Varius: You throw 4 knives at the monolith forces, and hit one of them in the neck. +0.2 melee prof. Enigma: You open fire, and get one headshot, as well as killing the injured monolithain. The other two return fire, but only one bullet hits you in the leg, causing minor damage. Kemios: The ecologists ask for your assistace in the assembly. Rocco: The mercs tell you that they need help escorting some ecologists to an anomaly. Earth: You figure they aren't going to hand it over, so you shoot one, hitting him in the chest. You charge with the machete, and slice the other one in the arm. One falls over from the sudden attack, but the other pistol-whips you, causing moderate damage. +0.1 melee prof. +0.2 handgun prof. -1 9mm round

Rocco: You make it to the cement plant. There are plenty of mercs and ecologists walking around. Inside, there is a trader sitting down, fiddling with a computer. Earth: You see the family rifle, but there are two renegades fighting over it. They both look like rookies, and have rubbish equipment. Kimako: (The anomalies are dangerous. You want to take readings of those for the ecologists sometimes. The artifacts are what you want, which the anomalies produce. They give you different special properties) You start scanning with your detector, and a white light starts flashing, the frequency depending on where you walk. Kemios: You depart with two ecologists to set up the antenna. You arrive at the hangar. Enigma: The commander says, "Shoot on sight."
  3. paul191600 replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
Rocco: You hear one of the mercs say, "We have a contract with the ecologists, inside the bunker. If you want to work with us, head over to the cement plant of the pub." Earth: You buy the machete, and set off for the location that the family rifle was last seen. Enigma: You spot some monolithians sitting by the entrace. There are 4 of them.
  4. paul191600 replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
Rocco: You look around, realizing that you are in the outer area of the zone. After walking for a bit, you come up to a mobile bunker. There are mercenaries posted on the top. Karl: You are still pinned to the ground along with being in a confused state. You try concentrating, but only a little static buzzes. Earth: The trader offers a machete(+1 damage) for 300c. Enigma: Varius agrees to go with you. The commander posts the entrance to the large sewer system on your map.
  5. Igos follows the golem at a reasonable distance.
  6. paul191600 replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
Hakon: To your surprise, they simply come up and sniff dog. Varius: "Our main base would have equipment such as that. However, they are deeper in the zone, and some complications have separated us from them." Earth: The leader isn't in right now, and you can't find anyone who would have a job. Suddenly, a loner comes up to you, and asks you for help finding his family rifle. Stephen: You go with the CS members to attack the renegade's underground complex.
  7. paul191600 replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
Enigma: The commander tells you, "There is a large underground sewer system that has been drained for quite some time now. However, it has become a breeding ground for various mutants. We need you to destroy the complex." Hakon: You enter the forest, and spot 4 mutant dogs charging towards you. Varius: The commander tells you that this outpost doesn't have that kind of equipment. Karl: Before you have the chance, a large force of gravity pushes against you and pins you to the ground. Earth: You patch yourself up, and open the crate. Inside is a Kevlar vest (+2 ballistics, +2 melee defense). +0.2 medic Stephen: There are 10 CS members, all equipped with advanced armor and weaponry. They tell you that they are about to attack a renegade hideout.
  8. paul191600 replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
Hakon: You are standing out on some grassland. There is a dense forest nearby. Karl: The hooded figure glares over at you. You feel a little odd.
  9. Igos wakes up, and asks for a recap on what is going on. He checks to see if the stone finally arrived at Ikana.

    Alrighty then...
  11. That absurd story made me chuckle.

(Last round) Kimako: You reach the anomaly without any problems. UPDATE: Stephen helped CS corp. take control of the pumping station, a resource point. Their numbers have boosted slightly as well. It is rumored that they have two prototype weapons complete. The renegades lost a few squads. The TZDF has recruited some loners. Territories have now been given sizes. Small means that it can hold a maximum of 7 men, medium has a max cap. of 15, large has a cap. of 20, and huge, 30. Keep this in mind when attacking.
  13. paul191600 replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
Kimako: The professor tells you that they don't have any artifacts that they need in particular. They mark 3 different anomalies on your map, which include an eletrical one, a fire one and a chemical one. When you ask the professor about forming an alliance with Duty, he says, "Unfortunately, we cannot form alliances with any of the factions. The faction we have the closest ties with is the mercs, since they were granted a contract to protect us. However, we will consider giving Duty such a contract as well." He hands you a basic detector.
  14. paul191600 replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
Kimako: The professor hands you an SP99 Mk.I suit (+2 fire, eletrical and chemical protection, closed cycle breathing system, moderate rad. protection). It looks perfect for artifact hunting. He also gives you 1500c to split with your friends. Stephen: You and the group fire on the zombies. You hit one in the neck, killing it, and the team finishes off the rest. You proceed to the pumping station, and arrive fine. There is a large group of CS members there, preparing some operation. +0.3 AR expertise -1 5.56x45mm round
  15. paul191600 replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
Stephen: You take 100c from one of the bodies before they all get up, and start swarming you and your squad. You and the group open fire, and kill three of the zombies. They start attacking, but fortunately your squadmate's suits protect them. +0.1 AR prof -1 5.56x45mm round Kimako: You have 76 9mm rounds, and spend 100c for another 10 rounds for the AK47. Somehow, you manage to tow the corpse all the way to the ecologist bunker. The professor seems baffled, and says, "You brought us a whole specimen?!" +0.4 strength
  16. paul191600 replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
Kimako: The Duty commander tells you he doesn't have much to spare, and gives you 10 7.62MM rounds, along with 600c (and the rest of the group). He tells you that there are no freedom patrols this far out in the zone anymore, and that most of them are further in. He also confirms that those men were the missing squad. After looking at the bloodsucker, he says, "It looks like a juvenile. The ecologists are always babbling about their tentacles, you might want to try striking a deal with them." Stephen: You come across 6 corpses in the marsh.
  17. paul191600 replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
Stephen: The executive tells you that they don't have any of the cheap, black market RPGs. When you ask him about joning, he says, "In due time." Since he didn't have what you requested, he hands you 500c instead. You ask for a job, and he points to two men wearing CS biosuits. "Escort them to the pumping station, through the marsh." Kimako: You have no bandages, but you aren't bleeding. You feel light-headed from the blood loss. You return to the camp, dragging the body. Once you arrive, a medic rushes to help. Varius: You loot the bodies, but find only 200c, as most equipment was damaged by the grenade. You manage to find a throwing knife.
  18. paul191600 replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
Varius: You spot the bloodsucker with your scope, and fire with your MP5, hitting it a couple times. You realize that you are low on ammo for it (10 left). -5 9mm rounds +0.1 SMG prof. Kimako: The bloodsucker runs up to you, and tries wrapping it's tentacles around your neck. It starts sucking blood out, but you yank out your pistol, and shoot it a couple times, until it pulls the tentacles back out, and falls over. For the first time, you actually see the creature, dead on the ground. You feel a little faint, but the holes in your neck have already clotted. -2 9mm rounds +0.5 SMG prof. Stephen: You hand the artifact to one of the CS ecologists, and they hurry off with it. The executive tells you that they need it to prepare another powerful weapon, which should be complete by tomorrow. He then asks you what kind of reward you want (reasonable)
  19. paul191600 replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
Varius: You spot the creature in your thermal scope, and unload the clip, causing major damage. It starts slowing down. +0.4 SMG prof -15 9mm rounds Kimako: You shoot once, and see some blood spurt in midair. You fire another 9 rounds, but miss. You hear no signs of the creature. -9 ak47 rounds Enigma: You fire towards the last location of the creature, but miss. -1 9mm round Stephen: You start taking measurements and finish rather quickly. You start searching for the artifact again, finiding the location of it. It appears, and looks like a blue orb with electrical currents going through it. +0.2 eletrical anomaly expertise Karl: You come up to a group of 3 hooded men. They don't look at you.
  20. paul191600 replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
Kimako: You patch up your wounds fine, and then fire towards the bloodsucker. You hit it a few times, and it lets out another loud growl. -4 9mm rounds +0.1 SMG prof. Enigma: You hurl the grenade in the direction of the noises. It explodes, and you think that you might have hit it. +0.2 explosives Karl: You go to the bunker, and the professor tells you about some strange group that was spotted to the east of the base. Stephen: You head off to the anomaly, and start searching for the artifact. You make a little progress finding it. Electricity is buzzing all around you. +0.3 electrical anomaly expertise
  21. paul191600 replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
Varius: (you didn't make it up the trre in time, forgot to post) You throw two of your knives, and hit the bloodsucker with one of them. It pulls out the knife while running towards Enigma. +0.4 melee prof Enigma: You fire, but completely miss the creature. You hear noises coming from behind you and the bloodsucker claws you in the arm before running off. You start bleeding. -1 9mm round Kimako: You unload the clip in the creature's direction, and hit the bloodsucker a couple of times. The bleeding gets worse from your wound. -15 9mm rounds +0.2 SMG prof. Karl: The CS corp. guards tell you they aren't allowed to do that sort of thing. You don't know where their hq is.
  22. paul191600 replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
Varius: Before you can shoot, the creature grabs you, and lifts you off the ground. You hear it's tentacles making slithering noises. Kimako: You see the creature pick up Varius, and you unload a few rounds into it. It drops him, and you can hear the footsteps growing louder as it approaches. +0.2 AR prof. -10 Enigma: You fire a couple shots in the creature's direction, and hit it once. It lets out a loud screech. -2 9mm rounds +0.4 handgun prof. Karl: The commander tells you about the missing patrol. Stephen: The CS executive hands you another 300c, and tells you about another artifact he needs. He marks the point on the map, and lets you borrow the biosuit again.
  23. paul191600 replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
Karl: (You looked at Stephen's job) One of the men in the biosuits comes up and asks you what business you have here. Varius: You spot the creature, and unload your clip into it. You hit several times, doing some damage. -15 9mm rounds +0.3 SMG prof. Kimako: You fire the first shot, and hear a growl. You proceed to unload 10 more rounds, hitting it a few times. +0.2 AR prof. Something swipes at you, and claws you in the chest. -11 7.62mm rounds Enigma: You stumble around in the smoke (1 then a 2)
  24. paul191600 replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
Stephen: You finish off the remaining renegade with your AK-47. The wounded one bleeds to death. You loot the bodies, and find mostly garbage. However, you pick out 10 rounds for your XM8, along with a medkit. You see 7 men with the CS biosuits coming to secure the location. +0.3 salvage Karl: You reach the pumping station, and see Stephen and 7 men with some strange biosuits on. Enigma: You toss a smoke grenade, but it explodes in your hand, causing the area around you to become dense with smoke. Varius: You figure it would be bad to use your knife unless you had thermal goggles. Instead, you unload your MP5 clip when you spot the heat disturbances again, and hit the bloodsucker another 5 times. (you can only use 1 gun per round) -15 9mm rounds +0.3 SMG prof. Kimako: (see the last page) You hear something behind you, but suddenly the noise stops. You fire a round in the direction, but hit nothing. Earth: You kill the final monolithain, and barely heal yourself. -1 9mm round +0.1 medic
  25. paul191600 replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
Varius: You take some shots at the bloodsucker, and manage to hit it a couple times, but it seems unphased. -15 9mm rounds +0.3 SMG prof. Enigma: You take a couple of shots in the direction of the sound, and see some blood spurt in midair. -2 9mm rounds +0.1 handgun prof. Kimako: You shoot into the bush, and hear a growl. You hear footsteps and heavy breathing, but it isn't coming from the bush anymore. -1 7.62MM rounds +0.2 AR prof. Stephen: You open fire on the renegades, and kill one of them instantly. You also critically wound another, but miss the last two. They return fire, but one of their guns jam, and the other two miss. The wounded one falls over, and is bleeding profusely. -4 5.56x45mm rounds +0.2 AR prof.
