This quote makes me believe that the Godsword will remain as the most powerful weapon in the game. However that doesn't mean that there won't be any better weapons released. It is quite possible that Jagex may decide to make a weapon with better accuracy and str bonuses than the whip (such as 85slash, 85str) as well as it being around the same speed. I quoted the same thing, but nobody seems to care. It's annoying how everyone conveniently 'assumes' there'll be more powerful weapons, and one handed no less! Instead everyone is like "+5 duhh". The god sword will be the best weapon in rs, its a sword that can kill a god, all the gods are fighting over it, if there was a better weapon the godwars would have been focusing on it instead.

I only use the wild for one thing, Green Dragon hides... I hate the wild but its the only place I can get my hides. Find me somewhere else to get my Green Dragon hides and I won't complain about this update anymore. Get blue ones, or kill brutal greens.

Rs wasnt made out of need for money, as a matter of fact rs only became p2p couse andrew gower couldnt afford server costs, it was after he made members and money started pouring in that andrew realised he had a cash cow and naturally has milked it for all its worth. On andrews old home page he has an entry that says, hopefully enough players click the advertisements so i can afford to keep this game free.

Jagex never once said they wouldnt add any more dragon items, they said to stop suggesting them and they had a list of the CURRENT dragon items. They said these are all the dragon items currently in game, and every one assumed that ment they wouldnt add more, most players that arnt noobs knew that jagex would continue to release dragon items.

They probably studied how people accept and how to accept at the perfect time :roll: Its a program, theres no perfect time to accept, becouse i can do it at any time and they have to change the coins ammount AND hit accept before i notice.

right then, how many mods are there, rounded down? there are certain things that people who play this will only know once they're a player/forum mod. i can guarantee you don't know those. many things people regard as fact for moderators are as far of from the truth as you can be. were you in the middle of the argument when someone claimed a mod tracked them to mage-bank pk them when they had their chat off? can't assume you're that much more knowledgeable than i am, either, especially as broad a topic as 'anything'. trust me, the town criers probably know more about p-mods than you do. I am really good friends with not one but two player mods in real life, i know exactly what they can and cannot do. As to bobbington, if the player mods were choosing each other id suggest they still use the current screening process, just eliminate the people with 800 skill total and 2 million xp.

Talks a load of garbage about which specs he "thinks" will be better, nothing was compared at all. I reckon any version of the godsword will hold its own against a whip. And you are wrong on this, the whip will easily overpower basically every Godsword because it is 2H and much slower. In the time that it takes to hit one 60-70, a pker could hit 2 30+ hits easily equaling the damage done, and not to mention the k0 threat of a nicely placed dds spec. the only way the godsword could stand its own, i agree, would be the bandos GS as it can drain stats, and also hit very high. Personally I wouldn't try pking with it, nor do i have money to waste on it at this time, although when prices drop a bit, i may consider purchasing one. I hit a 60 with armadyl, you struggle to eat shark, i hit a 78, you drop dead. Whip wont outpower a godsword becouse i wont need to eat like a mofo right after the first swing of the fight, your options are eat and miss a combat round or get 2 hit. now do you understand?.

I do pretty much all my training in the wild for mining, combat, rc ect and i LOVE this update. Finally people cant run and x out with flowers every time they get killed. And it never made sense that i couldnt be attacked while fighting.
