  1. i be loving you more <3333

  2. i never knew him, but heard of him, and anyone with such a condition, or even a dwindling limit to their life who gives so much to a group of people without asking for anything in return has earnt more than mere words can describe. RIP alduron, and may your journey never end.
  3. actually, if america had never been colonised, england would probably still be an empire, as the american civil war was what sparked the withdrawl/revolts in the other corners of the empire. since the majority of those inventions were invented by people who are descendants of colonists, and who probably would've either still been born in another part of english empire, or since most of these inventions are logical follow ons to someone elses work, or even just one induvidual finishing off someone else's project, human technology would still have advanced at the same pace. claiming that these inventions only exist because they were made in the usa is simply ridiculous verging on stupidity. however i agree with what a few people have said, about how the world would be politically and border wise if america didn't exist. the simple fact that europe, the uk and the africas could've become a much closer group of countries, if not one induvidual nation. out of pure neccesity of being so close together. and ok, if we entertain the thought that these people only invented what they did because of the fact they were in america. then lets consider what your responsible for negatively as well. NUCLEAR WEAPONS. i guess its easy for you to say oh look at all the amazing things that have happened on our soil. lets look over the fact that the american initiative to create nuclear weapons is the start of the single greatest world relations catastrophe ever. however, all of this aside, anybody trying to second guess how history would've played out if a certian continent, country, leader, or government had never existed is ridiculous and fruitless. you'll never find out, theres no way to test each theory, and all its going to do is start arguments about how important countries are to the development of the human race.

  5. latest concerts where pendulum last year, at brixton, before i moved to canada, and i went to holland with a few friends in feb to see florence and the machine. i love gigs, i just wish i could get more time off work that coincides with good gigs. on a side note, to any aussie's out there, whatever happened to killing hiedi? i went to see them on their debut tour, loved em, grabbed all 3 of their discs last time i was in the upside down land, (ilu btw, so retiring there), but i can't find anything about them now, except a few vague mentions of ella having vocal chord problems. but i thought that was before their last album.
  6. OMG thanks for all the birthday niceties guys <3333 ilusm, i'm actually back on the air today, if you people really want, i'll splain it tomorrow.

  7. indeed, but as i said, it would an extremely sick joke of nature if were the only advanced biological lifeforms.
  8. the chance of there not being thousands, if not millions of other populated planets among the countless billions upon billions of planets out there amongst our 100 bilion plus galaxies is so stupidly small, it'd be a cruel joke of nature if we're the only advanced biological lifeform out there. the chance of this life having evolved into a form resembling our own is however roughly the same, there are so many minute differences in the evolutionary chain from the single celled organism that life must start out as, its just imposible that many of these worlds have actually evolved a humanoid lifeform that has then survived. and as for people saying well why would aliens come along and throw us into oblivion for our small, crowded planet, well because the opposite would require morals, and morals are a very human thoght pattern.
  9. yer, i keep noticing whatever i'm feeling always comes out in the renders :s and i gots them all on pc. had them for weeks :P
  10. ok, so i've been stuck inside since sunday, the blizzards are up again. its a bit of a mess. so I booted up my Desktop, loaded up terragen and got at it again, this time going for a partially occluded night time sky using the same scenery as the last one. [hide=oh hi click here][/hide]
  11. anyone got any idea why the clouds turned out like this? i'm using Terragen 2 btw.
  12. looks good texture wise, is it just me though, or does it look like the black line is too far back? the halves look out of proportion to me, and is there any reason that at the cutoff the black is stronger than the far side of the earth?
  13. hmmm, I'll have a little play with cloud depth when I get home, didn't think about that. on other news, dropped my overnight render onto my phone and just uploaded it. for some reason, the bottom of the clouds that have been lit up are really grainy, all of the quality settings are at max, gi is at 4, which is the highest I've ever used before, and they've never come out like this. oh well. c/c and tips anyone?
  14. yer, the only problem is due to the fact my desktop is out of action at the moment, i'm running entirely off my laptop, so I had to flick the quality down a bit, or else it would've take days :s when I get my desktop back up, I'll do a higher res/quality render of it. The problems with the sun for me is that I'm still trying to figure out how the controls on the sun work. So other than colour, heading and direction, I'm not doing too much, and I can't find any really nice tutorials for it.
  15. errrm, global warming would mean england gets colder :P one of the things they rely on often is the flipping of the gulf stream, which would bring england to finland/norway type climate
  16. so heres a little render I did, mostly just me messing around with the clouds in terragen 2. This just happened to be what i did last, getting a fairly level low lying cloud bank with mountain peaks through the top. I'm next trying to get the effect you see on summers days when there pollen in the air or particles of some kinda and you can see the straight beams of light through the clouds, can't get the light to stay in rigid lines, though, keeps dispersing after it comes through. any tips anyone?
  17. off topic: would you happen to have any advice/tutorials for terragen 2? i've got the free version, just to have a practice with for now, but I will buy the full version eventually. OT: is the big black border at the top going to be that big? it looks a little empty.
  18. thats what i thought, but its what he wanted, my guess is i'll have him running back soonish saying he wants it a different size.
  19. so, after 4 hours and change, I've got myself my above the clouds render, I'm oddly pleased with the results, although I'll definately tweak the sun a bit
  20. oh wow, thats brilliant ^.^ thanks.
  21. slighty Off topic, but being a user of terragen 2, it makes me slightly envious looking at your 3d work, i'm guessing your using the full version? back OT, I like the design, its simple, doesn't draw attention away from the art, and still communicates everything it needs to, I know next to nothing about website design, but as a consumer looking at the page, I like what I see.
  22. well, so I finally figured out how this works, or rather, had an afternoon with little enough to do that I could spend the time figuring it out. Basically, i've recently had one of my weeks were i'm a tag disgruntled with RS for various reasons, mostly the fact that its really depressing getting all these levels AGAIN. and then hearing sob stories of people who lost 20m worth of items to hackers. AT LEAST THEY HAVE THEIR ACCOUNTS. /rage As a consequence i've now reloaded up all my old art software, namely, terragen, L3DT, and Paint.net (I know its not as powerful as photoshop or GIMP, but it does everything I want it to). This led to a conversation with an old friend, who wanted a quick siggie for his gaming community, centered around flying games/sci-fi, so I hopped down to good old planet render, and grabbed a fairly cool looking jet thingamy (looks fast to me, thats about as much as I can say). played around with a few things, found a couple of brilliant plugins, messed around with them and got to a stage where I kind of liked what I had. so I showed him, and he went ballistic. It REALLY wasn't that great. Have a look for yourselves. http://i762.photobucket.com/albums/xx267/ehlanatorne/sig1.png so now I'm waiting for the render on a red sunset on a cloudy day mountain, using the heightmap from the local geography nerds website I picked up a while back. I'll post a little linky to that aswell later, but for now, I'm going to go and make dinner, chicken chow mein, nice and simple, tasty, and quick. for those who earned it, incendia , unda , terra quod aer vadum non subsisto vos
  23. have my babies? with pret aswell? <333

  24. anyone? c/c? advice on what else to try? 12 views and no comments :o i know its kinda generic, boring and bog standard, but some sort of, colours don't match, find a better render, or something would've been more helpful :s
  25. oh wow at the shots in the Fuji "S5200" folder, absolutely love them, and the photo in the very first folder before that, that silhouette is just brilliant, its people like you that inspired me into art in the first place, I knew a guy in school, all those years ago, who had just the same knack for finding the perfect shots.
