  1. Why'd no one say they were ready when you were all watching the thread? I was serious about that saying ready again stuff.
  2. Ok yeah, preparations are nearing completion, please say if you are ready now. We will start at in 15 minutes once 3 people have said they're ready.
  3. Realise, that you guys saying ready does nothing, and I will just ask you to say it again when it hits 10pm
  4. I'm still not sure high school = college As I'm 17 and you're 14/15, and I'm going into my second last year of college and last of my compulsory college years before I can go to Uni
  5. I'm not sure what years high school are, as we don't exactly have 'high school' in Britain, but Primary Secondary College University. I'm in college, so I guess that's kind of like high school? By the way, what you call college in America is University in Britain.
  6. Making sure everyone knows this is at 10pm GMT tomorrow I will only start when 3 people say they're ready.
  7. I'm not sure what my next year will be because I took on an extra subject but this is what my classes will probably like Monday Biology - Biology - Media - Media - Chemistry Tuesday Media - Media - Chemistry - Chemistry - Biology Wednesday Chemistry - Chemistry - Media - Biology - Biology Thursday English - English - Computing - Computing - English Friday Computing - Computing - English - English - Computing But yeah I'm not really intentive in school, I don't read my notes, and I didn't even buy the books that you had to use. My schedule was this: Wake up at 7:30 (sometimes 8) and go to school at 8:30, arrive at 9, and then do my lessons until 3 and 3:30 to 2:00 was my game time :P, didn't really change when exam month happened, I pretty much only revised computing, and did a few practice papers for chemistry. This was a bad habit I got into though, because GCSE's were the easiest things you could ever do, and I never got lower than a C in ALL of my classes (which back then covered a large array of subjects) Now that I moved up to A-level, I didn't really switch into the right mode for them, and actually was the first time I ever found school 'difficult' and it was a pretty hard lesson to learn to be honest, still haven't learned it. But yeah, my exam results have shown me that I need to sort it out, these D's man.... ;_;
  8. Yeah I'll probably play
  9. Lei, you're kind of right and wrong at the same time. Both Lelouch from Code Geass and Light from Deathote are very similar, in the sense they are both anti heroes. Achieving thier goals with questionable motives, or if you look a tropes, a well intentioned extremist in some respects. Both are handed a power that is practically Godly, Lelouch with his Geass that makes people do what you say, and Light with the death note. Code geass is a very good anime, and is a good length which will keep you occupied long (I think it's like 50 episodes, a bit more). Code geass also has a huge array of Just as planned, crowning moment of awesome and crowining music of awesome. Both the dub and sub are good. Also the costumes in Code geass are kickass.
  10. It's probably because the two subjects I did good in are much easier than the two I enjoy and did bad in Chemistry and Computer science are the ones I got D's in And I got a B in Media studies and a C in English Literature.
  11. Results were not as I wanted :<, I passed them all but didn't get the grades I wanted. And the subjects I liked the most, I did the worst in, and the subjects I took on as a hobby I did the best in. HOW DOES THAT WORK
  12. No that's Lelouch... It's from Code Geass
  13. Picking up my school results tomorrow, and based on those results is what I do. As in, if I pass computing I will work on my computing coursework, if not I wont. Oh and I have chemistry work to do, and have to write up ideas for a new film to create in media.
  14. Sadly you're wrong Mather.
  15. A note to all: Session is most likely on Friday at 10pm GMT :) (Unless I get bad results on my A-levels, then I will probably feel too down to do this) I will be editting in the opening 'area' in the second post, when I have finished it.
  16. :) Well the game wont start for a little while, as I get a folder and everything set up, and write up a few locations. Character creation, just giving a name is fine, but giving a backstory allows you to work your way to your final goal a little faster I guess, as it changes your opening stats.
  17. Good point. I'll give you a sample tomorrow. As right now I'm feeling a bit tired.
  18. Pretty much. It uses the combat and stats from DnD as well as stuff like AC and I will probably make weapons like it too. Other than that, I have other rules for other things, such as XP.
  19. I would prefer it, as it promotes roleplay.
  20. Reserved You can now post.
  21. So yeah, making a remake of Dungeoneering, hopefully it'll work out. The background setting of the world: In the world of Terra the story takes place. It's history, a bloody one. When man discovered how to become a God, many fools flocked to the chance, but many did not know that a price had to be paid to truly bend the world to your favour. Wars were fought because of these new found powers, people believing they could conquer the world with an army of magicians, others deeming these sorcerers as heretic scum, that freely walk around in the sight of God and must be punished. Years of blood shed, thousands, if not millions of people sacrificed, these sacrifices going on to fuel the might of the magicians, as well as the spirits of men. Truly the world was beyond saving, cities wiped from existence, forests burned to the ground, oceans turned to deserts and deserts to oceans. The power of these ancient magicians was far too dangerous for such power drunken fools, that artefacts that truly bended nature were locked away. Stones that gave magicians pure reign over their powers, jewels that twisted the form of men into demons and worse. Weapons that if released, would truly shake the crumbling foundations the world stands on. The wizards were defeated, with their artefacts gone and their resources dwindling, they were utterly helpless. Thankfully to the kind kings of the kingdoms that stretched far, the wizards were allowed to live, integrated into society. Of course, the tensions rise and blood is still shed, but the wise old king holds his kingdom together, through war with monstrous beings that invade, or the power hungry maniacs that still roam about the streets, plotting the very demise of the King himself. It makes one wonder if such a world will ever pull through. The rules It's a play by post roleplay game, so no more IRC, and it will be session based. Death is not permanent, although holds penalties If the session accidentally ends too soon, such as my internet being cut off, it ends there and the latest posts I missed will be taken care of when I return, although the session will not continue. Your backstory influences your beginning stats Your actions influence your stats You are not shown your stats PVP is allowed, initiative is whoever posts first mixed with what action you do during that post. Arguements will be settled by me, and taken to PM Mary sues will be punished Have fun Other notes: This will have a general story that I hope you will all follow, and I will try have everyone taking part Exploitation (I will begin to notice when you do it) Metagaming (Looking at other's posts and using it to your advantage) General [bleep]ery will be punished by me being a [bleep] to you. Magic needs reagents (which generally relate to the spell) and if you are not providing them, they will take it from somewhere. All forms of magic are available, if you can think it up you can do it with the appropirate skill in magic and the appropirate reagents. Higher level skills either make you require less reagents, allow you to cast more complex spells or just make them simply stronger. 22. With all due respect, I think the decision was wrong. I'm not sure if you're just choosing to let Resistance does what he does because he's just a bad egg, for example a student in school who is consistantly bad will recieve less punishment because the teachers know it pretty much has no effect on the student. But no, he is commonly very rude to people, and then twists the words of others, which is not how someone should go about their business. As with many examples, he says something over the top or a bit extreme, we say something back to him and he says we're personally attacking him, while at the same time calling us an idiot or a [developmentally delayed] or other names... Which obviously is a personal attack in itself What I am saying is, just letting Res get away with what he does, which I have seen you do a few too many times now, and the problems wont stop and it will bring hassle in the future if you do not do something actually against it, instead of punishing the people who dare answer back And yes I am very aware I posted this so Res can see it, because I think he needs to see it.
  23. Archi, now with a theme tune for his posts.
  24. Was really only going to steal their combat system. As it's easy to roll and easy to remember. And their attributes and the effect the attributes have.
