  1. We must throw the evil object off of the edge of the earth!!!! Please tell me somebody got that reference...
  2. The updates have been a little...lacking. Hopefully we have some big update that is coming soon. I think that The Blood Pact catacombs could have had some potential for high level players. They could have added some hidden chamber, with higher level versions of the new monsters and possibly a hard boss monster that upgrades the mask.
  3. Research continues on: Perfected explosive mix Crossbows / Ballistas Construction on the grand cathedral continues. The scribe tells one of the Daeka, "Unfortunately we cannot spare our closely guarded secret."
  4. Any battle update today...?
  5. Reminds me of Lake Hylia from OoT. I know it isn't though.
  6. Ok, another resource suggestion. I think that having the core resources is good, but there should be various rare resources as well. They would only be on a single (perhaps 2) planets, and in such small amounts that it would be very hard for more than one nation to use them. I think this would make some interesting situations.
  7. If we have some economic system in the game, it would be better to have some monetary unit insead of GPD. I think it should be heavily based on resources, since that provides conflict between players. I.e. planet x has element z, but it is the only planet with such an element, with a limited supply.

Just finished up reading King Lear. Talk about a tragedy, that has to be one of Shakespeare's most depressing plays :(
  9. Pmed you with the battle details retech. Yearly summary: Research: Crossbows/ballistas Perfected explosive mix Smiths test out the swords and sheilds in combat practices. Work continues on cathedral Cartographer continues with map
  10. The scribe tells the Daeka that the only thing that might be of interest is the napalm-like mix. However, it is a closely guarded secret. Otherwise they have phalanx pikes and some experemental iron broadswords / shields. Research continues on crossbows & ballistas. The cartographer continues mapping out the area. The smiths test out the swords and sheilds in combat exersises. (update on my battle w/ Mather?)
  11. Update soon?
  12. Never heard of this group before. Talk about giving christians a bad name.
  13. The scribe writes down everything about the Daeka, along with drawings of their physical appearences. After doing so, he sends the scrolls to the royal archives. Another 50 pikemen and 100 grenadiers are being trained. The smiths of Ikana try making broadswords and lage square shields out of the iron found on the island. The smiths continue working on perfecting smithing with iron. A scribe keeps track of the progress with the iron, writing down notes and its properties. - Work on large stone walls around the entire city of Ikana continues - The cartographer continues to map out the desert and the nearby areas - Construction continues on the grand cathedral

(last roll) Varius: You juggle your knife some more, and find out a good technique for throwing knives. +0.3 melee Karl: You are so far underground that the PDA has no signal. However, you take some documents on a table, along with making some pictures of the pod. Kimako: You hear some intercoms beeping, along with muffled voices. It sounds like it is coming from the top of the elevator. There is a large pipe in the next room, leading to the unknown. You dance towards it. +0.2 dexterity Hakon: You come up to a cement plant, filled with mercenaries.
  15. The guards at Ikana tell the creatures to not make any hostile movements before a scribe goes down to write up an examination on them. The smiths decide to wait on making the siphons. The guards at the mining operation throw some firebombs at the catapults, and go in phalanx formation, preparing to attack the creatures. (mather you have explosives as well?)

Kimako: You try cutting the creature's body up, but the skin is so thick that it dulls your knife. The eye is too big to fit inside the artifact container, so you decide to "dance" to the next room. +0.1 dexterity Earth: You manage to drag yourself to the group. Hakon: The professor tells you that he has no other assignments at the moment. Karl: You try cutting off the head, but make no progress. Suddenly, your PDA picks up a transmission. You hear a muffled voice saying, "Team 1, take position on the roof; team 2, search inside the factory!" Varius: You follow Kimako, juggling your knives.
  17. The miners continue to extract more of the iron. The guards stand at bay. Back at Ikana, several smiths begin constructing special siphons used to spew out the napalm-like mixture.

Varius: You don't know where to even begin. Earth: You start crawling towards the group. Karl: The creature has such a massive head it isn't possible. Hakon: The cook offers your 50c for the clutter. Kimako: You dance over the creature without any problems. You stab at it with your hunting knife, but nothing happens. It has no loot, but you decide to harvest the one eye that is still intact. +0.2 dexterity
  19. Ew, fishy creatures :P The expeditionary force returns to the mineral deposit. The leader contacts the telepathic, telling him to send another 55 pikemen with firebombs, a group of 20 armed miners to begin extracting the mineral, and some ships to transport the mineral. The smith continues fiddling around with the strange iron, with the scholars insight.

Earth: You fire at the creature with your handgun, doing some major damage. -1 9mm round +0.3 handgun prof. Karl: A bolt of electricity suddenly bursts from your hand, shocking the creature. It falls over, twitching. +0.4 electrical discharge Varius: You toss 3 throwing knives at the creature, hitting it twice. The last knife falls into the dark abyss below. Hakon: The P90 uses 9mm rounds. The trader tells you he doesn't want old silverware. Kimako: You continue dancing, shooting at the incapacitated creature a few times. You hit it twice. It lets out a roar before slumping over. -5 9mm rounds Enigma: You fire at the downed mutant, hitting it twice. -5 9mm rounds
  21. The scholars tell the smith to try making some weapons out of the iron, and to test it. The expeditionary force scours the ruins for any sort of interesting materials/objects. They are told to avoid the disgusting blood.

Earth: Some huge, hideous creature comes charging through the door. You stick your machete into it's eye, but it lets out a large roar, throwing you across the room. As you hit the wall, you feel a sickening crack. You think that your legs are broken. +0.5 melee prof. Kimako: You see a hideous humanoid creature throw Earth across the room. You fire your MP5 at it, doing some damage. However, it seems unphased. +0.2 SMG prof. -1 9mm round Karl: Some huge creature comes stomping out the door, and you watch as Earth goes flying. You fire your MP5, but miss. -1 9mm round Enigma: A large creature comes charging out the door. You fire your 9mm handgun, hitting it in what appears to be the head. The creature stumbles for a second, but keeps charging directly towards Kimako! -1 9mm round +0.3 handgun prof. Hakon: You found some silverware, mugs, and plates. Varius: You continue fooling around. +0.1 melee
  23. Five of the pikemen are instructed to take samples back to the kingdom, for the smiths/scholars to examine. The ruler of Ikana appoints one of the best telepathics to keep contact with the expeditionary force. A cartographer maps out the location of the mineral deposit, in case they need to return another time. The men then set off, looking for more places of interest.

Enigma: You look at some sketches on the paper recovered from the ecologist. They resemble the control panel, so you follow the instructions. Somehow, you manage to shut off the device, and your mind clears. An alarm goes off and you see some door opening nearby. Kimako: The PSY powers suddenly disperse. You get up, heal yourself, and begin dancing again. Earth: Enigma deactivates the control panel before you have the chance to do so. However, you notice a door opening. Hakon: The trader decides to accept the offer due to feeling generous.
