GNU Image Manipulation Program, I think. It's free, it's complicated, and it has more options for doing stuff than my lawn has dead grass.

Stork uses printer paper, a pencil, a scanner, and GIMP.

The lines were actually a pain and a half to make the way I did it. There's probably a better way, but I haven't figured that out yet. That isn't supposed to be Jen. That's a character produced by Stork's Character Generator that's going to end up being killed repeatedly in the practice comic. I'll pull up the Notepad document and give you the info on that character later today, if you want. And it would seem the consensus is to keep with the non-linear style, of which I actually approve because making the line was a giant pain in the ass.

If I do go back to using lines, I will be trying to add some variation in line length. Also, on a mildly related note, I'm working towards bringing a pretty much useless tablet back to useful capacity. So the pictures might start looking even more different sometime soon.

Which is what a lot of people in my school fail to understand. Nope. Sheep, the whole lot of 'em I say. This is why we go to college early - so we can skip all the unnecessary high school nonsense and just get on with the relevant stuff. Because if a college degree's only going to get you a job at McD's, what's a highschool diploma or equivalent gonna get you?

My opinions: Capes of Distinction - Veteran cape looks nasty, IMO. I'm hoping that the 70s-80s-90s-max capes have some decent stats. Otherwise, it's another cosmetic update that we really don't need. Dwarf Lava Flow Mine - DERP LET'S ADD ANOTHER TRAINING PLACE FOR A STILL-USELESS SKILL. Really, Jagex? We already have our Mining training area, now give us a reason to train it instead of another place to do so. They obviously didn't learn from the Artisan's Workshop... Death Hats - This is stupid. So, so, incredibly stupid. The last thing we need is more aesthetic stuff, and it's another unnecessary update to PKing. I bet this update will be the one where their entire system breaks. Upgrades Week - These all look nice, but I hope they don't constitute their own week's worth of update. Graphical Improvements - Always nice, but these happen all the time... why is it getting a BTS mention? Fremennik Sagas - Bunch o' miniquests with probably crappy rewards. Might be amusing for like an hour, tops.

I'm familiar with more than just Parallel Dementia... My main problem is that I have way to many possible ideas flying around in my head, and I can't seem to pick and use just one. But I think I've got the location problem sorted out, sort of. Now to come up with a driving plot force that'll last long enough...

minecraft is lame

So I came up with a character generator that uses what is essentially a d26, a d5, a couple Notepad documents, and some imagination. And I have generated enough characters to fill a story. Now I think I might write said story as a practice webcomic. Problem is... I have no actual story, no place for it to happen, and no conflict for the characters to draw upon. So... any recommendations?
