When I started, most rune items were only worth about 100K-200K anymore, soon to diminish to near their high alch values - so I don't know much about most of those people. ;) Anyway most people who have much more then those of which it is publically known usually have it from way back in the days when they were still relatively cheap. The person I ment is Manjagirl - she had been around in varrock world 1 / fally world 2 for ages as well. Yep kierac and manja merched together.

I was one of the buyers - although it somewhat disturbed me she only wanted to sell them for masses of materials, like she did with her runite items back in the days. ;) r2pleasent was rich at the time, but he was not among the richest yet. As 3 hit u said, there are several other people around noone really knows their wealth of and / or who simply don't get out in the public. There might be some guy with 4,000 santas who got them pretty much all around the time they were dropped for extremely cheap prices (which would represent a market value of ~88bil nowadays), although I never saw actual proof of it and thus remain to put question marks with the claim. And there is at least one other active merchant (although I think she's not active anymore) who is certainly up there in richness, yet noone knows how much she might really have. And then there is always the possibility of relatively unknown rich stakers as well. I dont know if you remember arch wonder, but his main was The--Wonder in rs classic, and his rune miner (in the first 50) was Robbinwood (acc now belongs to his brother in law). He spent all of his mining money on party hats (he had musashi22 make him 668 rune 2 handers or something then sold them). And he still has them to this day, most he has shown me is 27 sets on one of his acc's but i know he has at least 3 hats on his current main and a bunch of small rares on his pures. Kierac used to merchant a lot with a girl, wonder if we are thinking of the same one :oops:

Pretty much any reqs set in 2002-early 2003 say that 27th/28th of february 2002, its a bug, i have an account i made in 2003 that has feb 2002 recoveries.

People were buying 11 stacks of unids for 1k each, thus getting rannars and kwaurms for 1k each, now that they cant gyp people out of expensive herbs for nothing they are complaining.

Sec ill find more flaws, first maxed pure wasnt faken either, he was first maxed with 1 defence, 3 h1t quit, 3 hit u, and da whitey all beat him to flat 99 combat stats besides defence. 3 hit u was the only rune pure to get every combat stat besides def to 99 INCLUDING prayer. This would make him the first ever completed rune pure.

Actually i said mythos is better, and guildwars without its massive limitations is also better, learn to read?. The only time i mentioned grinding as a BAD thing was on final fantasy where it takes 12 hours to get 1 item to keep up with other players your lvl, it takes days to get lvls at the higher lvls, and you can max out EVERY character class (theres about 25). Then you got the skills (about 25). and a lvl 70 (which is the cap on final fantasy) is harder then getting a 99 on runescape. FFxi has too much grind, im fine with grind untill it gets to the point of which you have spent a total of 268 days non stop playing the game (it tells you total play time) and you have maxed 4 of 25 or so char classes and 3 of 25 or so skills. Thats 6432 hours.. In rs at 45,000 xp per hour (about average for skills) thats 257 million xp, which equivilates to arround 2100 skill total. Now do you understand how bad the grind on ffxi is?.

Was just wondering why the monsters were acting like they do .. i think it sucks for all i care we dont need random events, shifting screen, fatigue and what-not. all that is to prevent dishonest gaming. and no matter what, I've always played an honest game .. so really, all these things are just nuisances to players like me, who know how to play an honest game without being babysitted. Jagex keeps making the same mistakes blizzard did and punishing the innocent for the crimes of the guilty, every time a new random is added the autoers have cided arround it within 2 days, we are stuck having to put up with it forever.

If you cant get kills on f2p your doing something wrong :wink: That's not a very true statement. In F2P some people will run the second you hit anything 15+, and when you get to higher level pking, you either need to be with a large team at greater demons, or get really lucky in edge on a DM. Most of the people you find at high levels in edge have very high defence. and in f2p its usually defence > attack. But at lower levels getting kills off of pures and stuff is easy. I get plenty of kills on my 96 and my 115 in low wild. Its all logic, attack some one who wont run and make sure you have the stats to beat them, and remember to hold back. f2p pking isnt about showing off your skill its about hiding it till it counts. Ill often fight on my 96, ill walk up and attack a 99 or 100, they call me a noob or whatever, i fight for the first half an invent of food non potted without using prayer, gennerally they get comfortable at arround half health after this long of a fight, ill then silent pot on them, put prayer on, then 2 hit them, and its very easy to do with practice.

The thing i hate MOST about wow is the pvp, with no risk comes no real reward, its boring as hell. The entire reason rs pvp is so fun IS the risk. Theres very few games that let you take another players items if you defeat them, for this runescape classic was the most original and fun pvp system i have ever played. And whilst you talk about the variety in wow combat you forget to mention rs has 3 different spellbooks and a prayer page all of which have varying effects on pvp. You can use range + melee Mage + melee, hybrid in anyway you want, Wow isnt really superior in variety at all, it just looks prettier when you kill things.

Immediatly after rs2 came out and maybe 2 weeks before he quit rs for good he showed me 465m cash in game, never did find out if he bought his hats back at that time, he said he was going to, if he did he is probably the richest rs acc left.

In my eyes 230m in RS2 is harder than 10m in rsc was unless we talk about the very first years of rsc. If you had the right skills (*cought* rune mining *cought*) 10 mils was pretty much nothing. Yes, but you *are* one of the high levels I mentioned who had 10 mil because of high level skills. ;) In other words, yes the elite would have 10 mil but hardly anyone else. On the other hand, to make that 10 mil you had to get 85 mining when it was still worth a lot. How long did 85 mining take? Not one week, I bet. For example, back in the day Bluerose could make 10 mil in 3 days, does that make it generally easy to make 10 mil on RSC? Nopers. Just for Bluerose it's easy, the rest of us wouldn't be able to get it that fast. ... first of all, in the very first years of rs, there wasn't even such thing as rune, and second it was a long time before anyone even reached 85 mining. =D> Good job trying to talk about the past to some one who was actually there, yes there was rune in the first year of rs, i owned my first rune long in late 2001, mieli was much higher lvl then me at that time, so maybe you should watch who you talk down to, if you actually played rsc like you seem to be making out you would know mieli was one of the highest lvls and also one of the most popular players in rs history. There was rune miners fairly early on, some that come to mind are robbinwood, hohto, arris, tame elf, rabbit4. Btw seph, mieli had more xp in 2002 then you have now.

Well, then I'm sorry that you and half this goody two-shoo forum have fallen into the nerd mindset of pathetically dichotomously placing alcohol and sex into the "bad" category, while stuff like playing Runescape is in the "good" category. Wanna know something funny? Ghandi drank a ton as a kid. Ghandi smoked a lot as a kid. Hell, he was one of the most disobedient SOB's a parent could have, and that was in frikkin' India. But hey, you guys are right, he drank and smoked, and turned out to have a sucky life and be a burden on everyone. If addicted to those substances, yes, they can be problematic. But in moderation, they can be great for experiencing life. Me, even as a teenager I'm more of a fan of wine than beer, but I've got no problem with a buddy cracking open a beer and relaxing for a bit. Sex with a long time girlfriend? Whatever, just use protection, sex is chemically known to increase metaphysical bonds anyways, so more power to ya. The same goes for Runescape. In moderation, it's fine, it's great relaxation. Problem is, you guys are comparing being addicted to something to doing something else in moderation. You're trying to justify your addictions by saying that someone having a drink at a party is a bad person, or at least does a bad thing. Drinking alcohol is not a bad thing. I have nothing against Runescape, it's great fun and great for relaxing after a hard day. I have a problem with justifying an addiction to it, or even just trying to justify it at all. If you think you have an addiction, do what you can to get rid of it. If you don't, then don't feel a need to justify your fun when there are are no points available to be utilized for justification. Hands down? Do you honestly believe that?, 3 hit u over 200 mask sets and 2 or 3 blue hats.. Arch wonder has at least 27 hat sets. Kierac i have no idea what he has except that its beyond the 12 hat sets he has showed me in trade. bluerose13x has never posted a bank pic but every time i see her she is in a blue party hat and chances are she is insanely rich. Iodio is rumoured to have a new staker worth in the billions. r2pleasent has new accounts and has a lot of bank worth. Krazy faken (sam) has billions.
