I enjoy looking through old newspapers of my fathers, and while I was doing it today I came across an interesting article on the assault of a homosexual male in my neighbouring county. A man was walking home on his own one day, a winter day, when he was confronted with 3 men blocking his path. He was then shoved to the ground and stabbed as one witness hid in nearby trees in horror. The men proceeded to kick him, wounding him, breaking bones, whilst shouting homophobic slurs at him. The last words this man heard were "Die, die you fat homo f**got c**t, die." before they ran off. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Totally just, isn't it, homophobs? This happened 5 years ago. EDIT: a few stars so I can show you what they said to this guy. Random bleeps don't have the same effect on you when reading.

That's based on RuneScape though. I wouldn't have suggested this if that was in general discussion, which is what I'm looking for.

How about a debate forum, where people are free to do researched, proper, smart debates, rather than do it in off-topic. This way you could implement rules exclusivley for the debate forum, for example, posting only stuff like "I agree/disagree with this" could get you a warning and whatnot. Yay/Nay? :pray:

OK, I'm going to try and debunk all of the anti-homosexuality arguments here. Not natural: One of the most common and ludicrous arguments is that homosexuality is unnatural. Wrong. If something can be found all over nature, from insects to mammals, it's natural. Also, homosexuality has been documented all over history. But something else that is "Natural" is murder. It is found all over nature, so therefore it's right? Also, it's not natural for humans to fly or sail, however no-one objects to boats or air planes, right? The point I am making here is that: Natural doesn't=Right Un-Natural doesn't=Wrong. A choice: Another one of the arguments these homophobic bigots throw at us is that homosexuality is a choice. No, it's not a choice. Why? Because that's like me waking up one day and saying "You know what? I think I'll screw dudes from now on. Because I want to be discriminated against. Because I want to be deprived of my civil rights. Because I want to be hated by homophobs." Also, there is no "gay gene" found as of yet, but there also is no heterosexual gene found, or bisexual gene for that matter. Extra rights exclusively for them: Is isn't true, and you know it. Let's talk about marriage. If gays "got extra rights" to marry one another, you would be able to marry the same sex too. You have the same rights as them, it would just be your choice if you wanted to marry a man or a woman. God: If you want to have a bible debate with me I just don't want it. As a Catholic turned atheist I know enough about the Bible to hold my own ground. If the Bible condemns homosexuality, and, assuming now that everything the Bible says is right, and true, therefore we must follow Leviticus 20:13: Yes, a brutal death for another human being, just for the fact that their lover is the same sex as them. Do you find this just? However, lets speak about what the bible allows, namely incest. Being Gay is wrong. Getting your father drunk to have sex with him is AOK! :wall: Gay people can't have babies: And how is this a problem? Last time I checked, there were nearly 7 billion people on this planet, and going on 11 Billion by 2050. And if you won't let gay people marry, how about infertile couples? Or couples who don't want babies? Contradicting the definition on marriage: So what? Just change the definition. It has been done before and we can do it again. What's next?: Some bible thumpers may argue that if we allow homosexuality, there's going to be an endless list of what will happen next. Namely bestiality, paedophilia ect. Gay marriage is a consensual choice. It doesn't hurt anyone and it's a choice between two adults as to what they're doing. Bestiality and paedophilia are not consensual acts, where both parties can't agree by their own free will, so therefore they're a long way of the list of stuff to be legalised. So, allow me to just paste this from my earlier argument: A lot of our great minds were homosexual. Leonardo, Tchaikovsky, Wilde, Barons Corvo and von Gloeden, Robin Maugham, Worsley, "an Englishman", Jean Genet, Cavafy, Montherlant, Roger Peyrefitte, Mary Renault, Michael Campbell, Michael Davies, Angus Stewart, Gore Vidal, John Rechy, William Burroughs, to name but a few. All ultimatly doomed. But they were excellent people. And allow me to go back to sleep.

If you look closely at that "IP ban" screenie, it says "This computer's address..." Jagex ban MAC codes, but I have never heard of an actual IP ban.

Brilliant point. Can't believe I over looked it myself. To any of you who read up on Harvey Milk: he had the brilliant idea of asking all of his followers to tell their friends, family, anyone who didn't know them for who they were to tell them. I have several homosexual friends, and before they told me, I didn't have a clue. One of them even had a girlfriend so he could hide his true self from his peers.

I will admit to you that I too questioned the validity of this argument whilst writing it, however I think you'll find my other points sufficent enough to argue with. I think what I was trying to was show that not all of the gay community are anonoymous, gross, "unnatural" people. I guess what I wanted to do was give the gays in my argument a face, rather than leave whoever you think of when you think of gays. A fair argument on your behalf. I think that part of my arguement had a lot less structure than the rest. I left too much room. However, I'd prefer you to answer my entire argument in a rebuttle rather than nitpicking at things that you think you'll win. I await for your response.

I decided to class myself as an atheist the day that the Pope said that "Stopping homosexuality is as important as stopping global warming". First off: Homosexuality is natural.
