I was in evil bob prison event today and decided to just hang out and watch for a while, 2 lvl 3's in basic clothing with 80+ woodcut both with names Qin##### random numbers came through in the time i was there, and finished the event as fast as the legit players doing it.

Prayer pots make the game boring, protect melee should have been a lvl 80 prayer.

There is a tonne of money drains in rs though, miscelania, boats, shops, construction, entrance fees, and the money is getting spread out to new players, no ones really getting a whole lot richer off inflation and prices arnt changing drastically. Rare prices are more stable now then they have ever been in the 7 years i have played.

Paul was S h a r k, and yes jagex mods do play on normal accounts, that doesnt mean they know what the player base needs though.

People keep saying the combat system is unbalanced but they are wrong, look at it this way. a 60 99 1 at lvl 80 or so might kill a 75 75 75 pretty easy with dds specs, but is that unbalanced?, lets look at the exp it takes to build these chars.. 75 75 75 - about 4 million xp. 60 99 1 - about 13.4 million xp. Notice the difference?, if you train 3 times as hard to reach the same combat lvl you deserve an advantage.

Its more about balance than realism. Who would use scimitars or daggers if u cud swing a huge hammer or axe at the same speed? And nobody uses 2 handed weapons? Ever seen someone hold an M16 with a shield? I was reffering to runescape artard. And people will use scims and daggers becouse they want to wear a shield. If jagex insists on making 2 handed weapons so slow, they should make them do a LOT more damage. To keep the average damage per minute arround the same depending on armour type and other factors. As it is a d scim kills full rune faster then a dragon battle axe, and thats just stupid.

Jagex just needs to make all weapons the same speed, who needs realism, No one uses 2 handed weapons any more becouse they are useless.

I think muted players should be able to use clan chat, i mean, your in the chat with your friends, not in public, and they have the option to kick and report you if you get abusive.

And youtube takes a LOT more bandwidth then rs ever could, an rs character would take up 1/10th of the space of 1 youtube video, yet Youtube still makes insane ammounts of money. If jagex says they dont make money off adverts they are liars.

Thats a pretty arrogant way to think.. Im with dragon, sorry but the majority of lvl 70s i meet are immature, p mod or not, I rarely corrospond with lower lvls unless they show me that they can act like an adult. I have about 5 people under lvl 100 on my list and 3 of them are tipiters.

i really think that this post had little to do with the actual discussion, if the f2ps are happy with what they have thats a problem for jagex. No it isnt, f2p still contribute to the game, jagex doesnt really care if they have some pure f2pers, when the game came out they didnt even have p2p, and we got by just fine without it, jagex knows that without f2p p2p will fail, so they dont mind if people want to stay f2p, its keeps the numbers up and looks good on paper. Whats looks better: Runescape an online role playing game with 2 million players. or Runescape an online role playing game with 800,000 subscribers. I know which one id use to advertise.

My friend is a p mod, he let another p mod wear his blue party hat, the guy he gave the hat to logged out and put private off, he had his p mod status removed but he wasnt banned and my friend never got his hat back. P mod status is stupid becouse it earns you a certain lvl of trust that you havnt earnt, and if the wrong person gets this power there is massive potential for stealing/scamming/false reports (out of context reports).

Whats with all the idiots saying "Most/All f2p players complain" How stupid can you people get.. Stop and think.. How often do you see a complaint, pretty often right, but who stands out more, the 1 person complaining or the 1000 minding their own business and just playing the game.. The guy complaining stands out more so he gets noticed, but believe me if the MILLION f2p players or even a majority of them started to complain you couldnt imagine how much worse it would be, so shut up with these stupid comments, i doubt its even 10% of f2p complaining. And im willing to bet the percentage of whiners is even higher on p2p, go read rants next time p2p gets an upgrade i bet there will be a complaint about it, no matter how good it is. And to stay on topic: Jagex will never remove f2p content, becouse f2p is the only thing keeping rs running, no ones going to pay for a game that looks like utter crap without getting hooked on it first.

Nat prices have barely changed since rsc, i doubt much will change them now, there is always more demand for nats then supply and always will be. What do you think comes into the game more? armour worth over 600gp+ yew long bows +mage long bows + weapons worth over 600gp+ jewelery worth over 600 gp + anything else worht alching.. Or nature runes?.
