PotC mostly, but yeah some sort of One piece mixed in.
  2. Icuownage posted a topic in Falador Tavern
Well I'm making this just to get people more interested, as people will probably take more notice of an entire topic instead of just a post. Introduction Welcome to the world of Everblue, a world compromised of mainly oceans. The human race are the dominant race of this world, but other races, far more dangerous than mere humans exist. Many factions and nations exist too, squabbling over what little land this world has to offer, but not all nations only want land, some crave the ocean. Many believe that they who control the oceans, control the world, and so constant naval wars have broken out, hundreds, possibly thousands have ships have met their end and sunk to the unforgiving depths. You! A mere washed ashore adventurer with no real memory, but with a destiny so grand. Could you be the next pirate lord, scourge of the seas? A powerful merchant? Ruler of a nation, or perhaps just a humble life as a mere tavern keep suits you. You decide. Sorry for the slightly rubbish introduction, the story does get better ><. Rules. I am the moderator, what I say goes unless you can find such a compelling argument on why I am wrong. Magic is not unheard of, but it sort of limits you. Most who practice magic have sacrificed a lot to be able to control the elements, and those who can are shunned by regualr folk. It has a similar system to what I believe Dungeoneering had, but I am probably wrong, it has the same basic concept though. Go wild! Role playing gives you bonuses You have a random start area, but it will always be on a coast, but it is possible to start with someone else. Some mechanics for you. Now you say an action based on your situation and I roll and do other things, secret things, to tell you what happens, and this carries on and on and on. But you're not only limited to the dungeoneering-esque gameplay, if you roleplay it right, you could even bring some hegemony-esque gameplay as your rule over a nation or your own ship. Also remember you're not the only people here, NPC's have a huge role, and if you become famous, you will have a huge role over NPC's and world events. World events happen a lot, heck even entire factions can get whiped out before you even get near them, you can even form your own faction if you choose too. Just to let you know that will probably make the game interesting but difficult. I would prefer if people kept to a piratey sort of roleplay, but I am okay if you decide to go off into a weird tangent. Sessions are held whenever me and 3 people who want to play are online, being as it is the summer I can hold a session practically everyday and any time. Well people there is an entire world out there for you to discover, good luck and have fun. 3. They're basically the same length as their lances, but you have the defensive bonus, giving you the advantage against the chargers. Also I'd like to point out that a curved shield, well what I am imagining here, kind of like this http://www.a2armory.com/images/med-shields/wooden-shield.jpg Would probably suck in direct confrontation, so you should include some swordsmen in your ranks incase of a direct confrontation.
  4. Also that they're Asian weaponry, and they'd be very knowledgeable on them, but I don't think we're going by actual history here.
  5. So do I :P Ohh I see what it is, yeah now that makes sense. My bad ><
  6. Nice tactic Ross, but scythes would suck against lances. Looks like the terrapins are pretty effective.
  7. Ktetm Sextus Immaturity :D
  8. I-It-It's.. GLORIOUS
  9. Remidns me, I need to remember my troops, and keep them written down.
  10. Is anyone actually interested in my idea, cause I can create a write up.
  11. Two extra terms, no spying on me, and you can't be hired to attack me. If you accept that, then the alliance is okay.
  12. I dunno Nex, after you ditched me for Mather, and then I remember the post that said you had spies in my country, also that you sided with the muslims, and that your religion is a heathen to my religion. I'll think about it, what would be the terms?
  13. Devils fruit? :twss: Yeah, stuff like that would be included, and that would be one of the only ways of gaining magic, there would be another few ways, but like the devil fruit, they're quite horrible.
  14. The face they're on another continent :P.
  15. I think Retech allowed it, and yes, caves like that do exist.
  16. Well the pirate game could be quite fun imo, it could combine hegemony if you take the right path, and it still has many rp aspects. Plus... Pirates are cool
  17. I had an idea for a pirate sort of game, or you know, when we all had ships and people were sailing over oceans all the time. It would start out like this. You'd wake up, washed ashore from a sunked ship. I'll either place you all into random ports/islands, or you can all say that you want to start at the same point, but that would mean that either all your backstories would be entwined or you were all part of w/e made you all washed ashore. There are quite a few paths you can take, become a pirate, a mercenary, part of the navy, a governer for a port, a rich merchant trader, or just simply a humble tavern keeper. It'd be a mix of Pirates of the Caribbean and One Piece (Well the non crappy stuff from One piece)
  18. I have an idea for a Dungeoneering sort of game, but I'd rather see if people want to play Nex's idea.
  19. I used to be an avid player of source games, mainly Counter-Strike and Team Fortress Classic, but then source mods came out, and everyone left for that, but my computer can't run source mods to allow me to compete with the people I used to play with, so that was the end of my FPS gaming really.
  20. It says <60% Meaning Earth could be right.
  21. I was thinking of going for a doctor who species, but they all kinda suck and have obvious weaknesses, the only good ones were the time lords, or the Chronarchs, as they can regenerate and they're extremely intelligent.
  22. Jesus O-o Good luck with the tornado.
  23. *Pulled out of the war Okayy, next 5 years will be me just setting up my defenses in France, Norway, Brudges and Sardina. 20 million will be enough :D, then the next will be the annhilation of Mongolia, so that is 40 million going to their destruction, and that is just us at France.
  24. But you pulled out didn't you?
  25. Why do people always forget I conquered one of the islands :<
