  1. Eternal Life (or Suffering too, I guess). The thought of non-existence is kind of disheartening, but, I stop worrying about it when I realize there would be nothing to worry about anyways.
  2. I believe in God. Don't really care if you do or don't. In the end we will find out, so, believe whatever you feel you should believe. Supposedly God is empathetic, so, he would understand. If we end up rotting in the ground, then, well, it doesn't really matter anyways. It's essentially a win-win situation. Well... rotting in the ground doesn't seem very fun, but, the idea of no punishment for simply believing whatever you feel is the right choice during your lifetime seems nice.
  3. If things keep going downhill, it won't be long before we see THESE running around. Badass.
  4. They will really tear the hell out of you if you get on their bad side. :? EDIT- Imagine a rabid cat. Now imagine that rabid cat is on crack. Ok, good. Now add some big [wagon] claws, teeth, and a really short temper.
  5. Who doesn't like a good dose of Metal? I'm a big 80's Rock fan, but, sometimes you just wanna blare guitar solos and excessively loud drums with some guy screaming about how messed up everything is. Rock on.
  6. I liked those cartoons because: 1- They were actually animated. 2- The people who made them didn't apply all of this "cool kid" pop-culture garbage that is just everywhere nowadays. The reason kids today don't whine about it, is because that's all they know. The majority of the old fanbase has moved on and the current one hasn't been around long enough to have known the cartoons from years ago. Basically... they don't complain, because they don't know any better. And don't get me wrong. Some of the toons out there ARE good. It's just the majority of them are wastes of art utensils. I'd watch Boomerang if I could, but, unfortunately I don't have that channel through my provider. And, maybe it's just time passing, who knows. It most certainly is not for the better, though.
  7. Well, lots of things are illegal and are still done anyway. The fact that we know something will be done about it when a cyber sweatshop is found is more than enough for me.
  8. Who made them is irrelevant. The fact that Cartoon Network chooses to actually AIR them is what makes me mad.
  9. It used to be an "M" for Majharrat. And, yes, you could wear it. It gave no bonuses whatsoever, but, it looked like a cool golden unholy symbol perfect for a costume. Anywhoo I would rather have a quest that merely "unlocks" the items and allows you to have either/or and be able to switch etc. So, yes, it should be made available to all the players. The reward should have been the family armor and the mark of Hazeel.
  10. It's not just RuneScape. It's everywhere. Go to any other MMO out there and prepare to turn your chat function to off-mode. In other games: 1. People leech off of you. - Kill steal for fun or because they are VERY lazy. Don't play a grinding MMO in the first place if you don't want to actually play it. 2. G.I.R.L.S. are everywhere - I don't care if you have a girl char. But, please stop acting like you are one. 3. Certain clans seem to think they own the game. 4. Being deemed "illegit" (basically meaning you have been banned once for ANYTHING) makes you an automatic social outcast. 5. People become stat/damage freaks. Sure, all of this occurs in RuneScape to some extent, but, to me it happens a lot more in the various other games out there. Game communities nowadays are getting to the point where I prefer to just solo play. Strange since I joined MMO's to play the games I love with other people that love them too.
  11. Your aunt is obviously a Roach Warlord. Either submit to the will that is Roach or grab that heavy mace and get to it. Or... exterminator. But that's not as much fun. :| Edit- Get rid of the couch if you still have it. Which I don't believe you do.
  12. I just remembered. The show "Stoked" is coming to "CN." Basically it's 16teen... except everyone is a surfer instead of a mall-rat. Oh and it's set at a beach instead... ugh.
  13. Didn't someone make a sketch or something of a Dragon C'bow? I swear it looks exactly like an image I've seen before.
  14. Yes, it does suck in the sense that it will be a loss of jobs for tons of people. However, it is against the law on an international level. And the fact that many of these companies abuse the trust of trading and commit various forms of fraud doesn't really have me crying into a bucket at the moment.
  15. I doubt that, considering I already stated I'd much rather watch Pokemon (which is actually a pretty good show now) or Transformers, etc. than any of the other crap that appears later in the day. Total Drama/16teen both have hardly any action, plot twists, actual jokes rather than puns, or anything different from episode to episode. Total Drama - Challenges, Challenges, everyone ends up pissed. 16teen- Bunch of kids hang out at the mall, hit on each other, get fired from their mall jobs daily. Destroy, Build, Destory = Junkyard Wars on Ritalin. They barely show the building process (the second coolest part) at all. All it is is c4, tnt, etc the whole show. And the kids are such [wagon] when they win/lose. Plus, it's not a cartoon! Brainrush - Like Cash Cab, except the questions are unbelievably simple and over-rewarded this-or-that questions. And all the viewer sees is spinning, spinning, spinning. Plus, it's not a cartoon! Survive This - A bunch of kids crying because they can't access MySpace in the wilderness. Not a cartoon. Othersiders - FEAR for kids, except, I believe they already had a FEAR: kids edition. Either way it's just shows that showed up on abc/nbc except on a cartoon channel. Oh, yeah, not a cartoon. Johnny Test - Dexter's Lab rip-off except they only use parodies of OTHER SHOWS to attempt comedy. Bakugan - Like checkers meets card game? Except this is a kiddie show so it's fine. EDIT - Actually, I may revise my statement of it being totally a kiddie show. A few of the monsters (and even one of the characters, in my opinion) show up as the typical scantily-clad anime girl. :? Chaotic - Another, even more complicated, card based game show. I don't even understand how kids could follow it... I may be getting older, but, the quality of programming hasn't stayed the same as it once was. And, it most certainly has not risen either.
  16. Yeah, Boondocks is pretty good. Metalocalypse I'm kind of on the fence, but, still entertained. The PJ's is god awful, you're right. Well, I will give them the fact that they brought back Ed, Edd n Eddy for one and half hours on Fridays. But, I'd have to say that is outweighed by the cgi garfield movies that they have been playing an annoyingly large amount of recently. And, **** "HAR HAR THARsdays..." I want Cartoon Cartoon Fridays! :wall:
  17. Is a contradiction. I'm really tired of them pulling reality t.v. shows, game shows, and live action "comedies" in nowadays. This includes both the daytime programming and [adult swim]. Actually, adult swim is what I blame for this occurring during the day as well. They realized they could could funnel this garbage through the t.v. when adults were watching, so, why not kids too?! I actually decided to post this whole thread after seeing that they were adding yet ANOTHER non-cartoon show (Slamball... honestly wtf?) Some of the actual cartoons aren't much better. Total Drama Island/Action and 16teen are just horrible. Yes, that's what we want to watch; a bland rip-off of reality t.v. It's like going to a public place and watching people be people... for fun. Oh, by the way! Prepare for the show, Stoked. It's basically 16teen... except with a bunch of teenage surfers at the beach! Hoo-freaking-ray (major MAJOR sarcasm.) I honestly have more fun watching those toons made for the younger age group that air in the early morning like transformers and etc as opposed to the shows that air from noon-about 3ish? I guess. The only shows I really like anymore are: Day- Batman: The Brave and the Bold. Transformers Chowder (sometimes. some are pretty lame) The Misadventures of Flapjack Star Wars: The Clone Wars Pokemon: DP Galactic Battle ...and... well that's pretty much it. Night- King of the Hill Family Guy The Venture Brothers Superjail Aqua Teen Hunger Force (The pure insanity is entertaining) Squidbillies (sometimes) and the Saturday night line-up. Everything else is trash. I just wonder how much longer before they change the networks name altogether. So, if you have any opinions etc., please post. Most people would call me immature or weird, but, I grew up with this channel and it pisses me off pretty badly to see it be destroyed this way.
  18. oh my god. yes!     \ \ \ \ \
  19. I want to see weapons that can be used in ways other than damage damage damage... Why not weapons like ... slingshots. Fire a couple rounds of metallic bullets at someone to stun them momentarily. Good for team pvping, castlewars, etc. Possibilities. Or, take the boomerang idea and the ability to multi-attack, but, weaken it by a lot... like to the point people won't even consider using it for its damage. Then, you could give it an effect of making all monsters and players hit with it automatically run towards you to attack even if they are already pre-occupied. Then there always is the idea of pistols/guns/etc. My idea would be specialized bullets. For example, sphere shaped bullets would be very effective on plate armor, but, suffer a harsh damage penalty on robes or leather armor. You get the idea. Ooh, ohh! Dragon warhammer... lmao. But, RuneScape is getting to the point where it's going to have to start adding in weapons usually seen in other mmo's out there. It'll be interesting to see what happens nonetheless.
  20. I checked my system processes, and yes, there were 4 running.
  21. Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it. :D However, I have already tried uninstalling and re-downloading and re-installing. Also, I'm using Firefox. I currently have 3 Java applet icons (Edit- I have 4, one was hidden.) on the bottom right corner of my computer screen. Once Java locks up when I run RuneScape, the game will still run fine. When I quit, the icon will remain up. When I go back to play RuneScape, ANOTHER Java applet will pop-up. So, I guess I keep adding Java applets everytime I close and re-open RuneScape. >_>
  22. I am having issues with Java. Whenever I play RuneScape, Java will keep running even after I've closed the game. It will continue to run until I try to shutdown or restart the computer. Whenever I do try to shutdown/restart, the computer will bring up a box saying Java is still running etc. etc. and I'll have to click the end program now button. This happens EVERY time I play RuneScape. Haven't had to use anything else involving Java, so I don't know what would happen there. Is anyone else having this problem with RuneScape and Java? Along with the mentioned Java 6-14, I have on my computer Java 6 Update 13 (64-bit). My OS is Windows XP Pro x64 Edition. I am just wondering if I need this particular Java version to run certain programs on my 64-bit OS or if I can delete it. Thanks.
