Kemios takes it to the Ivory Tower and asks the mages if they know anything about it. If they know everything about it, Kemios asks them for that information. If they don't, he gives them a small piece of the metal to study, perform tests on, etc.

Kemios tests this metal for basic properties. (resistance to heat, if it's brittle, resistance to magic, malleability, any other special things it can do) (If this is cesium, I'm going to interwebz-punch you, Archi.)

Kemios attempts again to turn a burnt tree into metal other than iron. (Because he doesn't need any more iron....)

Kemios takes the iron back to his castle (he's got loads of the stuff now, hahaha....) and then goes to where Grim had previously caused a forest fire. He attempts to turn some of the scarred remnants of trees into metal other than iron.

Kemios gets bored and returns to turning trees into varying types of metal.

So they finally tell us. Very nice. So now we know the ring of wealth is only good for moderate to low slayer tasks, like fire giants, goraks, and warped tortoises. Meh, better than having the thing be completely useless. Because, after all, when bosshunting, you're not after the drops on the consistent rare table (the one affected by ring of wealth), you're after a specific rare drop from a specific monster.

I just don't want to play on a space arena with guns. Leaves less room for creativity and more for "I'm standing right next to you so I shoot your brains out."

Anyone else think that managing multiple threads is causing for all three threads to slowly die off?

After 9 or so tries, I finally killed that idiot. Questcape is mine again! And just to add to the "database of levels used in killing nomad," I used void range, ruby and diamond (e) bolts, eagle eye + steel skin and sara brews all the way until he went beserk, when I switched to prot melee + piet + void melee + zammy spear. I also used Redemption when he did the max hp-1 hit, as well as hiding from the 75 attack and the clones. I currently have 80 range, if that's a record or anything. I did feel that I got very lucky with ruby (e) specs activating, though....
