Belgian man was in a coma for 23 years... Or was he?
Oh, wow. That must have been utterly terrifying at first. o-o And meh, you never know what you'd do unless you're in that position...

Suicide
Edit: Okay, scratch that. Now I've actually read the replies to this thread I'm going to change what I said. I can't stand people who say suicide is cowardly. Selfish in some circumstances, maybe, but it isn't cowardly. If you have ever had any form of depression, be it bipolar or major, I doubt you'd be sitting there saying suicide is the coward's way out. I'm willing to bet anything you haven't experienced it. Oh, and to those people saying "let 'em" - would you be saying that if it was a family member? I doubt it. And words do hurt. I was constantly bullied by people I didn't know, both at school and walking around, almost every day for years. As a result, I'm incredibly shy, almost constantly afraid of people judging me and so I rarely ever talk for fear of it starting again, and I always assume if someone is laughing it is at me, etc. Quite frankly, I'd rather have gone to school and have someone punch me in the face. I know other people who are similar because of the same reason. Bruises fade, but those words stay with you. Speaking from experience, I can completely understand why someone would want to commit suicide. Regarding depression (though I'm aware the thread isn't about depression and I probably shouldn't keep coming back to it. It's just that most suicide cases are because of it), eventually everything just becomes too much and you feel it's not going to get better. Chances are, it will eventually, but I can still understand it. Also, as I said, I do believe suicide is selfish in a way. You're leaving family and friends behind, possibly leading them to feel guilty for the rest of their lives. I've read stories about people killing themselves over a brother or sister who have done the same thing. At the same time, is it right to want someone to stay alive if they are miserable every day?

If you could fast forward 50 hours...
Either 50 hours of Tormented Demons, or Hunter. I'd be close to 99 if I picked Hunter.

What Should I Get ???
I agree with this. Always make sure you have plenty of cash leftover, both for emergencies and general activities. If you're going to buy one, DFS, but still make sure you have at least 5m leftover.

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
Let's see... Worst thing I've ever done is not owning up to something that happened a long time ago. I was probably 12 at the time, maybe a little younger. A girl in my class used to pick on me all the time, getting people to chase me and turning everyone against me (oddly, we're friends now. Not close, but friends nonetheless). At around that age, I used to take drama classes everyday on a Tuesday. I told a friend from there what was happening, she took my phone and sent texts to her swearing and such. Towards the end, I joined in because I was utterly sick of it. The end of the night, as we went home, my grandmother called and told me to get home. The girl had called her parents, and sadly, I let all the blame go on my friend. Not long after, she moved away. We're still in contact and she has probably forgotten about it, but I haven't, and I still regret it to this day. :( I would never do to that again. Anything else is probably having depression twice and no-one knowing. I attempted suicide and no-one knows that. Not in real life, anyway. Oh, and I'm in a long-distance relationship that the majority of my family don't know about, mainly because they're racist, heh.

Today...
Today wasn't interesting in the slightest. Got up at around 1:00, finally managed to drag myself out of bed at 1:30, went straight to my PC and went on RuneScape/talked to friends. Turned it off at one point to watch The Grinch (it was awesome xD) and then let my chinchilla out for an hour, went in the bath and then went back on the PC. Boring day. Yesterday, I was out all day with a friend. We went to the movies, but we both suck and we got lost getting home and spent probably two hours wandering around trying to figure out where we were. -useless- By the time I got back I was so tired I felt like collapsing.

How do YOU dress?
Generally, dark jeans and a printed t-shirt. On ocassions, a sweater when it's cold, but even that's rare. Anything comfortable, really. I don't give a damn about fashion.

what do you think will happen in 2012?
The world has supposedly "ended" a dozen times in my lifetime. I don't believe it will happen, but as usual, a lot of people still do. If I recall correctly, a few people have commited suicide over it. (Not 2012, but 6/6/06). I find it ridiculous that people believe it, personally... Fact is, if the world ends, it ends. We can't do anything about it and we should continue living how we're supposed to; making every second count. You never know when you're going to die anyway and there's always that danger when you walk out your front door. More on topic, on that day, I'll most likely either be on my computer as usual, watching TV or hanging with family. :P

Animal Rights: Where Do You Stand?
Regarding this particular video, I do think it's wrong. If it can indeed feel pain and is suffering needlessly, then obviously this shouldn't be happening. I'm not going to say "Oh, we're the superior life-forms and so it doesn't matter if it suffers" - it does. I find it utterly disgusting that people can defend things like this; not just the fish being eaten alive, but any mistreatment of animals in general. They are living things and feel things, just like us, though they may not be the same things. They have rights. I am not against eating animals myself. Animals in the wild eat each other to survive and so do we. I was a vegetarian at one point, but it wasn't for a long period of time. I thought long and hard about it, but in the end, it's not going to stop animals being killed and we need to eat certain things to stay healthy. However, I do think animals need to be killed in the most humane way possible. Again, they shouldn't suffer needlessly. Side note: Ignore it if my grammar is off; it's 12AM, I'm tired, and too lazy to read through it. Ignore it if I've repeated myself, too.

If You Found 250 Million Coins. What Would You Buy? 20k views
Er...lesse. Armadyl Godsword or Saradomin Godsword. Undecided. Santa Hat. Dragonfire Shield. The rest'd go on random skills. :P Probably 99 Range and whatever else I can afford, but I'd save 20m.

How do *YOU* make money?
A combination of Hunter, Tormented Demons and Slayer. There are other things, but those are the main ones. Especially Hunter, as I think half of my cash is because of Implings.

The Most Profitable Skill?
Sustainable, I'd say 91 Runecrafting. Unsustainable, it'd have to be combat (GWD or Tormented Demons, imo) or Hunter at 83 - At 83 Hunter, I average 800k per hour but it's anything from 200k an hour to 3m+ Mining is in there, too, but I'd think 91 Runecrafting would be better. Just a guess, though.

So, how old are you guys?
Seventeen.

If you were to get ALL 99's...
1. Hunter - It's my highest skill, and my favourite. I find it relaxing, even though it is repetative. 2. Attack - I love the cape. 3. Hitpoints 4. Strength 5. Defence 6. Ranged - The last five are because I enjoy combat, and it'd help a lot with Tormented Demons, of course. 7. Summoning - It'll take a long time, and I'd want it first, but that's not realistic. So I'll say after all combat. 8. Fishing - It's relaxing. 9. Woodcutting - Same as above, really. 10. Prayer - I can't see myself getting this for a long time, but I should have the cash for it by the time I get the other 99s. 11. Cooking - I could probably get it relatively fast but it bores me. D: 12. Thieving - Fast skill, but again, it bores me. 13. Fletching 14. Smithing - I enjoy it a lot, but money is an issue. 15. Crafting 16. Construction 17. Magic - Honestly, I can't stand training it. ._. 18. Slayer. Wish it'd come earlier, but my combat exp'll probably be more from zombie monkies, giant spiders and Tormented Demons. x: 19. Firemaking 20. Herblore 21. Farming 22. Mining. 23. Agility. 24. Runecrafting.

I was pretty bored, and I'd just gotten 69 Smithing for Rocking Out. (I needed to do something else so I didn't go insane. :() Now I'm happy. c:

Oh man oh man oh man..
First of all, I'm sorry you lost all of that. Not the same, but I have spent 20m on skills recently and I only had a little more than you. But Hunter helped me get that back up (as well as TDs, but that was only today). Honestly, you'll make it back. It'll take you a while, of course, but eventually you'll end up with more than you originally had. Best of luck to you, and I'm sorry I can't be of more help.
