Also, you should at least START Mourning's End Pt. 1, because at the very start, they give you the teleport crystal to lleyta, useful for mages, penguin finding, farming, flax picking, buying dies, killing elves, and getting to isafdar.

I think that a hammer will last 1200 iron bars, if I'm correct, so I bought 1.2k iron bars, and am smithing them into knives now. Better losing 50k on these than 500k on steel plates.

I have played a few games since the first post, and the last 4 games I have averaged a about 55k points each game. I think I am going to go with iron bars for now. Thank you for the information, everyone else too :)

Maybe I will do that after I get 60 smithing; I want 60 so I can play SC more efficiently. That sounds like a good idea because it would get me 60 mining too :thumbup:

I will probably do something with iron bars. Ive superheated 1k mithril bars before, and even though I profited, I hated it so I wont be doing that.

So I just started playing SC today, and I'm getting about 35k points, is that good/average? Is there a certain world I should be going to? I've been using 158. When you join, should I go to the big pen on the east, and join a cc, or go into the smaller ones on the west? I am using the reward points on Morphic tools, I will get hammers for now for smithing. Steel Plates are the highest platebody I could make, should I make those, or is there another thing I could make? It seems really expensive to make steel plates, will I still get the same amount of expirience if I make iron knives or something that profits? Thanks :

I used it for 2 years and loved it, the only reason I stopped using it is because I got a mac, and theres not one for macs.

It is best if you do not check for snakes at all, just loot the urns.

This should go in the Help and Advice forum ;) But a whip is definately the best weapon you can use since you will have 2.2m and 70 attack, and just get yourself some rune and a berserker/neitiznot helmet, and you can kill something like ankous or slayer if you want drops, or experiments if you just want fast xp.
