Res... You're not prime minister anymore, we've accepted you're not playing. Also yes it kind of already exists, but Japan doesn't have access to that technology. And I'm doing it to an improved form anyway.
-
Hegemony
Riiiiiiiiight Sounds like sore loser talk to me but okay. And if you have so many better things to do, why did you spend weeks and months asking for a hegemony and then just leave it?

Suiciding because you're going AFK? Really... You seem to go AFK just in the nick of time sometimes.

You know, embargoes work two ways right? You lose money because you're not selling anything anymore..

It seems literally no one reads my posts in that thread... I did.

Riiight. Well how come he's like like 3-4 countries? Some countries don't even make sense.
-
The Back Room
I don't mean stop anyone playing, but that proxying was getting stupid. Yes Res was getting stupid about Canada, but how come when anyone declares war EVERYONE jumps them. Christ guys, you complain when it happens to you but you ALWAYS do it to someone else.
-
The Back Room
Riiiiiiiight Yeah anyway, I say just reverse time or something, or claim the events didn't happen, because I really don't want to play a game like that.

Ok what country was Retech? Because I am pretty sure he was either Germany or France. And no, firing a missile from China to England is harder than it sounds, they have to long range missiles, which gives Britain a lot of time (a lot of countries can easily find out that missiles are heading for them, the problem is dealing with them) and thus evacuate the cities, or even set up some missile defense in the time. Also the fact that he would have to proxy China for that, and the fact China would have to put themselves on the line from an almost global assault from a ton of countries afterwards.
-
The Back Room
Eh Retech's never been the one for strategy and more on the way for "How can I win the fastest, the cost doesn't really concern me" Also the fact that you can build enough missiles in a few years to completely obliterate the large cities of Britain... Without it becoming world wide knowledge (ever tried hiding that many missiles?) The game just lacks certain key aspects in the real world which make certain things you are able to do in hegemony impossible. Such as this missile business... In real life, even if you were able to get that many missiles, you would not be able to launch them, but let's say you were a dictator with complete rule and could launch them, you would have been discovered before you would be able to fire... And you wouldn't be able to fire them all at the same time, no you would have to do barrages. Also the fact that these aren't 'real' people.. You aren't stricken with guilt. I actually vote to just have the entire event removed from the game, it was a [bleep] move that Retech always pulls, and it's a bit old now.

I think the military rule will have to be invoked soon Where you can't have a military of a certain size because of population or because it just doesn't make sense. Or Upkeep, because giant armies will make this annoyingly boring.
-
Hegemony
It would. But then again, the side that wins is the side that recieves the most funding.
-
Hegemony
I agree with Res there, he does actually have a chance to succeed. What about a rebellion in Canada? The pro British side and the anti British side. (Also the mindset of the DF player would be "How could I use my 7 dwarves to create a mechanism to farm elephants)
-
Hegemony
Perhaps Res, you should stop looking at Wikipedia article. Just because you have control over the military does not mean they will follow you. I am quite sure, if you told them to turn on their own people so they can serve a dictator, probably would just make them rebel against your rule.
-
The Back Room
You playing on hardcore mode?
-
Hegemony
Here's 3 reasons why people would just rebel to your rule over their nation 1 - You have threatened Canada 2 - You are practically a dictator right now 3 - You have tried to exert power over the Commonwealth you do not have So I think it's fair to say Canada can leave the commonwealth and then get all control back. You do not control the Queen technically, you are the prime minister of Britain, not the Queen.

I actually agree with Resistance here You censored out your own words in some spots, so you obviously had something to hide. You seem mighty suspicious here Mather, I'd just leave it where it is.

Yes, just saying that China wouldn't embargo anyone (Also a pawn can't take a king, as a king can't move into a place which would mean it would be taken next turn, and as pawns only move one space...)
-
Hegemony
China looks at France and says "No"? China would not embargo anyone because a load of people have... And Germany Also are you even playing because I'm not sure now..
