Rsc wouldnt have to be rewritten at all, the codes all there it just has to be intergrated into the server and linked to a portal. actualy, i did see a document by jagex sayign that the 2 games cnanot communicate anymore. so yeh, it would have to be rewriten and its not worth their while. im sure rsc was fun for you, but its time to move on. its what, 2-3 years later? the only reason rsc still exists is for the old players, and when they dissapear, so will rsc. No it wouldnt have to be rewritten, get a basic knowlege of java and try again. Rsc doesnt have to be touched, rs2 simply has to have code written to allow access to rsc viaaportal, which would take very little effort,i have modded games into other games before and itsnot exactly hard. The games dont have to interact, read my firstpost properly then respond.

DI= Damage Incorporated DS= Dark Slayers How can DI be most dominant?. There has never been a time in di's past were no clan would fight them. Clans like mi, bdk, rs mob, and rsd were dominant clans. Rs2 has no such thing as dominance.

BDK. In Bdk's era no one would even step in the wild if they were out. How many clans have challenged all of runescape to a war and won? Just bdk. I remember fighting nitestalker8 on my lvl 92 rune pure at axe hut when robin hood, xar family 2 and about 8 others logged in, i had never seen so many high lvls before in my life. Fact is even at its most dominant DI had clans that would stand up to them, they had rsd, eoh, mk, the devils, gladz ect would often fight them. No one would fight bdk.

I despise people who train with a cannon at rock crabs and i have found that the kind of people who do this do it just to be jerks.. Rock crabs are bad xp, they have garbage drops, they are not a slayer task.. What possible reason would you have to waste 400k cash firing off 2k cannon balls at them? Oh yeah, the fact that a cannon cant target a rock crab unless some one else is fighting it.. So if your at rock crabs and your cannon is firing you pretty much just ruined some one elses training. Only low lifes take a cannon to rock crabs.

No one gives a damn about f2p prayer, if you turn it on the person your fighting calls you a loser and walks out. And there is giants on f2p btw, i forked out 980k on f2p for big bones and lvled 1-43 prayer in a day on my pure mage, so even there it isnt hard. Regardless of whether or not it is useful in a PvP situation, it is very useful in a PvM situation. It would take about 210k big bones to get to 85, which would take an extremely long time, and cost atleast 60M. I wouldn't really say that isn't hard. =; I think that the protection prayers are at a low level for f2p, since they have very limited resources in training prayer. What use do f2p pvm have for prayer? the highest hit dealt by a monster on f2p is a 9. A lobster heals 12.. Prayer is overkill on f2p.

Every 90+ combat rune pure i see on w18 has a fire cape, pretty much any pker over lvl 90 has one. + there is lame websites now where you can pay some one to do it for you, not such an achievement.

No real oldschool players would rather have rsc back then bragging rights, and i started in 2001 and you dont see me complaining, oldschool players will also most likely have [Caution: Jagex Rule Violation] or bunny ears.

Jagex mods have said it has a purpose, players just havnt found it yet.

Sure, tougher updates would be cooler for the game and satisfy those players' desire, but is there intelligient opinion really going to overpower the other 90% who want it easy? This game is already easier than super mario on easy level, lets take a leap forward shall we? Your 112 with your highest non combat skill at 71 and saying how easy things are? =D>

No they never said they dont want people playing rsc, they dont like people cheating on rsc, they also want people to pay for memberships.. my idea fixes both problems.

A lvl 45 has enough content to play for the next 5 years. High lvl content however has dried up, we have done pretty much every thing and nothing is a challenge anymore, so no every ones oppinion isnt equal, a lvl 45 saying he is quitting becouse he has nothing to do shouldnt be using a computer becouse he is clearly an imbecile. A lvl 110 - 126 saying the same thing probably has a point.

The current bank system is fine, organisation is your problem, if your too lazy to sort your bank out now a new format wont change that. Jagex doesnt have the midus touch id rather have them NOT fix something that isnt broken.

5 leg drops in 2 hours is enough evidence for me thats 5 in about 300 kills, on a creature with a current drop rate of about 1 in 2500.

Don't post things as "it's a fact" when there's no REAL evidence for it. Loads of people got those items on the first day because loads of people are training against such new monsters when they are just added to the game. Having said that, I want to add that I wouldn't be surprised if they actually did have higher drop rates for those items the first few days / weeks and then lowered it later on. I've seen too many people - who don't say such things quickly because they know it could just be bad luck - say to me that they suspect that drop rates were changed for various items at certain points in history and I've observed price changes in those items sometimes too. My friend chris was at steel dragons within 5 minutes of them being added, he got 5 pairs of dragon legs within 2 hours. Arch showed up about 20 minutes later and he got 3, then 2 other trwf members think it was elven and some one else got 2 pairs each. I have spent 9 hours at steels without a leg drop. The day dustdevils where released there was a glitch where you could get multiple noted chains, i heard of about 7 people who got this, at the current drop rate of about 1 in 20k i dont think that would have been very likely. the day 0ddball got his first whip drop rate was massive, he made billions. Now people go 3 days without.

Your looking at the wrong items, they are all pretty common, try look at robin hood hat and ranger boots, they have been rising for over a year, 3rd age is a LOT rarer then they are.

No the first whip went for around 53M. There is also no way that Jagex would change drop rates, it just seems like there so many drops because there so many people. I was in trwf when dragon platelegs were added, i was late for the update but 4 of my friends were there within 10 minutes, all of them got a plateleg drop within the hour, chris got 5 arch got 3, cant remember the others. Its always been the same, queen had a much higher drop rate on release for chains, price started at 12m, within a week people realised drop rate was much lower and price rose to 34m.

Rofl... And full dragon will do what?. 3rd age is better then full dragon remember, and 3rd age is about 1000 times harder to get then full dragon. a 1 in 90,000 chance or so of getting a 3rd age piece.. 4 pieces per set.. 2 hours per clue..

Fletching is by far the easiest, rune darts = 1 million xp an hour or so.

I'm sorry but I find that really very rude, I spend alot for time on the offical forums, and read alot of jagex moderator posts about the issue, I have a large understanding gathered over the last 2 years of forum use, of what is and is not possible. Andrew him self said inresponce to RS communicating to RS2 that it is simpaly nolonger possible, they are totaly different games, running on totaly different game engines, and the RuneScript has had so many changes since RS2 that it is just not possible for them to communicate. Who said they have to communicate? rofl. rsc is added to rs2 server.. Rs2 is linked to portal if you pay gold. Thats it, nothing else is required. Thats like saying its not possible to put the original duke nukem into the arcademachine on duke nukem 3d, or that you cant put pac man into another game, you can and its not hard.

Jagex does not alter drop rates "on the first day" for any new items in the game. This is a completely made up statement, and Jagex has never even hinted that this is the case. Players often do not understand that just because they have very good luck does not mean Jagex has completely changed the game. It's all probability; your 16,000th kill is not going to drop a Dragon Left Half. Get a clue then post. Jagex ALWAYS has an increased drop rate on the first day, this is why loads of people got dragon legs, dragon chains, ect on the first day. Every person i know who went to metal dragons in the first few hours got a set of d legs, some people got up to 5. Now you can sit there for 8 hours and get nothing.

Yeah, from what i have heard 3rd age is much much rarer then robin. Btw for all the people commenting on how a fair few people got it on the first day: Every item added to rs has a good drop rate the first day then is considerably lowered, like dragon plate legs and d chains both started out as like a 1 in 50 drop, then it became substantially higher, one of my friends got 4 pairs of platelegs the first day and hasnt got one since.
