombie through the mayor's chimney, manage to overrun the city and turn everyone there into either a vampire or zombie. His humans, under the watchful eye of 5 mummy units, have no thoughts of rebellion. Iey's vampires return with large amounts of intel on both cities. One of them is generally strong and tactically flawed, while the other is tactically advantaged but incredibly weak. The units she sent to invade a different city fared well also. The zombie distraction went well, and seeing their mayor held hostage by a vampire, the citizens of the city unanimously decided to become servants of Iey's undead empire. After this vote, the vampire unit carried out the rest of their orders, and infected a bunch of people. The humans in Iey's capital, however, revolt against their zombie and mummy oppressors and run for freedom, escaping to continents unknown in a rapidly fashioned boat. Summary of Icu's Invasion: +1 t1 vampire unit +2 t1 human unit -1 t1 zombie unit -5 t1 human units Summary of Earth's Invasion: +3 t1 human units -5 t1 human units Summary of Edel's Invasion: +1 t1 vampire unit +3 t1 zombie units Summary of Iey's Invasion: +1 t1 vampire unit +2 t1 human units -3 t1 human units New, updated map: Oh, and everyone finds a massive stack of corpses next to their capital city - 1000 per, to be exact. (I forgot to put in some initial cash so that you guys could actually survive :-# )

The Rising of the Undead
Hmm.... Replying with results may be more difficult than I thought. I'll post the results early, but any reactions made must be saved until tomorrow. Earth and Icu, you're both aiming for enslaved cities then, correct? And it appears Edel is aiming for a Ravaged city... And Iey, I forgot to mention something else - you can make 100 corpses become a t1 unit of any type. THERE IS SO MUCH STUFF I FORGOT TO PUT ON FRONTPAGE
-
The Rising of the Undead
Cows that can build bridges. And that's what Enslaved cities are - humans that exist solely for the purpose of working until they are too weak to do so. Then they get eaten. And alright Iey, let me run my numbers.
-
The Rising of the Undead
If that's what you're doing, Iey, then why not scout out multiple cities? Unless you think your human population is THAT eager to rebel... And Icu, see what I said to Earth. I need tactics, how you intend to leave the city... And I forgot to mention one vital thing. Any monster population not being used to scout/invade/spy/some other military task is automatically assigned to watch the humans and prevent them from rebelling. The less guards you have on the humans, the more likely they are to rebel. And I'm adding a bit more to the human class. Simply that they provide 100 * 1.1 * ( the amount of years the unit has existed - 1) amount of corpses when slaughtered.
-
The Rising of the Undead
Earth, I need to know what tactics you want them to use, or whether you'll just let them come up with their own tactics as they go. I also want to know how you intend to leave the city - Ravaged or Enslaved. And Iey, that's just fine. Attacking a city would be more viable right now, though.
-
The Rising of the Undead
Do you want french fries with that a specific city? Or do you not care?
-
The Rising of the Undead
IRRELEVANT. (I didn't think of a number for this.) 5 tier 1 vampire units would be more than enough to invade some cities. Other cities, however, would be more difficult, depending on how you decide to take the city down. And you can't do espionage in human cities; they'd notice your units carrying around corpses as if they were sandwiches. Now, in other players' cities, espionage may be feasible....
-
The Rising of the Undead
It's 5 UNITS of vampires. As in squadrons, armies, whatever. And okay Icu, time for me to do mah math.... You'll know tomorrow how well you did. I just realized that you think they're individual vampires. They're not, as I just stated to Earth.
-
The Rising of the Undead
Yes, you can invade. That's the point of the game; to invade and conquer every city on the map.
