Cursed you won 7bil in total probably - not daily winnings. :lol: Besides, I'm the living evidence that merchanting can hold staking, especially if you keep in mind that pretty much all top stakers were involved in bug abuse one way or another - not a very fair comparison eh. :roll: Merchanting is relatively reliable and consistent income. Staking, in most cases, eventually comes down to luck with perhaps a slightly expected higher chance of winning then your opponent for good stakers. Cursed was banned with like 26 billion total, in one day he did make 7 billion, but he was a bug abuser so he doesnt count. If you want to include bug abusing stakers in this might as well include durial. I have made 225m in a day staking personally no bugs involved.

Best skillers are the front page of rs highscores, thats all that can be said, if you limit the skills you train then your not a skiller.

This whole conversation is pointless, pures arnt useless, no char is useless, put the right guy behind a good pure and it will destroy. Its not the character that counts its the pker behind it. I get kills on my 74 pure ranger (40 def 92 range) I get kills on my 96 rune pure (85 att 91 str 45 def) I get kills on my 78 initiate pure (81att 94str 20def) I also get kills on my 113 combat main (93 att 94 str 88 def). I get many kills for every death on every one of my chars, its got nothing to do with the chars and everything to do with knowing when to eat, pot, try for a ko. I hate people to come up with arguments like this. They are akin to the people who say "If you think that 1M is nothing, why don't you give me 1M?" Runescape is a game after all, but that doesn't mean she's going to drop all of her things because of that. Although Runescape is just pixels, we put time and effort into those pixels, which makes it fun. Losing a phat in Runescape is disappointing, but it shouldn't be a big deal to you in real life. So you spend 6 months of your real life working to get a party hat, some loser takes it with a glitch and you shouldnt care?. Words cant describe the stupidity im seeing in this topic, honestly i doubt any of you have actually had a party hat, or even worked to achieve something or you would know that the feeling of loss is very real. Runescape takes time and dedication, if you dedicate yourself to ANYTHING pixels or not, losing it is a kick to the gut.

Becouse the second screen is buggy as hell, you can even accidently double click on the first screen and it accepts on the second. Also when your tired you often dont see the change on the first screen and just click accept on the second. The trade changes window you would see something come up as soon as the change was made, there would be an option to report and jagex could clearly see the attempted scam. Unless your a scammer yourself you should find this suggestion fantastic, its nothing you have to click past or anything its simply going to stop lowlife trade switchers and rule scammers.

its not a second screen its on the first one and just shows every change made during the trade, that way if you just watch the box the scammer wont even get to the second page.

All jagex needs to do is add a box offside of the tradewindow/dueling screen that shows all changed made, that way if some one switches cash on you it will show up in the changes box, same for rules on a duel, if some one puts weapons off you will know, as it is now if you go to second window of the duel screen it simply says some items cannot be worn, you have no idea if thats your weapon or helm ect. A report button could also be made to this changes list and jagex could easily tell an attempted scam. Discuss.

Classic doesnt have a community, they all just stand at draynor on the first world and duel, i can walk arround for 2 hours on the second world without seeing another player.

Regular magic doesnt do much damage anyway. And it would be my fault, you should always be prepared for anything. And besides that, its just a game. (oh my gawd!!!1one my fake hat, that wont help me at all irl is gone!!! ahh!!) #1 regular magic does identical damage to ancient, 30 is max on both, you can do 30 damage on normal magic 14 levels sooner then ancient, you can also drain prayer with it. #2 BS, if its just pixels and you honestly dont care go drop your entire bank right now, whats that? you do care? then stop with the stupid posts.

Now, this mainly applies to melee pures. As mage's are generally better of farcasting. I would contend that THE reason pures 'own' is gear based. At low levels, a guy decked out in his full Mith / Addy set can put up a decent fight against a pure str character. Often beat it. However, how many low levels are willing to risk their shiny new armour on the wilderness? Most venture out in iron / steel. Or even one item. The main benefit of the defence skill, is not the skill itself - but the armour it allows one to wear. Clearly, someone with 1 defence, 40 attack and 60 strength who wears iron armour, will be at an insane advantage compared to someone who has 30 defence, 30 attack and 30 strength yet still wears iron armor. The same applies to higher levels - If your main bonus in training defence is the Barrow's and Dragon armour sets, yet you fight in full rune Vs 45 defence pures who have maximized their damage whilst still pulling out similar defence stat's, then you will be at a disadvantage. The divide between impures and pures swings further towards the impures the higher level you play at. The only real reason for this that I can see is that generally speaking the higher level you are, the richer you will be, and therefore feel more comfortable with wearing the expensive armour sets that play to your strength's Vs Pures. Another factor is the element of skill, that a pure character develops. Most pures spend a LOT of time in PvP. They learn when to pot, when to eat, when to safe and when to go for a KO. Generally impure skillers, who like to pass an hour here and there daytripping in the wilderness fail to develop these 'Skills'. Not to say that there arent skilled impures and unskilled pures, its just a factor to consider. My two pence. - Gid. [/wave to all the oldies ^.^] nooo noo.. most pures that fight like barrows and stuff already is like 90+ attk and 99 str.. and commonly equipped with barrages.. soo i wouldn't think pures would lose... we would commonly kill barrows people. Right, i mean couse with your 99 str at 90 combat your max damage is 39 or so with whip, however a lvl 90 with say 85 str in dharoks can hit up to about 60 on your low crappy def, doesnt take many of those to ko. And far casters blow, a high lvl impure ussually has enough range that they can switch to black hides and range you till you move in close then ko with dharok.

I have a great idea, remove multi wilderness, protection prayers and make it so you cant run or eat for 3 rounds of combat, we really should try it out 8-)
