Oo just got given an interesting tid bit for runefest (maybe wrong topic?) there won't be an item like the golden scythe this time around. The expectation of it could cause a health and safety fiasco of about 1k people trying to stampede around the arena for clues! But there will still be an item given away to anyone who attends :)

Nothing major but Mod Boko on his livestream was able to at least say that the next Zaros quest is going to be extremely lore heavy :) Goes without saying really but at least it's confirmed :razz:

Thanks for collecting all that Binary! :) The PvP thing is a project that's currently titled as DarkScape, although I don't know anymore than that at the moment :( And the new gods? One of them could be an Elder for a certain race in particular, Mah-gnificent if it comes to pass.

Yes, yes! My thoughts exactly, let the global impact of the battle be decided by the community but at least let us individually have an impact on how Lumbridge turns out! I wanna feel like my votes will have a serious impact on the game in the way I envisage.

Ahh so Divination will solely be based on the manipulation of the anima mundi, I thought it was just going to be one source of several. Wonder if it's gonna act similarly to the life stream in Final Fantasy VII and we'll see other bosses like Vorago begin to appear on Gielinor to defend The Elder Gods prize possession.

Hmmm wonder if the three orbs circling the big one might signify the 3 things we will divine from? The skill is meant to involve the anima mundi so I wonder if there's 2 other sources we can tap in to?

I agree with the 4th one. Can't wait for this skill, I think it's meant to have a connection with the anima mundi, can't remember properly, but it would be cool to see how that will be incorporated with ongoing and new quests and also the world events.

Fight for Zamorak, make someone happy:

Thank God I am not alone! Every person I've talked to in game who supports Zaros have all fundamentally said the same thing "I've picked Saradomin because Zamorak stole his power/killed him". But if you truly support Zaros then would it not be more in his favour to try and deal a blow to Saradomin? You know, the guy who knows where every single elder artefact is, has a huge support base and has been around since a time before Guthix, he's one of the oldest and most dangerous Gods.

I'm only assuming its between 2 gods because I've heard we'll be seeing Saradomin Vs Zamorak. It's a fight I've wanted to see for years so I'm rather excited!

I think I was told you will be logged in at Lumbridge, but I can't remember now. At the very least we will be seeing a cutscene upon login, and we will officially be into the 6th age. So I recommend everyone to make sure they have their graphic options set up, and have your music! I actually don't know what things entail afterwards. I think the event fundamentally lasts for the 3 months, so we may be collecting supplies/fighting in the name of one of the Gods (or against both?), whether that includes PvP could be possible I guess, seasonal high scores is meant to track a load of things, so a reward for best killer in the name of Sara/Zammy could be interesting!

Well, come 3pm on Monday 22nd July we shall at long last be completely into the 6th age and Runescape 3. Say your farewells to Lumbridge as it get's destroyed (or mostly destroyed) in the battle between Saradomin and Zamorak. We are finally gonna see these two foes go toe to toe :) And we should get some nice concept art of Zamorak in the seasonal high scores, as well as see a few nice rewards for the people who reach number 1 in the various ranks.

Heard last week that it was gonna get delayed but thought it was gonna be the whole thing, so quite pleased with the current outcome because it is definitely for the best. Can't wait to see the very big fight that's gonna happen with the battle of Lumbridge!

Have to say it's coming along quite nicely, the RS3 with NIS runs ok-ish on my computing rig, still loads to do though. But I suppose they can probably just pull it off for next Monday, HTML5 may not work brilliantly but the java client should hopefully be ironed out enough.

So apparently RS3 won't be out on the 22nd, but I suppose we'll know for sure in just over 11 days!

Don't think Divination will be out until after RS3's launch. I've heard RS3 comes out 22nd July so Divination should be August/September!

At long last: I was quite happy plodding along until the end of the month to finally get 2496 skill total but I saw that 5994 people had already hit it and decided I'd try to get in the first 6000. Took a screenshot of the rank list, ended up bang on the 6000th person! Pushing it close (I ended up rank 5441 or something however): Was quite surprised to see Mod Mark come along and congratulate me :o And finally the last level up...until the new skills come out: Feeling rather fine I must say :)

That's exactly what I was hoping for when the EOC originally came out.
